Fenris: Is there a point to this story?
Isabella: Hold on I'm getting to it.

... I had a long night. I made a boo-boo when I went to go clean out my saves yesterday afternoon before I wrapped up the game because they were driving me over the edge and got a little delete happy. *Glances at my poor, poor original mage Hawke who no longer exists with sad eyes*.
So somehow, on casual, I managed to make it all up in about a day and a half. Even though I totally kept getting distracted by the Black Emporium, got more side-quests and minor things done, and skipped only a bit of dialogue. And I just did the last conversation with Fenris before the final battle and all I can say is:

Oh yeah, and... *SPOILER! Highlight please!*
"GODDAMMIT ANDERS! I was trying to stay neutral, you ass, and then you blew up the friggin' Chantry, and now they're forcing me to make a decision!" *Reloads from save before the big decision between Templars and Mages and makes an extra save*

Okay quick question! I've been romancing Fenris, and am in Act 3. I did the Alone quest, got him to spare his sister and then told him he had me. Apparently he's supposed to stalk off and I invite him to live with me but... he never did.
Have I messed up somewhere?
He never physically lives with you. If that's a problem in the game or a problem with the multiple guides posted, I don't know. You ddin't do anything wrong.

Hence, why it is now part of my sig. If ever there was a time when I wanted to reach through a screen to throttle someone...

I know he doesn't, but aren't you still supposed to offer? It says that after "Alone" I'm supposed to go find him and Aveline and Varric will be convincing him to live somewhere else. I'm doing the freindship path.

After he stalks off, go to his mansion. That should start another scene?

See, I knew there had to be more reasons to why I didn't care for Anders and wasn't happy he was brought back... it must have been a deep down gut feeling, especially after he was announced, that I had that I was now going to go from "Meh... don't really care for you." to "WTFH, you freak?! Go away... Gooo away! Far, far away!"
Exception to that actually made me go, "WTFH?! Goddammit Anders, you are TOTALLY dying!"

So you got him to spare his sister - sister leaves commenting on how Fenris chose his (way of) life. You tell Fenris he has you, he looks at you, then turns away and says you guys have to get out of here because he doesn't want to stay any longer.
That second part is him stalking off.

I prefer the friendship path. Then again, my Lady Hawke who's for Fenris was a bit of a badass, and she wouldn't go for the whole him pushing her up against the wall thing.
I'll stick with this.
It is sweet, a little sad- ok, a lot sad- that he comments on Hawke's touch, considering that touch was always a negative thing for him. It's such a primal need and since he did have a mother who (presumably) cared for him, he would have latent memories of that and must have been craving it.
I'm a little frustrated that I thought we got less of the companions in DA2 than in Origins, and over a ten year time span I was hoping we would get more. I think I'd have preferred it if the stuff with Danarius resolved earlier and the later interaction was about Fenris changing as a person. I guess the fact that he can let someone close to him at all is already a bigger change than most of the companions have to go through.

That's gorgeous. And clothes are overrated.
Thank you! =>
Yes... yes, they are. Especially on him.
Anyhow, I just started flirting with Fenris /w my M!Hawke*Mage. The banter between the two is mmm, so nice.
I also like when Fenris laughs when Hawke says something about redecorating the walls. So endearing.

I figured this one out, actually. You only get this scene if you lost Isabela in Act 2. If you lost her, you'll get Varric and Aveline pressuring Fenris to move. If you kept her, you'll get Isabela encouraging him to go down something crazy and freeing.
He ignores both of them, of course, it's what he does

I agree.
I cried when Mama Hawke died. Not just because it was sad, but the shocked expression on my beautiful Hawkette's face before that fight was... unforgettable. And not in a good way.
Her time with Fenris completely made up for that though-- whoever did his facial animation was right on top of it and did an amazing job.
Favorite one: Before the last battles.
Hawke: (Aggressive option to Fenris about him asking her not to die) I don't plan on dying.
Fenris: (Amazing facial expression + voice) You better not. (Kisses Hawke).
That just melted me into a puddle of goo. Must replay that section-- try different responses! *RELOAD!*

Nope, I lost Isabela and still didn't get it. I think it has to be a Friendship-only thing? Because I just found it on YouTube and it starts the forgiveness dialogue, but he's clearly on the Friendship path. The Rivalry version starts with him alone, pacing (love when he uses the Tevinter... mmm).RosaAquafire wrote...

I loved that look too. My favorite version of that dialogue is the top option, but they're all fairly equally hot.Madame Rose Crimsynn wrote...

I kept waiting for a comical pan to Carver after they started that intense making out and him going, "Did I miss something?"

Don't take my word for it or shoot the messenger, it's all hearsay to me and I never used Isabella much with my first Hawke (between her, Varric and Sebastian, there was too many Rogues on the Dance Floor) so I never got to hear this conversation.

Wow, really? I do remember her clearly giving him the eye in one of the scenes, but it never occurred to me that it would go anywhere. Didn't one of the devs say at some point that none of the companions would ever romance each other?Meta Ray Mek wrote...
So I heard on a LJ community that if you're not romancing Fenris, he and Isabella supposedly hook up...?

I was hoping Carver and Isabela would hook up before he left, personally. They had some serious heat between them in their dialogues. The one where she calls him a puppy about to grow into his fangs especially. ::cackle::

O_o Really?
So if I do my Rogue!Hawkette that I plan to be with Sebastian, Isabela takes Fenris?
... I feel like I can't allow that. I don't know why. It's like Velanna and Nathaniel again... it doesn't process properly in my brain. Why...?

There's a lot of flirtatious dialogue between the two, I dunno if they actually hook up but it seems plausible to me from their banter.
