He definitely does it (:innocent:) with my mage Hawke; as soon as the fight starts, he's right there next to me. I kind of wonder if he isn't getting annoyed with me kill stealing.

I personally think she's a really powerful demon that can possess multiple bodies at once (I got that implication from something she says shortly after you bring her back-- I can't remember what) and she's gathering powerful vessels for her to possess.

The Warden was a hero-- he/she was powerful enough to slay the Archdemon and end the Blight in less then a year to two years. Hawke was the Champion of Kirkwall-- he/she slayed the Arishok of the Qunari as well the result of a really powerful blood magic ritual and a lyrium fueled insane templar. Common denominator between the two next to that they had lots of prowess with combat/magic is that they had contact with Flemeth at one point or another.

okay, is it me, or is Fen programmed slightly like Zev was, to protect Hawke?

I mentioned this to my b/f. It does seem to me that more oft than not, if someone comes after my rogueHawke, then Fenris comes flying in to bash their skulls in. Sometimes it's another. Usually it's him. I don't know if it's an AI predisposition, or just a consequence of him being the only warrior I tote around sometimes.

Actually, with my rogue (alternates between dual wielder and archer), he'll abandon what he's attacking if she's attacking it too. I don't know if that's because she has amazing Crit Chance alongside a pretty high Crit Damage. My mage on the other hand, is hilarious to play on. She'll be all la-di-da down a cave, (ex.) spiders drop, Fenris jumps on the one closest to him, and then suddenly all the spiders decide that they like Hawke better and all come and jump on her (except the one Fenris is killing). I don't think I've ever seen a two-hander warrior come tearing down a battle-field faster. First time it happened I was "Holy sh... You're my hero! Goddam spiders!"

 I've noticed this too! I wasn't sure if it was intentional for Fenris to save your ass, when you're in trouble. Zevran would do the same for my Warden. Made me all happy hehehe

Zevran's tactics are set that way, to attack whatever is attacking the Warden. I also set Fenris to do the same. It's mostly sentimental, and not very efficient, at least if there are archers around. Heh. But it's just too fun to see them run to your rescue and for a mage it does help out if you get a melee attacker. Those Tal Vashoth, egad, they resist spells too much.

Hello all! (:

I just finished my second play through. I liked Fenris during the first (with a rogue Lady Hawke) but kinda got distracted by Anders. So distracted that I didn't max out the rivalry and I ended up killing him (sad). On my second on I was determined to rival romance Fenris (with a mage Lady Hawke).

You guys! He is GREAT and WONDERFUL (which you clearly knew).

Anders was nice and all but Fenris...he was just...perfect. He completely ranks right up there with Kaidan for me (my favorite LI ever). I don't think I'll ever have Anders as an LI again...that would mean no Fenris (well, some Fenris I suppose).

So I just finished my playthrough last night and I noticed something I found a bit curious....When I was fighting Orsino, Bethany joined the fight with me to help kill him - but her hair turned white like Fenris! Same hairstyle she usually has, only white instead of black...? But then as soon as I killed him, it went back to normal, and when I fought Meredith it stayed the normal black. Did that happen for anyone else or just me? Was it a glitch or something?
