I want Fenris to do the pushing. Guys. Tell me. How. Please.
I guess it depends on your definition? Fenris was the one who went all glowy and pushed Hawke against the wall, and she responded by going in for a kiss while grabbing him to reverse their positioning and was then the person pushing him against the wall. I'm not going to lie, that scene was smokin' and not awkward at all. I figured I'd prefer his romance, but damn. The writing for their lines is great and I liked the slow build-up. It wasn't melodramatic, which I seriously dislike in whatever depiction it pops up in.
I was over 50 on the friendship path and had given him the book gift beforehand, though I don't know if that affects anything.

Oh thank god you can do it on a friendmance. Thank you for confirming! Need to find that damn book now ...
Sure thing
It's in this random sack in the alienage, but only at night. His second gift in Act III is in a chest at the secret meeting place during the Best Served Cold quest.

I finally got to sleep with Fenris and it was HOT! haha I got the scene where he glows and pushes me up against the wall and then we switch...LOVED it!<3:wub: But then he told me about the memories coming back and left....
How did you get that? I think there's been some debate as to how to get Fenris to do the pushing.
I had an aggressive/direct Hawke (mostly red dialogue options) who rival-manced him, and she told him to "Shut up" and then pushed him against the wall.
I'm not sure exactly what makes him do it. I had 100% friendship with him and I did the Questioning Beliefs conversation and his side quest and I gave him his first gift. Then I was just nice to him and flirted with him. When my character asked him not to go, he started glowing and pushed me against the wall and started kissing me...Throughout the game, I just did what got friendship points with him - never rivalry and anytime I had any dialogue, I made sure to do all the investigation questions and all the flirt options...I hope that helps...

Does that bother anyone else? You'd think he'd at least get rid of the bodies. Or they would have decayed after 6 years...

Those are the choices I made, anyways. I'll have to play through again to see if it works the same way.

I have no idea how to get him to move in. The last conversation I had with him was the apology for walking out that night 3 years before. Then I picked the "stay with me" option. I thought it meant like, come move in with me, but he stayed in his mansion filled with corpses.

It's annoying, it says in the guide but everyone has not had that option, although I have seen a few errors within the guide itself? I want him to live with meeeee
I want to rivalmance him in another playthrough but I dont want to side with templars like EVER,

There was one thing that bothered me. Most of the other companions seemed to have more fleshed out or additional quests compared to Fenris. Did any of you seem to notice this or am I crazy? May be it's because he can be an optional companion?

Regarding the scene where Fenris comes and pushes Hawke against the wall (HAWTNESS...), it has to do with the choices you make during "The Bitter Pill" mission. When the option for him to decide comes up, choose that, then when the flirt option comes up, choose that one. When he shows up at the house, he apologizes for storming off, etc. Eventually, during the conversation you will get the chance to say "Don't go", which is another flirt option.
Those are the choices I made, anyways. I'll have to play through again to see if it works the same way.
I was assuming from people's experiences that wether or not that scene occurs depends on what you did during that quest. I can't remember what I did but I didn't get the "glowy push against the wall" version.
And now I'm torn on my second playthrough: Do I choose a hot scene where he glows and pushes me against the wall, or do I choose the scene where he says one of his hottest lines in the game and we start snogging? Sigh I'll prolly cave in do the glowy version, just because he has many other hot lines that make me all hot and bothered.

I got the glowy push against the wall - isn't that just friendmance? I'm so confused :*(
Also, I never got the scene where he buys that bottle of beer/whatever and asks you about whether or not you'd move back to Ferelden etc.

I've been reading this thread for the last couple of days and it was só frustrating that I couldn't post in this forum. I'm happy that all of you are having fun with the game and I was really jealous. xD
Can't wait to play it.. but first i have to install all the driver/texture pack nonsense. -.-

The guide suggests starting the romance in Act 2, Minxie, so it appears that is indeed possible.
I just did Alone. Over and over again.
Oh, and Anders trying to talk you out of dating him! Loved that. Nothing like two men fighting over you.
Wait when was this???

I actually originally assumed it was a rivalry path thing.
But no, whether or not that scene will occur is dependant on what dialogue choices you make during his personal quest from the looks of things.
