Oh I don't want one, I just couldn't figure out what guides people were  talking about that they didn't use. I haven't even looked for DA2, I only meant Fenris didn't need a guide for his but Zevran's did back in Origins. ..lol

Me too!  Of course, the only thing that
saved me was Anders approval was neutral so I couldn't romance him.  But
when Fenris came to comfort her after mom died, it did seem that things
weren't really over.

started seeing each other again at that point, but backed WAY the hell

And he's looking at that wine bottle.

There was no animation that showed any liquid he was drinking. Especially since the bottle was kind of far from his lip.

And I'm like "did he drink all of it and is just savouring the last drops?"

Guides.

No one bought strategy guides? My EB had them at the most obvious spot in the store. I saw it the minute I walked in. Collector's edition. Lovely illustrations! They offered tips without giving too much away!

Damn useful when it comes to the Fade quest.

just to add to this bit, you also keep in mind that even in Act 3, the characters THINK you are involved with Fenris still.  remember what Anders says to you when you start his personal quest.

so i imagine that Hawke and Fenris must have stayed pretty damn close.  Just in the awkward sort of shameful way.

True! True, true, true. Ah, Anders and his fits of jealousy. It made the entire thing that much more charming. In its own way. Love triangles can be chaos or awesome... usually the former rather than the latter. But it's still kind of sweet.

I wonder just how open they were with their relationship, though. I don't know if it's on purpose or not, but after they kiss at the very end, they both sort of scuffle their feet. I imagine they are very private about it... I dunno.

@Batorific, everyone noticed that somehow. Merrill and Varric just teased Fenris non-stop. Not sure about Issie as she left in Act II in my playthrough. Even Aveline mentioned that to Hawk during the relationship chat (when she was courting Donic). Anders? He had a unique cutscene questioning what did Hawk see in Fenris XD.

Fenris didn't really end the relationship. He just...couldn't sleep with Hawke again after those memories teased him like that. He still loves Hawke, but couldn't let himself get THAT close to him/her again without that fear of the memories flicking in and out of his mind once more.

now remember merril's banter. the way fenris looks at hawke. and the fact he wears her family crest on his belt.  i am not saying they sit right next to eachother at the Hanged Man playing Diamondback in Varric's room... but i'm saying they probably sit right next to eachother playing Diamondback in Varric's room.

Not to mention Hawke is most likely teaching Fenris to read so thats a lot of time together as well.  Its the sort of bond between two people where the onlooking swear they're doing it like rabbits.  But they may not be for whatever reason.. In this case awkward barriers.  That confusing no man's land of "are we, arent we? i don't even know..."

I think it's a bug.  Nuncio mentions the warden, telling Zevran he's kind of screwed because his warden isn't around this time.  I want a toolset so bad, though, so I can see for sure.  Becuase you'd think if they put him in as a fan service, they'd have him acknowledging the romance in some way.  Though I imported a Queen CousCous, so I can't be too mad that Zevran would mess around when she's got to do her royal duties!  At least she takes some time off to help Zevran with his personal war.

I got Merrill's banter when my Hawke moved on to Anders.  I felt like crap when I heard that.  Then Fenris threatned Anders, telling him he better treat Hawke right, so I started to get helpful.  Then Isbela and him talked about hooking up and my hopes were crushed!

Sad days, that one

Edit: Truthfully, after hearing Fenris tell Anders he better treat Hawke right, I am not sure I could romance anyone else.  It's just such an amazing banter.

I tried this ( Isabela first just took him for a shag so I had to reload ). Fenris says something along the lines of "Try it. Then we can test your so called luck". Zev backs the hell off. I like jellin Fenris
