Though I have absolutely no desire to actually mod Fenris. I love the way he looks. How old do you think he is at the start of the game?

Eww, no. I would never mod him either. I like him as he is, but his eyebrows make me think he was originally dark haired so it's like a glimpse into his past. And Feznor is just hot.Mel_Redux wrote...
That's not Fenris.
I would definitely mod Isabela's stupid outfit, and the shoelessness. I don't think I'd change any of the others.

I thought writing with Fenris was a big improvement over Zevran's. I could never put my finger on the Zevran romance, but it felt incomplete, that there was just a little bit more development that needed to happen, but by then it was game over. With Fenris, it feels like I got the whole package from start to end in terms of character development, romance build-up, and a satisfying resolution. The intensity of his character cranks up the volume.RosaAquafire wrote...
I did enjoy how Fenris never says he loves you. I was like DAMMIT, FENRIS, WHY YOU GOTTA BE ALL ZEVRAN ABOUT THIS? What is it about those hot male elves?
No, actually, I thought it was in character and wonderful, and the things that he says instead of it are even more melt-worthy. I just thought it was interesting.

But I also think it is better than Zevran's romance, and I absolutely love Zevran's romance. It struck a nerve for sure -- you get more of a feeling that he is swept away by feelings he can't control.

Yeah, I disavow all companion mods, the character models were really well done (until someone releases a mod that makes Sebastian's eyes non-neon glowy highlighter barf blue).
I am now conviced that his eyes are some kind of laser sight so he'll hit his targets more often.

For some reason my brain is set on that Fenris's hair turned white after the whole lyrium business. Maybe it's canon. 8D I got no idea, but it makes sense.
Yeah i had the same idea. And that's probably the case too...i wish we could ask him, talk to him more :crying:Oh well...maybe in future DLCs/expansions. I heard that they will expand the story between the acts. Maybe we'll see what happened between act 2 and 3.
As for Seb, i hate him. My dream with the harem party got quickly washed away. Anders and Seb acted like they got out of Twilight or something...so i went for Varric and Merrill. Mary did a great job on them, i was really surprised! I didn't even think i would love them so much.

Though I have to admit, I hate white hair, Fenris' has grown on me. I can't imagine him without it. He will forever be the Nick Rhodes of DA for me now.

Yeah I would not mod Fenris for as much as I do love me a dark haired man. And at this point, I don't even know if I would give Isabella pants. Everything is growing on me and I can't imagine the companions looking otherwise (even the stupid lack of shoes).

I prefer the original too. As for how old he is, i think older than Hawke. And since she/he is around 25 years at the start of the game...Fenris might be 30ish? Or more...since elves don't show their age. Maybe he is 100 years old! XD
For some reason I always thought of Hawke as somewhere around 21, 22, or 23 at the start. Bethany/Carver is supposedly 18. I never imagined Hawke being more than five years older than her siblings. Which would put her at 30 at the final battle, and 33 when Cassandra is searching for her. I agree that Fenris is definitely older than her, though I can't guess by how much. Hell, he probably doesn't remember. We should have asked his sister before I let him phase punch her <_<

Yes, same. I didn't like the white hair at first but it's who he is- it's part of his marking.Tasmen wrote...

I didn't realize Feznor was actually a mod, I thought someone 'shopped that. Despite my panting, I wouldn't use the mod. That's like removing his tattoos- why would you do that?
But, eww- not Nick Rhodes. Rhaegar Targaryen baby

I agree regarding the younger end of the 20's. She could even be as young as 19 or as old as thirty, but I think the later is unlikely. I'd say no older than 25, no younger than 20. She'd also have to be relatively close in age to be friends with one sibling and viewed as a rival by the other. Maker knows my sister and I have a rivalry relationship (I'm the younger sister...by two years). Greater distances between children can sometimes lead to emotional gaps, or viewing them like a surrogate parent.

I agree about the markings. I disagree about the age. Since he's an elf, he could be ten or even twenty years older than her. We never really know how long he's been a slave, or how old he was when he got the markings, but we do know that elves don't age like humans. He also could be physically exactly her age, but living rough and running all the time has given him a rougher appearance. Heaven knows I don't look as good as I did seven years ago when I got married. Stress will do that to you.

Does this happen in Act 1? If so I need to know if there is any way to squeeze a tiny bit more of friendship points out of him with the quest Finders Keepers or the quest where you save the viscounts son. Please help a fellow fengirl out x3

I think he's perfect for having an ambiguous age. BECAUSE HE DOESN'T REMEMBER
He can be however old you want him to be...within reason...lol

Is there any info on elfs and aging, do they live longer than humans or anything?
That would be kinda cool if he was a lot older, I like older men.
or as you say could look older due to stress of his life.

Gah guys I need some help. I could of sworn that if you get 50% friendship/rivalry with Fenris in Act 1 he'll want to talk to you again. The last time this happened he was all drunk and Hawke offered for sexy time but Fenris refused and said he would think about it.

I believe that happened to me in Act II, though when exactly it happens for me changed a little bit. My first playthrough I got it after I finished "Bitter Pill" and then I ran around a little bit before I noticed I had a letter at my house. When I walked in there he was telling me he couldn't stop thinking about me. On my other playthrough I actually had this conversation before we were attacked in "Bitter Pill". I don't really remember how or why *shrug*

Question on Fenris.....when he's going to 'phase punch' his sister (love that description)...if you are going to romance him...what should you pick?

Regarding his sister, it doesn't matter what you pick, though if you convince him to let her live, she tells him about his past and how he got his markings. But then she gets to live, so pick your poison.
It doesn't affect the romance at all.

Hawke is older that 25. At the beginning of the game when Gamlen talks to Leandra he says their parents died 25 years ago and he wasn't willing to wait for her that long to return. Also, Leandra said that when their parents died, the twins were a week old.
EDIT: Wait i don't remember if he said she ran away 25 years ago or if their parents died 25 years ago...gotta check.
