I think the dialogue I picked was first "Just say something", and then when he did I picked the choice where she said thanks for trying to comfort her. Then he sat down next to her.

I haven't yet, but I do plan to do that as soon as I finish PT #2 with the mage.

Just restarted Act 2 because I thought I had done something wrong with Fenris when he "broke up" with me after the "doing it" scene. Come to find out he does that no matter what you say, so now I have to replay like a days worth of act 2... *facepalm* Fenris is such a confusing person to romance. lol.

I'm seeing a lot of people who also couldn't get him to move in. Has anyone successfully made this happen? Or is it a bug?

For anyone who hasn't finished yet not asking him to live with you doesn't hurt your romance. It still worked out for me. I just want to know how much extra content I missed out on.

Yes, I had this scene happen. He didn't exactly have much words of support but I accepted that's just the way he is. That whole part with hawke's mother was heartbreaking.

I think I'm going to just station myself in this thread considering how horrid the forums are exploding today with drama. Time to zone into Fenris happy land.  

What drama??  Anders rage?  I'm tempted to romance Anders on my 2nd pt, but I think I'm probably going to give in to Fenris again.  Drat that voice.  <3

It was nice that they added a comfort scene with the LI.  Something I was missing after moments like Tamlen returning for a Dalish, or killing Howe with a HN character.

I'm rivalmancing Fen with my MaleHawke. I'm in Act 2 and Fen just shoved my Hawke against a wall while his tatoos glowed. Of course my male Hawke had to answer by shoving him against the wall in return and ravaging him:wub:
I'm going to try to max out his rivalry to try and get him to side with the mages. I heard it only works when it's maxed. If not I guess I'll have to reload and side with the Templars. It's not such a hard choice when Fenris is on the line. Does anyone else think it's sexy when he shoves his fist in people's chests?

You can't bed Fenris in Act 1.

I did his companion quest in Act 3 last night.That look he gives you when you say the flirt line "you have me" made my fangirl heart melt~

This game has me going on an emotional roller coaster right now >.<

You can't bed Fenris in Act 1.

Did you flirt with him in Act 1? It helps set the romance, if you did.

the only option i got was to compliment his appearance at his house after his quest....nothing after that

Quetion for you guys:  Can you convince Fenris to side with the mages if you're at max rivalry (or friendship)?  I want to rival-mance him with my militant mage Hawke, and there's no way she's siding with the templars.

I had him at friend, and he sided with the mages with me. Didn't seem that upset about it at all.

Eh, but seriously, anyone has more tips for raising the friendship meter with him? Especially in Act 1?

I think I did everything I could(not pursuing romance with him btw). brought him to the slaver showdown, child killer encounter, qunari compound visit... but he still remains indifferent.

is the rivalmance really all that different than the friendshipmance? I really like his friendshipmance, I have a really hard time being mean to anyone. I managed to have Anders and Fen on the same team most of the time and managed to be friends with both of them (albeit, Anders is a lot lower and Fen is maxed out). The only character who has a rivalry with me is Merrill...

but I'm so like tempted to rivalmance Fen on my second playthrough instead of picking one of the other love interests XD

Did anyone listen to Fenris's theme song yet? It's sooooo pretty and suits his character well. You can hear it on youtube, I don't know if I'm allowed to post a link or not but it's easy to find.

I've noticed that people are starting to report on other threads that it is possible to be full rivalmance with Fenris and still keep him when siding with the mages. I wonder if it's a tricky dialogue at that point which makes or breaks this possibility. I really, really hope so, because the way I'm playing the game with my mage hawke, it's next to impossible to have Fenris on my team without constant bumps to Rivalry.

I was confused at the end exactly who I sided with! I friend-romanced Fenris, and the achievement that popped up said I defeated Meredith at the end, so I think that meant I sided with the mages. I never fought the templars though. I also killed Orisino and all of the mages (except Bethany). I'm just really confused. I was playing sort of a diplomat. Either way, Fenris stayed and seemed happy we were going to slaughter blood mages.

I am and Fenris came to the house to try to comfort my Hawke and sat next to him on the bed. So adorable. Also when you tell him he's not alone after the confrontation with Danarius, he gives you the most heartbreaking look, both sad and happy. I just wanted Hawke to cuddle him and make it all go away.

I didn't find it that difficult to be in a friendship romance with him even though my Hawke is a mage. I would've liked Fenris pushing Hawke against the wall though rather than vice versa, but ah well.

Yeah. My RP experience was intereseting. Mage Hawke who was so selfish she constantly sided with the Templars to gain their favor and turned in mages left and right regardless of their standing or innocence, so that the Chantry would turn a "blind" eye on her actions. Even Rival!Romanced Anders to keep an eye on the abomination, should she kill him last minute (He was useful to have around).

But after Anders destroyed the Chantry, she did a complete 180. Merrill and Anders who were 100% rivals were saved since she sided with the Mages, and since everyone else who likes Templars (namely Fenris & Aveline) were 100% Friendship, they trusted my decision.

Sebastian is the only one that went. But I get the impression that whatever you do, you will guarantee a character loss (Sebastian or Anders).

To gain friendship points with him, just always pull Fenris into your party during Mage related missions and think like a "templar". I typically had Fenris, Merrill, and Anders so I could double duty the Friendship / Rivalry bit. Racked them up quickly.

Fenris is my favourite character. Unfortunately, I kept disagreeing with his policy on mages while liking him as a person, so my Friendship/Rivalry meter never went anywhere. How do I get him to switch armor? When do the triggers for Friendship/Rivalry need to be set to enable the companion quests?
