It doesn't accord with my assumption that physical touch was a big deal, but that was just my assumption... obviously need to adjust that.RinjiRenee wrote...
Fenris might have sought out carnal attachment without any strings attached. By the way that he talked to her, that's most certainly the case. And she is hot, not gonna lie.

I feel like we got a lot less with these characters than the Origins NPCs so it's harder to "get" them.
I never had any trouble resisting Anders, and now that I've finished the game... I don't think I'd ever be able to do his romance for reals. Maybe once through just to see it, but holy jihad Batman, he makes Morrigan look like a sweet little thing.Lady Jess wrote...
Because Anders is doing that sad puppy "i need somewhere safer to stay" thing, and it's really hard to resist him.

Thats whats confusing me, he makes a fuss about it, and after the deed runs off cos the deed brough back memories, would that not be the case for doing it with anyone regardless?
Even if it is rebound? Just seems unlike Fenris.....

Perhaps it's an amount of emotion? When there are very strong emotions he might have a kind of "breakthrough". The "romance scene" with Hawke, and then seeing his sister.ZombieGeisha wrote...

Whether you go through rivalry or friendship with him, there would probably be some emotion there. With Isabela, there might be nothing. Just sort of "eh, in the middle". He doesn't hate her but he doesn't love her. So there would be no "memory response".
Or... something?
Edit: Fack,

Edit: Fack,
That's what I think. It's the emotional closeness which triggered it, not so much the sex. I think it's at that point when he falls in love with Hawke. When they made love, his defenses just dropped and the feelings just started flooding through.

Ok, let me get this straight.
Act 2...FLIRT! Get Aveline's quest, take Fen with you, trigger HIS quest, then flirt more to get things started? I'm in act two high on the friend scale, and he has GOT to do something besides smile all sexy like...
-snip-
Because Anders is doing that sad puppy "i need somewhere safer to stay" thing, and it's really hard to resist him.

When it comes to fangirls like myself, the obvious doesn't exactly come through. I like Isabela, she's cool (despite her being a floozy) but when she starts touching Fenris, I'm all a rageBluumberry wrote...

Yeah that's the trouble I'm having on this PT. I want to do the Anders romance at least once just to witness it for myself and not have to resort to youtube videos. But I have to admit, it's been really really hard to pick those flirt options and follow through.

Well some people are arguing it's just his armor - and I don't see why it would be Hawke's hair if you could have a starkwhite-headed Hawke.. and how he got that lock, I'll never fathom.

No idea how your game will go. In my first playthrough, I took all the flirt options in Act 1. This playthrough, I'm holding off until Act 2. Just to see. From what I know of you based on your Alistair and Zevran squee, you're really going to dig Fenris so stick with him -- you'll get a bigger squee going on!

I did his first, and I will soooo do it again. It's beautifully done and youtube just doesn't do it justice. err no pun intended:?
I'm having more trouble with Fenris, and if I don't figure it out soon I'll go have Anders again:P

But they have mages for that!graciegrace wrote...
I'm glad Fenris only sleeps with Isabella if you're not romancing him. otherwise my Hawke would need to get tested
