The pant sounds from Anders felt a little awkward to me, but I think a lot of that had to do with the fact that I was imagining being the VA and having to act that out in the sound booth.

I know most people found the Anders kiss impossibly hot, but I found it impossibly ... awkward Just because I was imagining poor Adam Howden macking all over his hand and making those noises, I could not see them coming from Anders, just the actor. It was horrible for me, I cringed!

And yes, see, YOU ALL SEE WHAT I MEAN, Fenris is intense enough to top. I imagine why MY Lady Hawke, it was always a bit of a power struggle to see who would end up in that role.

Hello again! I finally finished the game, and OMG the last boss fight and ending was so epic! And holy crap at the implications! I want DA3 NOW! 

BUT there is one thing I wonder. I haven't visited the forums since Thursday so I don't know if you have already discussed this. If so, I apologize. Did we actually get this scene? Or did I completely miss it?



I probably sound like a perv now, but I was really looking forward to seeing where Fenris's tattoos went and was a bit disappoint when they never had nekkid  time on-screen.

He is much worse about the gifts with a rival than a friend, especially if the rival is not romanced.  

I love the gifts and how the reactions change depending on how the recipient feels about your Hawke. I also like how approval is more tied to your actions than what you say and to gifts..

Lol it's really awkward giving Isabela her Rivaini talisman gift if you're not romancing her. Then again, maybe it's even more awkward if you are...

I don't think that scene really exists. Fenris looks photoshopped in, actually, as there's some choppiness in the lines of his neck.

As far as where the tattoos go? You know they're from his chin to his toes to his hands. I imagine they're everywhere.

I just finished Dragon Age II
I loved everyone but Fenris is definitely my favorite.
He was the push-against-the-wall romance after all

Also, I got rather upset when he left after that first night.

Anders freaked when Bethany went down once and yelled "Healer down!!"  And someone said when Hawke died romancing Anders they thought he said "please don't be dead". I need to pay attention.

Random question: If you could choose an alt. outfit(like Merrills' or Anders') for Fenris, would you want it to be like the concept art outfit, or a new design? If a new design, what sorts of things would you want different?

I haven't been able to get the glowy kiss either.  It is quite upsetting.

I love that it's not just Rivalry/Romance that changes how the interactions go, but also how you've established your Hawke's personality through responses. I enjoyed the dynamic of my good-natured, always diplomatic mage being the calm voice of reason while the angry warrior elf goes off on her. He loses his temper a lot and she never loses hers, so she always managed to make him feel like crap for the things he said, which probably made him all the more frustrated with her.

This, exactly! I think it's going to be a recurring theme in my Hawke's relationship with Fenris that she just can't give a good gift to save her life. Seriously, her heart is in the right place but she keeps picking up the absolute worst things for people! I was upset I couldn't at least get him to begrudgingly accept the sword and see that it came from good intentions.

Also, 'Charlie Brown walk' took my mind straight to Arrested Development.



PS: So glad Fenris didn't moan during the kisses, that was uncomfortable to listen to with Anders. Maybe if they were both moaning it wouldn't be so weird, or if there were any other sounds at all. Rustling clothes, heavy breathing, something. It was just way unnatural the way they did it.

And there's when Hawke goes down and Fenris screams, "I won't allow that to happen," or something like that

Ugh, romancing Anders or Sebastian is gonna be hard, to not be able to romance Fenris
