Oh, sorry if I misunderstood you. I too find it funny the two of the have a fling everyone needs a little live once in a while, especially Fenris, since he's been too alone for too long time.

I just thought that initially it was another speculation created by people out of some silly banter which didn't really mean anything

Something else, I took Fenris with me on the quest that's about the Qunari mage. Fenris is really interesting during that quest. He gives some remarks about being a slave and that sort of things, but it was strange that you get no friendship/rival points at all.. or maybe that's just me.

Well, it is clear that Isabela tries to hit on him...I even had the "shackles joke" cut-scene and she is clearly appreciating Fenris' body. But that Fenris could accept to sleep with her...this still puzzles me, I would like to read the banter, I'm not getting it for sure in my next playthroughs :°D

Yes, that's what I thought strange. It just seems a little too out of his character to carry past banter to a more physical level. I haven't seen this banter myself so I couldn't say, but I too would like to see it

I have to admit, I was originally really disappointed with the male LIs. I didn't like the look of Anders or something and his personality wasnt any better. I truly had a love/hate relationship with Fenris, once I decided to romance him. I was playing Hawke as a mage, so I was making a lot of mage-friendly decisions. It was a little weird and annoying to have Fenris constantly complaining about mages, especially after have being with Hawke for years, he couldnt possibly admit it wasnt ALL mages that are bad? But he was devoted and needed help. I was determined to change his mind about mages. How like a woman to try to fix a man But Fenris gets better, and at the end, he makes some comments about fighting for mages, if you side with the mages, and the strange places Hawke takes him to, so he does start to get better it seems. Anders... got a knife in his side. What an awful person. Leave it to BioWare to make characters, both good and bad, that really evoke strong reactions from people

No, it was funny, but it was also a bit heartbreaking.  My Hawke had romanced him, and when he left, Hawke turned to Anders.  So when that banter came, it was surprising, funny, and made me a little jealous as well.  

Edit: I couldn't quote the banter word for word, but he does ask her if she had expected him to send her flowers, which she most definitely did not.

No, if neither is romanced, they DO get together and talk about it in a banter.  It's also obvious in the banter that it's just sex, but I thought it was funny.

So evil... the writers know that kind of thing induces a special brand of fangirl/ fanboy crazy.

I find it hard to believe that Fenris would trust her enough.  Her macking on him, totally believable.

And I realized that early on Carver seemed more cordial with Fenris than he was with most of the other teammates, he was asking him questions and making conversation without being sarcastic or short with him. The banters with Carver are hilarious.  Varric gives him such a hard time.  Fenris, too, but especially Varric.  And he flirts with Merrill and gets all flustered.

Yes, but Anders creates a magical feces nuke!  Packing him off to the Templars makes sense!  (I didn't, but the jerk deserves it).

Fenris did nothing wrong....my poor tortured slave.

Ugh... just saw those screencaps. Bad bad bad. The worst is that he just slumps and accepts it rather than going all glowy crazy and taking Hawke's head off in the bargain. Reminded me of how he said that Danarius kept him chained like a saarebas to mock the Qunari custom.

Well, that's merely a matter of perspective.  From where I myself as a player stand, everyone irks me to the exception of  Varric with their view points (ie, most of them are giant hypocrites).  On the stand point of an extreme pro-mage kind of character, sending someone who blankets all mages as being evil monsters despite any effort to get him to think otherwise packing could be justified.  Does it make it right?  No.  All a matter of perspective, though.  Also, notice that Anders never took his rage out against Fenris for any reason, and if you choose to keep Anders alive, he does not object to Fenris's presence.  I admired Fenris being able to sort of get over the whole ordeal for a little while to help Hawke fight, but I'm sure he left her afterwards to get the hell out of the dogfight Anders and Hawke have started, with his opinions about mages still intact.  Don't blame him, either.

Don't worry, I'm not hating on him.  He, like many others, do make rare, valid points.  I plan on romancing him in my next playthrough.

Hah, sorry, I can't.  when I saw it, I was too busy feeling punched in the gut (AHHHHH) to think about transcribing it!  But it was funny.  The circumstances -- he left, my mage turned to Anders, Anders starts getting weird, and then hearing that was, well, disconcerting!  But it made such sense.  It had been three years; he SHOULD at least get sex!

My last playthrough, I maxed out Anders rival gauge so fast, my head spun. Fenris wasn't even to full friend when Anders was pissed off and thinking I was a mage-hating ****. >.>; Then again, I was a rouge and needed a healer...and was making a lot of 'pro-templar' actions...

I really don't know how to feel about the Fenris/Isabela thing. I truly actually loved how they would flirt back and forth, but then actually having sex just seems bizarre. Fenris avoids physical touch. I always got the feeling the reason he enjoyed sex with Hawke was because of their emotional connection. Fenris and Isabela are staunchly bros, but I definitely wouldn't say they have any sort of emotional connection that could overcome Fenris's aversion to being touched.

I have no issues with two party members hooking up. I actually think that sounds awesome and hilarious, lol, Fenris being receptive to Isabela's flirting was always so fun, and we know that he's a breast man! I like the IDEA of them having a little fling, but I just can't see him DOING it. I mean, he was a virgin (to the best of his knowledge) before Hawke -- or Isabela, in that case -- so it's not like he scratched the itch often. When he slept with Hawke, it definitely seemed that he was looking for intimacy, not pleasure. It's just weird! I'd really like to have some writers explain the logic behind this because I think it would help me understand Fenris better.

Someone was asking about Sebastian and Fenris a few pages ago, and actualy -- these were some of my favourite banters with Fenris! I LOVED Fenris's whole thing with religion. I really got the feeling that he LOVED the idea of having something to believe in, and he WANTED to believe in the teachings of the Chantry so, so badly, but he has such trust issues and he can't understand why the Maker would create a world where things like his life could happen. I get the feeling that Sebastian eventually managed to convert Fenris. It seemed like it was well on its way to happening. And I'm really glad, too. If somebody needs something to believe in, it's Fenris
