Sadly his body model does not have the lyrium brands we wanted to see...

And that's why I'm pro a school. Not a prision. Pass your Harrowing and you're free to go. You just need to check in periodically to make sure you're not going round the bend. It can even become a support structure for mages who lose family and such to make sure they're not tempted by demons. 

You don't need to abuse and exploit people to teach them.

Oh absolutely. I didn't always agree with Fenris, and his view is definitely biased, but he is capable of rational thought way moreso then Anders. And there' way more to his character then his mage stance obviously haha.

Yeah at the end of the game I wanted to smack everyone Templar and mage. Only sane man seemed to be Cullen. Hilarious given his role in DAO. 

True he is more rational than Anders. Anders is just sick to bursting with all the crap.

I took him to see Idunna, "the exotic wonder of the east", last night, because I was curious how he would react to her enchantment.  I had to leave everyone else out of the party because someone else always chimed in, getting taken in by her.  He does, too, at first, but then realizes it and tells Hawke to "be cautious."  It made me think about what it would be like to live around a blood mage like Danarius who could control your mind.  He had to become knowledgeable and disciplined on the subject of magic just to find his own identity.  I made a video of the interaction here.  Also interesting- he makes no objection and gives no rivalry points for letting her go.

Oh god all of the implications of that really just sunk in. Where's my controller, I need to go give Fenris a hug.

Agreed.  People like what they like.  I hate being told "you like/ dislike X character because..."  Sometimes a character just strikes you wrong, or right.

What has been done to Varric is unforgivable.

Fenris also probably lacks the tattoos because he wasn't meant to be shown naked, so they didn't add them to a nude model xD

Yeah, i am sure that's the case. They might have run out of time or something, considering they were naked (or appeared to be) in the Valentine's day romance scene screenies they released, but not in the final game.

@ankuu They could have just posed those shots too, there have been a bunch of shots and scenes that weren't in the final game.

Hah! Most others get rivalry when Hawke asks whats wrong with them while Fenris actually seems to get something's off. Quite cool.

As for what difference it makes if he's in his underpants...LOOK AT THOSE ABS! And i was curious how the elven underwear looked like. The male one at least, the fem one was easy to spot in the brothel.

PS: Varric can't be seen in his underpants because he seems to have some extra "bones" in order to animate Bianca.

I was catching up on past pages and noticed someone (sorry, lost the page where the post was) bemoaned the fact of weapons blocking their view.  This mod, 'Hide Weapons', fixes that.  All weapons, except for Varric's, are gone except in combat.  It works wonderfully

Edit: Or does he wear that for everyone after his act 2 personal quest?  I know the red scarf is romance related, but I was curious about the family crest.

Huh? He's really sweet and flirty and Old Andersy in the beginning if you play as a male Hawke. I'm kind of surprised at the difference.

Well, except for the whole eyes glowing blue part in your first potential flirt conversation. That was kind of when my Hawke started backing away from the crazy.

Of course, he thinks Fenris is hot when he glows, so he's not exactly consistent.

LOL, I was referring to ukii's comment about the red tie over Fenris' crotch, since you, err, get a view of that normally? Ugh, no way to phrase that without me sounding like I spend hours staring at pixel junk.

its a Knight thing. the favor (scarf) says he's representing someone when he fights or acts. the crest is the symbol of whom he chooses to represent.

I was so dissapointed by Seb (even more than Anders). My harem party dream got crushed down eaaarly. First of all, i hate that we get him in Act 2, i had my party already formed by then. Second of all, he is pretty flat...Seems like the only character i liked from the start to the end was Fenris. I never would have imagined i will be a Varric or Merrill lover tho. Took them EVERYWHERE with me! <3

Oh and another thing i found out...Andraste is ug-ly. Mostly those statues. Laugh at me, but i find statues creepy! I tried to stay AWAY from the big ones by sitting near the collums...i almost peed my pants when i saw those coming down!!! And the ones from the stairs rising up. Maker have mercy...

when i play as a mage, i feel like anders only has an interest in me BECAUSE i'm a mage. like that's my entire identity.  Fenris, by contrast, doesn't really make a big deal out of it after the initial reaction.  well, unless the subject in particular is brought up. i dunno, i guess the fenris relationship seems more about hawke's personality and character instead of a coincidence of birth.

i realize anders DOES care but he just talks so much about mages that when i'm actually role-playing, its a definite "i just want you because you're another mage" vibe.

Ooh, I hadn't even thought about that, but it's so true. It's not quite a fetish, but I think my Hawke worries that if he ever disagreed with Anders, it would be "how can you betray your fellow mages, you sellout!"

(Which, incidentally, is why I didn't mind the lack of nudity in regards to Anders' scene, it would be weird to see them with the same body since I played dude Hawke as well).

Fenris is opinionated, but he shows some gentlemanly concern and restraint at points too.  For instance, even with his feelings about mages, he'll say "that was unworthy of me" about a dickish comment he made, and he shows concern for a mage Hawke going into the Gallows.  Anders is just a bundle of emotions, I get that, and I think he's supposed to have woobie charm which he did for about ten minutes.  Then it was a bit too much.  I also saw the first bit of his mansion visit scene and the line "Justice doesn't approve of me seeing you" creeps me the hell out.  Maybe I'll get over it.

LOL! Some things about Fenris creep me out (not really, I think the lock of hair thing was a fan-only concoction), but Anders is totally a creeper when you know there's another dude in him while you have sexy timez.

They're both opinionated and can come off as a dick if you're on the opposite side, but I found playing ****y!hawke was a great match for Fenris, and playing halo!hawke was good for Anders. Uh, for Friendmances. ^^; Rivalmances are awesome, too!

Annnd ... AWESOME HALF NAKED MEN PIC!!  That's hawt.

Danarius doesn't seem to be controlling people, though, on second thought.  Varania looked to be in control of herself, and he didn't try to control Hawke, though I guess at that point he just wants Fenris dead or alive.  Maybe he's not that good a blood mage which is why he needs a glowy bodyguard.
