How do you get the Anders confrontation scene?

In Anders' personal quest, when you go into the sewer to find pee and poo for him.  I'm not sure if you have to bring Fenris along or not.  I had him with me 24/7.

I did my first playthrough with fenris as rogue, loved the romance, better than i imagined. I want to play a mage next, tempting to do fenris but going to go with Anders.

But i want to see how fenris is with me being a mage...

I think Anders always had a thing for Hawke even if you don't romance him. He came on to me in the beginning even though I never flirted and I got rivalry points for turning him down. From then on I always got a jealousy vibe from him when it came to Fenris.

I'm romancing Fenris in my second playthrough, and we had "sex" after he pushed me up against the wall, etc. That one screenie we first got when the romances were all announced, where it shows Fenris in the foreground with no shirt on, and default Lady Hawke in the background with no shirt on... Does that scene ever take place in the actual game? It didn't happen in mine. Yet.

Anders came onto me too! I can;t remember what Fenris said, something like "watch it mage"

Loved first playthrough, just didnt manage to make Merril, Seb and Isabella friends or rivals (Isabella ran off0

Never used her though.

Can someone clarify about Fenris moving in? I'm in Act 3 and I got the "Stay with me" line, but when I go back to the estate he's not there. I completed the Anders romance first, and he moved in without a hitch - does Fenris just like his crappy mansion too much?

Fenris never moves in.  I think the "Stay with me" line is more like "Don't run off and leave me because I care about you" than "move in with me"

Thanks!  Someone in another thread said Merrill was the only one that doesn't move in, so I was confused.

Merrill does move in. She just doesn't move all her stuff in, because she's secretly working on the mirror back at her place. She moves in a flower in a vase.

I think it happens, just not exactly the way the screenshot showed. It appears that was just an edited screenshot of the scene where Fenris comes to Hawke's mansion, right when Hawke is about to say "don't go" - edited to make them look naked, that is. It's the same with that one M!Hawke/Merrill screenshot.

Yes, I thought that too.  Especially with the "I never understood what Hawke sees in you" banter.

Yes, I thought that too.  Especially with the "I never understood what Hawke sees in you" banter.

I felt so bad for Anders when I turned him down. I wish I could've had the "There's someone else..." option to say, not the curt, angry-faced "I don't want you thinking about me that way."

Yay could finally register my game so I can post here and indulge in more hilarity Fenris stuff. Such an awesome elf, dat voice, dat glare, dat attitude. Seriously, he is one of the most interesting and better romances Bioware has pulled off.

I need to find where he tells Anders to watch it though, haha. I did the confrontration between Anders and fenris, and though I cant remember what Fenris exactly said, I can't recall anything about Anders watching it. Or maybe he did. I may have been too busy giggling to have noticed. >.>

I've seen at least two times in the game now that Fenris is VERY jealous. 8D T'is awesome. I'm surprised he isn't literally hitting people.

No, I only found one, and it wasn't until almost the end of the game.

Hi. First post! I am in Act 2 and playing a f!hawke rogue. Naturally my party build became Aveline, Anders, and then Fenris. I took them to a lot of quests together and they seem like polar opposites. I want to cap Aveline's friendship and Fenris typically shares the same feelings, and that leaves Anders in the other side. he's almost capped rivalry and I just started Act 2 hehe.

I forgot to make a save so I could explore this conversation tree, but this was how my version went down with Fenris in the group.

Anders: "Are you sure about Fenris? He seems less a man to me than a wild dog."
Hawke: [Don't call him that.] (missed what she said, sorry.)
Anders: "I know as much as I'm ever likely to."
Fenris: (Steps up besides Hawke) "That's right, mage."
Anders: "He has let one bad experience color his whole world. Surely, you want someone more open-minded."
 (Walks away.)
Fenris: (Looks at Hawke) "A mage and a hypocrite. What company you keep."

Most of us still burried our head in the playthrough, but we all agree Fenris' voice was just .............(lost in words)....

TGP certainly did a good job picking.

Back to the topic, you do need to be careful which party to bring when doing the quest. Act I might be alright, but from ACII try avoided taken Fenris on Mage related quest if you are on rilvary quest. Believe me, TGP said about the hook for a reason.....
