It probably wasn't easy.  I'm sure there were times where she (or they) were in a situation that made it very difficult to NOT have some sexy-time.  I mean, she spent time teaching how to read and who doesn't want to hug or kiss someone they love when they're happy/excited for them.  I'd imagine that it was something akin to torture.

For Fenris, especially.  He mentions being able to remember so well how it felt with her, so I'd imagine he woke up a few times, almost convinced that she was with him until he realized that she wasn't there.

And now my mental muses are telling me to go write some seriously angsty fanfiction.  Venhedis.

It couldn't have been easy for either of them. It's clear Fenris loves Hawke to death, and she/he loves Fen just as much. Spending those three years in a non-intimate relationship with someone you love that much must have been....pure hell...

Totally named my Human Noble from Origins Surreal    She married Alistair and became queen.

I've actually drabbled a few FenxFem!Hawke fics, but I haven't posted any yet.  I'm a bit embarrassed by them (and the fact that when I post something...there's a strong chance my husband or brother-in-law will read it  >.<;;

I was plotting to do a Jaenelle mage, if I don't already have one started...  I did a Titian as a ranged rogue (elf, of course).

Ahh. that would be a good reason not to post them.

@ Helen0rz and panamakira - One problem with that. Once you go Fen you can't go back. I started Fenris with the intention of romancing the others at a later time. I only got around to Isabella my last playthrough. I had to reload because I couldn't romance Fenris after. >.>;

Yeah, my first playthrough was a mage-sympathizer rogue who fell head-over-heels with Anders...Second playthrough was a Templar-supporting apostate mage who totally fell head-over-heels for Fen. Now I'm on a Ranged Rogue Templar supporter who's head-over-heels for Fen again...

I wonder what it's like to be in Hawke's shoes, in the sense of: confessing your love to a guy who sleeps you right after, but his personal problem got in the way, ditched you there on the bed while you're still practically naked; then, continue on with your lives for the next 3 years without ever discussing what exactly happened and pick up where you left off

personally, I can't do it. it would've been a very "i can't let go because i see him practically everyday, but it's been 3 years, can't just pick it up like nothing happened". SIGH...

Love the surprised/winded expression Fenris gets when Hawke does the wall-slam.  He was just swept, regardless of his claim that there was no sweeping involved.  Or maybe he just realized how strong their UST had been to that point.  I think Hawke surprises him throughout the romance, she came into his life and upended it, changes so much and brings out these feelings that Fenris is not used to.  (I say she because I get this vibe stronger with a female Hawke.)  That frightens and confuses him more than anything, those feelings, especially since I am betting he has not felt such things as far as he can remember.

Last time I played Snarky!Hawke and she dropped the 'Part of me thinks I should hold out on you for a little bit longer' line.  I was like OMG, I so would.  For about two seconds until he dropped that next line on me.  Then I'd be all over him, too...

I went on youtube today just to hear his voice in other stuff and it's interesting because...I can see his face (cute British actor, typical) with the face but all I could think of was Fenris hahahahhahahah:wub:

very true. My first playthrough, I was completely set on Anders because, well, returning character and he was a cool kid in Awakening. Fenris comes along and I wa pretty much . Well, I figured I was gonna do 2nd playthrough anyways so I just stuck with Anders.

I think my hubby is a tad threatened by Fenris...Otherwise he wouldn't bother bad-mouthing him.  Damn, but Gaider knows what he's doing when he writes LIs...First Alistair (who I romanced exclusively with female wardens, Zevran got all the boys ), now Fenris.

Although, I will admit, if Varric had been an LI, I might have gone for it.  Regardless of my husbands 'ew dwarf-sex' comments...<_<

Yeah.. I was playing this and going, I know that voice. Why the hell do I know that voice. So, IMDB and squee'd, seeing he did Balthier. *has a thing for several of the gunners in FF games*

I remember playing DA:O, then giggled about Alistair, and then turned around noticing my bf was looking at me with this "um, really?" look on his face.

with Fenris, he pretty much ignored me when I'm all "<3<3<3" about it. Just the other day I was like "hey, you know what you should do? Every now and then you should just walk up to me and then passionately kiss me or something". He looked, paused, and said "....you've been playing too much Dragon Age".
