The wall pushy kiss thing where Fenris pushes Hawke? The only way I got it to initiate (on friendly path, please note) was during the dialogue directly after "A Bitter Pill" when you see him at Hawke's. Before he leaves, there should be a flirt option that is "Don't go." (or something along the lines of that). He'll light up and then back Hawke into a wall, they kiss quite enthusiastically, and then switch spots.

So do you sleep with him before or after his personal quest in act 2? I have really high friendship with him and just did the mid-stage questioning beliefs thing and when my character asked him if he wanted to be more than friends, he smiled and said maybe another evening...but then when I went back to my estate he wasn't there and when I left Kirkwall, there was no slaver ambush to start his quest...

Wall [sex] of that sort was definitely the rivalry romance.  He pushes.  Hawke kisses.  It's all history from there.

And seriously...  the inclusion of that scene (which I love beyond the telling of it) seriously has me believing some writers at bioware have been trolling the k!meme

Does anyone remember the picture of Fenris and femHawke that was released on valentines day??? when does that scene come up?and like...are there any other romantic related scenes after the one were you forgive him for leaving after you sleep with him (3 years later)?

After his personal quest in Act II. Questioning beliefs though? Did I miss a dialogue?

It was after you reach at least 50% friendship or rivalry with him in act 2. He tells you about how he escaped and all that. I think you have to have that conversation with him in order to romance him. I'm not sure though. So why is it not triggering his personal quest? Do I have to go to a specific place or do it at a specific time? I went to the wounded coast after I talked to him, but nothing happened.....

On a side note, has anyone gotten that little conversation with Isabela when she talks about you and Fenris? It is hilarious! I love her...she cracks me up...

You'll get companion quests regardless, I'm pretty sure.  They're not dependent on the meter.  However it seems there are some real advantages to spiking the meter early on.  Not only will you miss out on the best combat perks for followers if you don't, the romance won't progress until they're at 50 and then 100.  Doesn't matter if it's friendship or rivalry, just pick one and try to stick to it.  Though I like the general idea of the system, it does feel somewhat artificial.

So I'm kinda obsessed with Fenris. I have this tragic relationship with Anders that I can't shake up (kind of like it hurts so good....lol) but when I get a conversation with Fenris. I just stare. *sigh* He's gorgeous. I want MOAR!!!!! I'm playing two Lady Hawkes at the same time. I have yet to do a friendship romance. Rival-romance both Anders and Fenris. I like angry Fenris. Rawrrr.....

I'm wasn't a big fan of the new elven models or more like it took some time to get used to but it has never been the case with Fenris. He is a perfect looking one and his voice......

i got that with my femhawke....visiting fenris at beginning of act 2....isabella is there and when he says that, she gives him a look and says "so do i" and then leaves....thats it

Fenris rivalry romance is exhausting... enjoyable but exhausting. Im in a rival romance since im a mage Hawk and the constant put down of mages just some times get out of hand. If he didnt sound so sexy when he talked I'd just want to slap him. But I gotta have him! lol

Lol I found his rivalry romance to be fantastic, but also quite easy (I maxed out the rivalry meter halfway through Act 2). I was able to disagree with him constantly about mages but still sorta get along with him in conversations (and still avoiding friendly points even when I was being nice and supportive). Plus I happened to have him in the party every time I did a pro-mage thing in a quest. 

One thing I wanted to find out about before I start another playthrough... Does anyone know if you can get the romance with him without going for the "your so hawt" flirts at the beginning? I was wondering if you can just start flirting in Act 2 to get the romance, because I thought those Act 1 flirts were coming on too strong.

Why won't my game trigger his personal quest in act 2??? I talked to him already and gave him the first gift, but it won't trigger his personal quest! Do I have to go somewhere specific? Help!

The guide suggests starting the romance in Act 2, Minxie, so it appears that is indeed possible.

I just did Alone. Over and over again. :wub:

Oh, and Anders trying to talk you out of dating him!  Loved that.  Nothing like two men fighting over you.

I'm not sure what the trigger is exactly, but stuff seemed to happen when I started doing the Qunari quests (Gunpowder Courtesy).  Then the ambush triggered when I was going to the Wounded Coast to do Aveline's quest.  That happened in both my first run and my replay.

The Fenris' scenes are HOT and passionate. How did Bioware mangaed to do that in a game, beats the hell out of me, but seriously. Awesome~!!!!

I'd like to think the guide is wrong - no one as I have read has gotten him to move in yet. I haven't either.

you need to just travel outside kirkwall....it will trigger when you go to places outside th city

How did you get that?  I think there's been some debate as to how to get Fenris to do the pushing.

I had an aggressive/direct Hawke (mostly red dialogue options) who rival-manced him, and she told him to "Shut up" and then pushed him against the wall.
