PS: So glad Fenris didn't moan during the kisses, that was uncomfortable to listen to with Anders. Maybe if they were both moaning it wouldn't be so weird, or if there were any other sounds at all. Rustling clothes, heavy breathing, something. It was just way unnatural the way they did it.
:pinched: Yes! I haven't romanced Anders yet, but I've seen his romance vids and the moaning was so... so... uncomfortable. And it sounded... sloopy.  I was really turned off.

Well, Anders has a certain kind of... desperation that Fenris doesn't xD

Also, I must be the only one who liked having Hawke in dresses... but only as a male  Lady mage gets pants.

I did that on the playthrough I just finished (Fenris got nabbed  :P)  He was pissed with himself about it too.  LOVED it.  It was awful, tho, letting bethany die in the deep roads...I played a rogue this time (already finished my 2nd playthrough  )

Oh my god.... So doing this next PT.  I want to see him get all pissy.

You have to leave him home for the 'best served cold' mission.  Otherwise, they'll take whoever has the 'highest' friendship score.  Anders wasn't even a possibility in mine.  He was full rival before I completed the first act...  I also admit to killing him.  Twice.  I was pretty angry with him at the end...

Wait, really?  I didn't know that if you slept with someone else after Fenris broke it off, it didn't leave you the option to rekindle it later.  Are you sure?  I mean, I can understand if you move in with Merrill, but if you just slept with her then broke up with her?  I did the same thing, but with Anders and had no problem with rekindling the romance.  Just slept with Anders, broke up with him when he asked to move in and that was it.  It was hilarious, too.  My Hawke told Anders he wasn't very good in bed, then he left all broken hearted and she went back to Fen.  >_>  I might have played a really evil Hawke.

That worked? I thought you had to 'stay loyal' as it were for the Fenris romance to be rekindled. Well I don't know, I was just responding based on what'd I've read. If that's the case, that's better. Wouldn't want to make it too hard to get to those final, glorious Fenris moments!

Sibling is the one to get captured if they were made a Warden. How those mages found Carver -and- wrestled him away from his fellow Wardens, I'll never know.

It worked fine for me, but sometimes I've read that the romance flags can be bugged, so perhaps it was an accident?  Only more playthroughs will tell!

I did not youtube it, but I"m pretty sure it is true. It says so in the Guide.... My sibling did not die though, so she will probably get kidnapped. I didn't really like her anyway, though. It would be more interesting for it to be the love interest who gets taken, but we will see.

And to be completely random, WTF, Bioware. We get to see Merrill in her underwear, but we don't get to see Fenris without a shirt?! This angers me. Seriously. I want to see what's under that chest plate. *Sigh* I can see Hawke mostly nekkid whenever I want her to be. We can't, however, take off companion armor. You're killing us girls, here. I want the eye-candy.

We seriously needed shirtless scenes. For both Fenris and Anders. :D

Someone was asking me about this mage outfit.  I got to thinking it might have even been a drop when you go to get Hadriana!

But, what I wanted to say was that there is a very similar outfit for sale at the mage goods store in the Gallows, called Heavy Velvet Robes, for about 7 gold.  It's more purplish color.

Really? When can you get it? I hate having my Hawke in a dress--it's just not his style, especially since he clearly spends a lot of time working out to get his arms that buff--but I haven't been able to find anything like that other than the stuff you get after the first year.

Act 2 I gues- since going back to an old save, it looks like you can't get to the Gallows in act 1.  I hate the mage dresses too.  The smuggler/ mercenary outfit you get is pretty good through act 1.

Definitely. The fact that he's shirtless in that old screenshot gives me hope that there is a model in there somewhere, we just need an intrepid modder to 'fix' those romance scenes... ;)

Actually, it doesn't matter if its friendship or rival. Cause my second playthrough (which I juuust finished), my rogue was rivalmancing Fenris and, as an experiment, I didn't take him when it came to the Best Served Cold quest. He got Elf-napped :innocent:

I absolutely loved that I could play a mage and still get to wear pants.  I kept my armor really low throughout the entire game just because of aesthetic reasons.  Silly, I know, but I hate those stupid robes.  Were there any more armor sets for mages besides the two with pants, or did I just miss them somehow?

How the hell do I get the glowy kiss?!  I just did the Bitter Pill quest.  I didn't complete Questioning Beliefs beforehand because I read that doing that will cause the glowy kiss not to trigger.  Then I go back to Hawke's Estate and I don't get the "Don't Go" option.  WTF?!

To add to that, I miss the option to have random sexy times back at camp and make out with LI whenever you wanted. <_< Missing on some prime banter right there.

Fenris: I'm yours.
Hawke: Hell yes, you are. *grabs and kisses him passionately*
Isabela: Room for one more? Come now, don't be greedy, Hawke.
Anders: Ugh... again? Excuse while I go elsewhere and throw up.
Marrill: Oh my! *covers eyes, but giggles as she peeks through her fingers*

I'm not witty enough to come up with the others. :P

There needed to be more pants outfits for mages! I'm so sick of the unflattering dresses that make Hawke's butt look twice as big.

I missed that cool looking velvet outfit in my playthrough, so I'll be sure to look out for it next time. I liked this other one, though:

I think Leliana was wearing it too when you meet her. :)

I also like the mage Champion outfit. I kind of wish it was... sleeker looking, though. It makes Hawke look like such a wild woman with all the furr and the spikes, the bloody markings, the raggedness and so on. It'd be better for a Hawke who's been on the run for a long time or something, not one who's been living in wealth and comfort in Hightown for years.

Actually, I think you're supposed to do Questioning Beliefs before Bitter Pill. The way it happened for me was that I did Questioning Beliefs right at the beginning of Act 2 (and I already had a very high rivaly meter with Fenris by then). I also made sure to flirt with him at that point. Then I got the glowy wall-pushy kiss right after Bitter Pill.

opposite actually. you must return his interest during Questioning Beliefs to get the flirt option in the conclusion of Bitter Pill.

I think she is wearing those but with different coloring.  And yes, those are the 'robes' my mage is wearing atm.  SO much better than those teal/fur robes that Bethany wears later on.  Omg, why do mage robes have to be so ugly and have a license plate on the butt?

Have you seen the battlemage outfit? I almost fell outta my seat when I tried it on my Hawke. Armor for mages! I forgot what it was called, but I love the outfit from the above picture(pirate robers or something?) and the heavy mages robes. I support pants for mages... female mages.

Is it just me or after a few responses does the  game decide how to respond when you choose the "investigate options or whatever.,

The game definitely chooses some responses based on how you respond to other things. For example, Fenris saying the line about how he'll go if Hawke tells him to, and a diplomatic or sarcastic Hawke responds with, "No need." Whereas an aggressive Hawke says, "Shut up."

You can see this early on in the fleeing from Lothering bit, when your earliest responses will decide how Hawke responds on his/her own to the idea of going South.

Another example of this that you can see with Fenris is during the scene in Act 1 when you visit Fenris' mansion (where he's throwing bottles on the wall). He says, "Had I known Anso would find me a woman so capable, I might have asked him to look sooner." If you choose the [Flatterer] heart icon, a green/diplomatic Hawke would say, "Maybe I should be thanking Anso." (He replies, "Maybe you should.") A red/aggressive Hawke would say, "Talk is cheap." (He replies, "Is that so?") No clue on purple/charming -- have not heard that one yet.

ANYWAY ...  if you pick the purple/silly "That was a waste" reply to Fenris after he throws the wine on the wall, Hawke gives a very charming response that makes Fenris laugh. Worth picking every time. =D
