But! I don't know if it's just a glitch, but he continues wearing his red scarf and the Amell crest even after my Lady Hawke moved on. And he also got the banter in which Merrill teases him for looking at Hawke with big puppy eyes and being in love with her. I posted these in the Anders thread, but these banters with Anders about it are so sad and adorable:
Anders: You were an idiot to leave Hawke
Fenris: And you were fast enough to replace me.
Anders: I love her. You have no idea what that means.
Fenris: Do not bare your heart to me, mage, unless you would have me rip it out.
Fenris: You... are living with Hawke now?
Anders: What of it?
Fenris: Be good to her. Break her heart, and I will kill you.
These are SO SQUEE. I think I'm going to go back and give Fenris a Hawke for real this time now, once I know exactly how to get the "glowy kiss".

That's interesting...I like either option, though. They are both hot. I guess it depends on whether you prefer the physical hot or the verbal hot, though. I dunno, they are both sexy to me haha. I just can't get enough of him.Minxie18 wrote...
I think the differences show with the things Fenris says, how angry he is, and so on. I dunno if it's a rivalry/friend thing, or if It's affected by how you react at the end of A Bitter Pill when he kills Hadriana. I was on the rivalry path and my Hawke said he shouldn't have killed her after swearing he wouldn't, and I got this scene at the mansion afterwards (low quality unfortunately - just threw the vid together a few minutes ago) Compare it to this example, for instance, and you can see how it's different. In mine he's much angrier and bitter sounding, and Hawke says slightly different things too.Auresta wrote...

This have probably been discussed already but is there a difference from the glowy-wall scene when you play rival-mance compared to friendship-mance?
I got the glowy wall scene but I was on the friendship route. So I'm not sure how someone exactly affects the difference.
Something annoying I noticed is that no matter how many times I reload that scene in the game I keep seeing Fenris' head tilted the wrong way right after he pushes her and while they kiss. I dunno why that happens!(Edit: Is that actually supposed to happen in the rivalmance? Lol that would make me feel better rather than thinking my game glitched.) Something I also noticed that went wrong in both those videos is that brief second where Fenris appears to be floating several feet off the ground.
Also, I found that on my rivalry romance you can get the glowy wall-push kiss or the other kiss where he says something like "I've been thinking about you for the last few days. I can't think about anything else" right before it. I reloaded a save to see for myself. I had already done the Questioning Beliefs part in Act 2, then I did the Bitter Pill quest. Fenris stormed off and I found him at her mansion. There you can either pick the flirt where she stops him from leaving and he glows and pushes her, or you can let him leave. If you let him leave, you can come back to the mansion later and he'll show up again for the other, non-glowy kiss. I haven't been able to confirm this myself, but others have also said that if you haven't done the Questioning Beliefs talk before doing A Bitter Pill, then you will always get the non-glowy kiss.
On a side note - I had the same wierd thing where his face is turned wrong and it looks like he is kissing her cheek and she is kissing his chin or something - it wasn't just your game. However, I don't recall him looking like he was floating off the ground....

My question is, just saw a youtube video where Fenris asked for forgiveness for storming off after the deed 3 years ago.
I just completed "Alone" and went to his house but he has nothing to say to me. I'm not at 100% friendship yet. Did I miss something?

Has anyone else gotten other party members to talking about Hawke's love life? I've only seen the one with Anders talking about Fen and Varric talking about Anders on youtube. I just got a scene with Isabela making a lil innuendo about Fenris and bondage.
Merrill does, she said something in both my Anders and Fenris playthroughs.
Fenris: What? Why are you looking at me like that?
Merrill: You're in love!
Fenris: I am not.
Merrill: You keep looking at Hawke with sad puppy eyes every time his back is turned.
Fenris: There are no puppy eyes.
Merrill: It's all right, you know. Even you can be happy once in a while. It won't kill you. But your face might crack if you smile, so be careful.
Such a romantic xD

I have a problem. I missed Fenris recruting-quest before the expedition can i still get him or do i have to load an older save?
If the letter for the quest "Bait and Switch" still shows up, I believe so. If not, you're out of luck.

Alone is the last quest isn't it? I'm not sure what you did wrong..

I've posted it as a bug because I've done everything else correctly.
Edit: Whoops realised I meant I had Lellandra's problem, not ScaryJeffs. I've got Fenris, he just doesn't play ball re: the whole Act 3 romance thing.
Jerk.

ScaryJeff - I have exactly the same problem and it is really, really, really annoying. I was stupid enough to reload my only pre-Act 3 save (midway through Act 2) to try and see if I did something wrong, played all the way through to the Act 3 "Alone" quest again and still nothing, regardless of if his sister dies or not and even if I answer with the 'You have me" option.
I've posted it as a bug because I've done everything else correctly.
Well he had left you before you did Alone, right?

Visit his mansion again to see Aveline and Varric trying to convince Fenris to find a better place to live. Hawke has the option of inviting him to stay with her/him. While he does not show up at the Hawke Mansion like other love interests, he will still be "moved in".
here is a link:dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/Fenris
According to wiki this episode should happen in act3 after the "forgiveness" quest completed and elf and Hawke together again. After reading it I tried everything with zero effect. Scene with Varric and Aveline do to trigger no matter what.
I do not know where poster got this info, guide or not, but it look like one missing pice that needed to make this romance look whole.
Look like Merrill and mirror glitch.

Worth it how? It's definitely doable as a romance if that is what you are asking. I ended my first playthrough with him as a MageFemHawke.

Maybe Mr. Gaider would be so kind to tell us what's tied under Fenris's red wrist ribbon?
Guys there's nothing tied under it (or if there is we don't see it). The thing you see on the screenshot is a piece of his armor from the side >>
I would instead like to know the significance of the ribbon itself.

Don't know how you could miss that scene, since it's his forgiveness+get back together scene.

I almost find it hard to believe that because when he doesn't have that ribbon there his arm does not look like that. Unless they just messed up with rendering the ribbon there :<

Don`t get me wrong, I got this forgiveness scene with kiss and all. But I never got the Varrik+Aveline scene after forgiveness one in the mansion that should led to "move together" according to wiki.Bluumberry wrote...

here is a full text:
Visit Fenris at his mansion to follow up. He will ask for Hawke's forgiveness for ending the relationship in Act II and Hawke has the option to forgive him, thus continuing the romance.

This is two separate scenes as it look.

Edit: This is where it all falls apart for me:
Afterward, he will lament that is alone and Hawke can tell him that he has her/him. Fenris will once again temporarily leave the party. (He doesn't leave the party at all for me, just a loading screen and we're all outside the Hanged Man)Visit Fenris at his mansion to follow up. He will ask for Hawke's forgiveness for ending the relationship in Act II and Hawke has the option to forgive him, thus continuing the romance.

The Varric and Aveline scene led straight into the forgiveness and get back together/kiss scene, but I never got any 'move in' option. Though it seemed that is what that scene would be leading up to, since it is about how his home is a dump xD
