Objection, I insist that Fenris can top! Come on, the last kiss and the lines that preceed it? That is not the kiss of a dedicated bottom!
I can't see Fenris letting a mage--even a mage he's in love with--top him. Fortunately, my Hawke is totally a bottom.

I don't know, if you slept with Merrill you may not have a chance to get him back, sorry.cin_zia wrote...
You know I realized that when I screwed up my chance with Fenris (I restarted from my last save in act 2) I was in a terrible mood that he left, and that because Hawke slept with Merrill her chances of romancing Fenris again in act 3 were gone. I was quite upset....man if I was Hawke i'd be a horrible champion lol!
But yeah I'm happier now that I know in act 3 Fenris will tell my Hawke how he feels!
What really bugged me about it is that it made no sense. Fenris has never been out of line, he's never let his hate of mages cause him to do anything more violent than strongly worded concerns. He's never seemed out of control. The same cannot be said of Anders.cin_zia wrote...
Urgh Anders made me so mad when he insults Fenris.

Like the confrontation with Anders about your relationship with Fenris, with both of them in the party at the time.
Anders: I know it isn't my place to criticize, but, are you sure about Fenris? he seems less a man to me than a wild dog.
Hawke: ('Don't call him that' dialogue choice) You just don't know him.
Anders: I know as much as I'm ever likely to.
Fenris: That's right, Mage.
Anders: He has let one bad experience color his whole world. Surely you want someone more open-minded.
Fenris: *looks at Hawke* A Mage and a hypocrite. What company you keep.
wait i dont remember this, when was this? ):

But, what I wanted to say was that there is a very similar outfit for sale at the mage goods store in the Gallows, called Heavy Velvet Robes, for about 7 gold. It's more purplish color.

Yes, but (with 1107 pages of info. about Fenris, I'm not about to look it up) how do I make him LOVE ME??? Alister was easy as hell....Isabella apparently fell in love with me anyway, despite that I never had her in my party, not ONCE....But I find myself saving beforehand, every time I know I'm going to enter a conversation with Fenris (or any conversation that I think my influence his feelings).
What's his fickle deal!? I've been nice, sarcastic, brutish...all he cares about is hating on mages and killing slavers. Is it impossible to make him fall in love with you, before you finish his story arch, where he kills his former slave owner?
He falls in love. You may not like how he reacts to falling in love, but he definitely does; if you stay faithful to him, it works out. And if you two can't agree, try a rivalry relationship -- it's intense.
Okay. I just think he's one dead sexy elf....plus, he's got the whole "play hard to get" thing going on, which makes me even more determined.
P.s. I meant to say Anders, not Alister. I guess old habits die hard.

Really? When can you get it? I hate having my Hawke in a dress--it's just not his style, especially since he clearly spends a lot of time working out to get his arms that buff--but I haven't been able to find anything like that other than the stuff you get after the first year.

Agreed, my mage is totally fine with letting him be the dominant one in the relationship.darkrose wrote...

For some reason I like to think that my Hawke is all Champion of Kirkwall during business but when it comes to Fenris she turns into a total girly, demure stereotype. That's not normally my play style, either. Maybe it's because of Lady Hawke's sweet voice during the Diplomatic and Nice/Good options.

Anyone else get the banter where Anders ask Fenris why he didnt just kill himself?
Something like:
Anders: Have you ever thought about just killing yourself? As a slave seems like the only option. Easier than running.
Fenris: Doesnt the maker view suicide as a sin? I like to think there are worse things in life.
Anders: There are things worse than death.
I wanted the option to smack him then.

PS: So glad Fenris didn't moan during the kisses, that was uncomfortable to listen to with Anders. Maybe if they were both moaning it wouldn't be so weird, or if there were any other sounds at all. Rustling clothes, heavy breathing, something. It was just way unnatural the way they did it.

I haven't romanced Anders yet, but I've seen his romance vids and the moaning was so... so... uncomfortable. And it sounded... sloopy.
I was really turned off.
Maybe it's horrible...but this made me laugh a LOT. And...I've never really pictured Fenris the moaning type. Maybe some sexy growling, but not moaning, pleading or begging.
And regarding the topping situation...My mage!Hawke likes it when he takes charge, but she's not giving up control every time

Red Velvet Robes and you can get them in act ii. I ran to buy them. You can also get a drop in act ii for some pirate robes. Put them on. They are not robes, but piratey looking armor instead. I've been wearing those on my mage for the time being.
Apparently in act iii at the same mage vendor, youc an get something called mage armaments and they are also not robes.
I'm with you.. I hate those damn robe/dresses.

I did that on the playthrough I just finished (Fenris got nabbed) He was pissed with himself about it too. LOVED it. It was awful, tho, letting bethany die in the deep roads...I played a rogue this time (already finished my 2nd playthrough
)
Oh my god.... So doing this next PT. I want to see him get all pissy.

Wait, really? I didn't know that if you slept with someone else after Fenris broke it off, it didn't leave you the option to rekindle it later. Are you sure? I mean, I can understand if you move in with Merrill, but if you just slept with her then broke up with her? I did the same thing, but with Anders and had no problem with rekindling the romance. Just slept with Anders, broke up with him when he asked to move in and that was it. It was hilarious, too. My Hawke told Anders he wasn't very good in bed, then he left all broken hearted and she went back to Fen. >_> I might have played a really evil Hawke.

Oh gawwddd... I just heard him say, "I'm yours." in DAT VOICE! I turned to a puddle of goo. Then I spent the next five minutes idly pressing him to hear him say it over and over.
Ohhh Zev used to do that, I'd click on him constantly just to hear it.
Warden: *taps Zev on shoulder*
Zev: I am Yours...
Warden: Never mind *smile*
...
Warden: Zev?
Zev: I am yours
Warden: Never mind.
...
Warden: Zev darling?
Zev: WHAT????!!
Warden: Err...love you?
