Silly question time: how exactly does Fenris kill Danarius? Does he crush his throat? There's a SQUISHBANG and then another BANG.

I am assuming he ripped his throat out.

I think he's just getting in there and tearing things up good.  Maybe breaking a few vertabrae, or his collarbone after squishing the man's heart.

I pictured it as: bare hand shoved into the chest, grabbed the spine, squeeze tightly, CRUSH then RIP!

I know, I know. I'm crazy.

But look at it from a, "Oh my god, look at what my lover will do to guys who try to hurt me" perspective....

Night!

It's hot because of that angry stomp he does over to Danarius, the power evident in how he grabs his former master, and how that voice declares what he's wanted to say for years.  The power of the bloody crush whatever it was, that was just the completion.

Now I am off to YouTube again for some more aural sex.  Image IPB

To me is so much easier to romance Fenris after romancing Anders. I love Anders and all but I don't think I can do his romance twice. My wound is still open. Specially when I don't agree with what he did. *sigh* We have a complicated relationship.

Fenris on the other hand, leaves you wanting but if you're patient you get rewarded for it. I thought although he seems very harsh and cold, he's very sweet and passionate about his love for Hawke. I like that. Plus he's looking to be like the lasting relationship in this game. Rival-mancing him is the best. He hates mages but loves you? Love it!

I like both but Fenris ultimately leaves me with a better feeling. I was never a fan of tragic romances.

Yeah, Anders' romance left a bitter taste in my mouth. Especially because at the end, you knew he was basically stark raving mad thanks to Justice. The way he just sat on that box after he blew up the Chantry, just...waiting.... That is not the sign of a sane individual.

Where-as Fenris you know has problems, but he's always been trying to let them go. Danarius just refuses to let him do that. Until, of course, it all comes to a head and you help Fen kill him. He's able to move on after that. You can tell. Because he has Hawke.

Okay, we know the Red Kryptonite Lyrium is bad. But what, exactly, is it?? It makes people go bat-sh*t insane, the Codex on the Primeval Thaig states that, we see it in Bartrand and Meredith. But what is it???

Well I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought so. Accepting what he did is kind of accepting an act by a not so sane person. I love him but I know he was not entirely in his right mind. Which is where the bitter after taste for me is.

And Fenris has puppy eyes! Who could deny my grumpy elf anything? Not my Lady Hawke!

I understand some of Anders' reasoning, but...really, only the Templars in Kirkwall were that...oppressive...Fereldan's Circle was...all rainbows and fluffy kitties compared to Kirkwall.

Yes, he has puppy eyes!! Love those eyes!

The Templars in Kirkwall were not getting enough lyrium apparently. Crazy bastards. Still doesn't take the bitter after taste of Anders. *sigh* I sill love my crazy mage and grumpy sexy elf!

Meredith was literally getting a lyrium overdose now that I think about it.

Well so did Fenris. I wonder what kind of ritual was performed in him? I just know there are evil mages and slaves in Tevinter. Now I want to know more.

I want a "Let's visit the Qunari and the Tevinter Imperium" DLC.

:D!!

Yeah, but with the "Make you Nuts-o" Lyrium...

I have to wonder if Fenris didn't have some magical talents before the ritual...would explain why having the lyrium infused into his skin didn't kill him... After all, Varania had magical talent...

That is true. Maybe he just doesn't remember and assumes any "magic" he has now or power came from the experiment?

Yeah.. I don't think he even wants to consider that he had any magical talents...

If he did he would totally trip out, leave you and then the tragic will compare to Anders'.

Yay =) I'm mostly in the non-spoiler-section but I was thinking about rivalmance Fenris. After shortly reading this tread I think that this is the next romance for me.

I would say to Friend-mance him first. Just so you can see the differences.

Eh, matter of opinion :P I adored rival path, liked it better, actually, though friendship one does have its moments :)
