...I probably just have a horrible sense of humor but I think that's hilariously awkward and adorkable on Hawke's part.

It was hilariously awkward but it was all I could think of when I thought of them xD Took me a while to get back into the romance, but I found Fenris and his nutella smear beardy Hawke too cute together not to continue. I just chalked that up to another one of sarcastic Hawke's many... charms.

Oh I agree. The romance scenes in this game are sooo much better and fit so well!
What I meant was that it would of been extra smexy if fenris moaned a little after you slammed him against the wall and agressively make out.

Rivalmance and Friendmance (those look weird to me) are basically the same, but there are enough differences to keep them unique. The glowy-kiss before talk in rival can be so angry, especially with my b!tch warden who would say things that would just incite him (oh, he was yelling so much, absolutely furious, as opposed to the friendly where he sounded sad and wounded). The kisses are slightly different. But the romance goes along the same paths. Those don't change.

There's more passion for sure in the rivalmance. But the friendmance is so much sweeter. Pick your poison. They're both beautiful.

Edit: Ooooh, his reactions to the gifts are also different if he's a rival as opposed to a friend.  A rival not in a romance, though, yeh, worth romancing Anders and have a rival relationship with Fenris to see those.  It makes sense, too; the gifts are so personal.

Just means that there's probably lots of outtakes of the VAs giggling in the middle of trying to sound passionate.
It's too bad not many games have outtakes available for watching. I always love seeing what's going on behind the scenes.  and what silly messups people have.

I love angry Fenris so much. <3 I wish Hawke could respond just as angrily in those conversations where Fenris is just really wound up and going off on her. In my first playthrough my FemHawke always sounded so composed and controlled arguing with him. Maybe it's because I mostly went for the nice dialogue choices throughout the game...
