I'm also completely stuck on Fenris's romance
Hawke, Varric, Merril, Isabela and Fenris crack me up 24/7. Hawke's "Ugh, painful." during Aveline's cracktastic
patrol

This has probably been asked, but has anyone had any luck convincing Fenris to move in with them?

I'm curious about this as well, but I think given the way the romance goes, this isn't possible with Fenris.

Quetion for you guys: Can you convince Fenris to side with the mages if you're at max rivalry (or friendship)? I want to rival-mance him with my militant mage Hawke, and there's no way she's siding with the templars.
Fenris can side with the mages, but only at max rivalry. Here's a link to a video of someone who did exactly that: www.youtube.com/watch
Oops. I meant he can side with mages with both friendship and rivalry, but on rivalry it MUST be maxed.TripLight wrote...

I got him to side with the Mages with a Mage Hawke, who romanced Anders, with Maxed Friendship.
You'll get companion quests regardless, I'm pretty sure. They're not dependent on the meter. However it seems there are some real advantages to spiking the meter early on. Not only will you miss out on the best combat perks for followers if you don't, the romance won't progress until they're at 50 and then 100. Doesn't matter if it's friendship or rivalry, just pick one and try to stick to it. Though I like the general idea of the system, it does feel somewhat artificial.magicwins wrote...
Fenris is my favourite character. Unfortunately, I kept disagreeing with his policy on mages while liking him as a person, so my Friendship/Rivalry meter never went anywhere. How do I get him to switch armor? When do the triggers for Friendship/Rivalry need to be set to enable the companion quests?

Hmm... Maybe I missed out on the requisite conversations because my meter wasn't high enough.... That would make sense.Addai67 wrote...

ah, that's my problem, I asked him if it was my fault.
Curiousity, is anyone else in this thread romancing Fen with a MaleHawke?

Quick question for you guys: on which romance track does Fenris push you against the wall, rivalry or friendship?
I've been reading this thread like crazy, but there are some conflicting posts. Just curious. ;D
I just checked my game where he was waiting for Hawke at her house. I had a friendship romance. Hawke was the aggressor (pushed him against the wall). He went with the flow. My dominant personality was green/peacekeeper. Not sure if purple or red personalities change things up.the_baroness wrote...

Don't see why not. Got armor changes for Anders and Merrill without romancing them.magicwins wrote...
Is it possible to finish Fenris' quests (get armor change) without romancing him?

I'm curious about this as well!
Edit: He was about 75% friend when this happened. No idea if that's a contributing factor.
