Fenris might have sought out carnal attachment without any strings attached.  By the way that he talked to her, that's most certainly the case.  And she is hot, not gonna lie.

It doesn't accord with my assumption that physical touch was a big deal, but that was just my assumption... obviously need to adjust that.

I feel like we got a lot less with these characters than the Origins NPCs so it's harder to "get" them.

Thats whats confusing me, he makes a fuss about it, and after the deed runs off cos the deed brough back memories, would that not be the case for doing it with anyone regardless?

Even if it is rebound? Just seems unlike Fenris.....

Well, I finally completed the game. I romanced Fenris of course! I LOVED IT! Fenris is the sexiest CG character i have ever worked with. GO BioWare! Image IPB

I've got to admit, I'm a Fenris fangirl. Hopefully I'm on the right path to do the romance correctly...keeping my fingers crossed! I'm only halfway through Act 2 at this point.

I never had any trouble resisting Anders, and now that I've finished the game... I don't think I'd ever be able to do his romance for reals.  Maybe once through just to see it, but holy jihad Batman, he makes Morrigan look like a sweet little thing.

I'm wondering if the memories come back due to the entanglment being some more than just physical.  Emotions needed to be involved.

I do feel like we got less of these characters in some ways and more in others.

I think his memory was triggered because of the emotional tie to Hawke. If he and Isa are just bumping uglies to get there rocks off I doubt it would mess with his memory.

Yeah that's the trouble I'm having on this PT.  I want to do the Anders romance at least once just to witness it for myself and not have to resort to youtube videos.  But I have to admit, it's been really really hard to pick those flirt options and follow through.

Perhaps it's an amount of emotion? When there are very strong emotions he might have a kind of "breakthrough". The "romance scene" with Hawke, and then seeing his sister.
Whether you go through rivalry or friendship with him, there would probably be some emotion there. With Isabela, there might be nothing. Just sort of "eh, in the middle". He doesn't hate her but he doesn't love her. So there would be no "memory response".
Or... something? Image IPB

That's what I think.  It's the emotional closeness which triggered it, not so much the sex.  I think it's at that point when he falls in love with Hawke.  When they made love, his defenses just dropped and the feelings just started flooding through.

Yep, totally agree here.  Up until that point, he'd only had his hate fueling him.  He'd been emotionally distant.  The floodgates, so to speak, opened when he finally gave in to feeling something.

Ok, let me get this straight.

Act 2...FLIRT! Get Aveline's quest, take Fen with you, trigger HIS quest, then flirt more to get things started? I'm in act two high on the friend scale, and he has GOT to do something besides smile all sexy like...

-snip-

Because Anders is doing that sad puppy "i need somewhere safer to stay" thing, and it's really hard to resist him.

YAAAAAAY, Jess! Been hoping to see you over here!

No idea how your game will go. In my first playthrough, I took all the flirt options in Act 1. This playthrough, I'm holding off until Act 2. Just to see. From what I know of you based on your Alistair and Zevran squee, you're really going to dig Fenris so stick with him -- you'll get a bigger squee going on! ;)

When it comes to fangirls like myself, the obvious doesn't exactly come through. I like Isabela, she's cool (despite her being a floozy) but when she starts touching Fenris, I'm all a rage  but all that does make sense. I'm just so attached to this elf that romancing Anders or Sebastian is gonna be harder (since I've only had two playthroughs, both romancing Fenris, friendship then rival)

I did his first, and I will soooo do it again. It's beautifully done and youtube just doesn't do it justice. err no pun intended:?

I'm having more trouble with Fenris, and if I don't figure it out soon I'll go have Anders again:P

I'm glad Fenris only sleeps with Isabella if you're not romancing him.  otherwise my Hawke would need to get tested :bandit:

Well some people are arguing it's just his armor - and I don't see why it would be Hawke's hair if you could have a starkwhite-headed Hawke.. and how he got that lock, I'll never fathom.

Easily. He stole borrowed Hawke's murder knife without permission (temporarily, Murder Knife Cultists, just temporarily! Don't kill the elf, please!) and dared to cut off a little bit of Hawke's hair as she slept.

Slightly off-topic, I noticed that actually one of the sets of shoes that you can buy in Black Emporium are actually elf style shoes... Sandals of the Mystic, I believed they're called. I'm using those with the Champion armor over the obviously better-stat Champion boots. Stupid me and my preference of my character's armor's aesthetics...

Hi there! Fen's voice is...holy crap. KILLING ME. It's right up there with Gorim, and Zev when he says "And you should have stayed in Antiva..."   I am screenshotting like mad. :P I should be doing classwork but...

Anders even has a talk with Isabela about it at some point. Not party banter, just a random encounter at the clinic. Isa gave my Hawke a death glare as she passed. Image IPB

Edit: holyhell, that screenshot made me burst a lung, trying to hold in the wtfgiggles. Image IPB
