I brought Fenris into the Fade with me, is there any way to prevent him from listening to the demon and attacking the party? And if I defeat him is he permanently gone?

It's ok, he's not gone for good. It's like the fade nightmares in DA:O. When you get out of the fade he will be there.

So has anyone gotten him to move in at all?
I'm curious about this as well, and if so, what act/conversation did it happen in? I've finished his personal quest/convos in act 3 and still nothing.

I backtracked a little and got some more rivalry, so I think I'm good to go for Act 2. Had to let Anders do something unsavory... but, sacrifices must be made! Also, if you trigger the second ambush before going to Hadriana, he yells a lot, but I didn't notice any rivalry points. I did tell the slavers we could make a deal (if you're running a sarcastic character, it doesn't sound like you're serious, just being a smartass) and that got +5 rivalry. Bonus- he is damn sexy when angry.
If this doesn't work, I'm giving up. Hawke will live as a chaste woman until Zevran shows up. Hope he's stocked up on herbs from home.

I just want to know where this is:
Am very curious about that, too.
So far the scene I've found on YT shows very differently.

They may be earlier versons of the romance scenes. It seems like they cut out underwear romps in favor for a fade out.
edit: God dammit, I wanted to see THAT scene. He looked so... <3

They gave us that screenshot after the game went gold if I remember it correctly. Why would they do that if the scene wasn't even in the game?

*shrugs* Last minute cut, perhaps? I don't know.
So far, all of the romance scenes I've seen end up fading to black when the intimate scenes occur.

Granted I kinda metagamed that one. He was riding the bench anyway - I was playing a 2HW and didn't have much cause to use him - and figured it was as good a chance as any to try out the "Hey, let's sell him" decision. Future games will probably treat him more fairly. As it stands, I was a total dick to him, granted my character wouldn't really have liked him or Anders much anyway. Rayin finds zealots incredibly frustrating, destabilizing, and counterproductive.
Still, he's in my main party for my second playthrough with Anders, so this should be fun.

As to not having a pre battle smex scene, who cares? We get a very hot and passionate talk and kiss that I kept reloading to see 10 times before I could actually go and finish the game.
I love how Fenris has a "hidden" passionate side.

Clarifying to those still asking: As far as I know after completing the game, you cannot get Fenris to move in with you.

Yeah I'm starting to hate "we should move on" like I hate "calibrations" in ME2.Uhh.. Jonah wrote...
I only talked to Fenris twice through my whole playthrough! D: Everytime I would go to his mansion he just says "we should keep moving" or something like that.

Oy!! It was worth replaying act 2 to get him up to 100 rivalry. Not the glowing slam against the wall scene, though- I take it that is for friendship path.

So what happened ont he rivalry path? I'm going to assume majority will get/go the friendship path so would be interesting to know the rivalry path does for the relationship.

For the bedroom scene, Hawke was the one who pushed him up against the wall. Not quite the same effect. But the scenes were still lovely. In the lead-up conversation he says "you and I don't always agree, but..." and you have to prompt him to go on. Other than that, I imagine it goes much the same as on the friendship path.Bluumberry wrote...

I took videos, but I feel a little strange posting vids of a game that just came out. If anyone really wants to see them, I'll put them up.
There was another surprise, but it's spoilery. Fair warning.
SPOILER FOR ROMANCE SCENE
After the bedroom scene, he says he can't continue the relationship because the memories of his former life started coming back, and he walks out. I'm guessing there'll be more but don't tell me, I want to find out on my own.
