Fenris: So, you are... living with Hawke?
Anders: What of it?
Fenris: Be good to her/him. Break his/her heart, and I'll kill you.
I like protective Fenris

So question. I know Anders will be Mr. Jealous and ask you about Fenris in act three during his Justice quest but will Fenris ever the same? I haven't seen him to so.I. need. moar. possesive Fenris! Fenris growling at Zevran was just a taste! I. NEED. MOAR. lol
When was Fenris glowing at Zevran? I must have missed that. I was hoping he would be more protective when I took him along the mage hunting quest and that Emile guy started hitting on me. Varric was funny though, just thought Fenris would add more to it.

I really like the pause function.
I even took fenris alone with me to Emile and all he'd say was "the fool doesn't know how to stay low." I swear my Hawke was glaring at him. >.>

Isobela can be turned over to the Qunari.
Anders can be killed after he explodes the chantry.
Fenris can be given to Danerius.
Merrils whole clan can be killed.
When you think about it, this game is kind of depressing.

I was so happy when Fenris killed Danarius, he was a creepy bastard. I also love how Hawke's scarf is on the rist where Fenris blows his head off

and puppy dog eyes are SO CUTE!

oh and Don't mess with Cynthia Hawke when you kidnap her brother. STUPID MAGE GRACE vrejnfs I saved her stupid life. That's what made me side with templars, mages in this game are insane other than my Hawke lol

What happens if you let his sister live? I never chose that option cause I never really felt like it my place to ask of that with the character I made. But, it just something I've wondered about....

I was tempted for a long time to side with the templars but after the Anders-incident and the entire (innocent) circle was blamed for the accident my Hawkette ended up siding with the mages. She also killed Anders and I wished there had been an option to just slap him and yell at him about "what the hell he had done". Or at least an option to give an ending reply before you kill him and he says his action will inspire others..
I wanted to spare him or let him leave but he wasn't really Hawke's friend Anders any longer just Vengeance in a husk formerly known as Anders and simply too dangerous to let go.
Good thing Fen wouldn't abandon her and stayed with her

You get different dialog regarding it, you learn a bit more about his past, but it doesn't affect the romance or anything.

Exactly my mage Hawke would set free the innocent mages who don't use blood magic, and the time she did set a mage free (and she got caught and sent to the circle) it comes to bite her in the ass, she just had enough. She also ended up being extremly angry at Anders for using her, and killing all those innocent people, and with all the mages doing blood magic over the years, she truely belived that things should be in order (not the way Meredith wanted it, but it seemed the only way for her).dirtsa90 wrote...
My mage Hawkette tried to help the innocent apostates who just wanted to be free but she had little tolerance for blood mages (she just thought Merrill was naive and tried to steer her away from her path). I loved that I was able to say the line about "how she wished she could go a week without meeting an insane mage" (or something like that). In the end she was so tired of all the fanatics among both the templars and the mages and just wanted them to go somewhere and kill each other and leave her and the sane/sensible mages/templars alone.

Good thing Fen wouldn't abandon her and stayed with her. A much better (and healthier) choice than Anders.
If it weren't for Fenris, Varric and Aveline, Hawke would have went insane. Fenris had his issues, but they were his own, he doesn't try to have a revolution, but just wanting to be free and not controled by a mage. (Instead he falls in love with one....sooo cute!
But, when Hawke ask her companions if she should kill Anders and most said yes, Hawke new deep down even if he was her friend, Anders was chaos and nothing good comes out of chaos, so she killed him even tho deep down she didn't want to.

I'm doing a second playthrough, goody-two-shoes trying to help everyone, keep everyone from getting killed... unless they threaten her friends. So Arishok dies, Hadriana and Danarius and Fenris' sister dies, etc.
I got Fenris to 100% friend before we killed Hadriana in act 2 so I got the glowy bit *grin*. So sexy. And then the banter with Anders and Varric and even Merrill, so satisfying! Yummy. Even if he dumped me.
But now I am in act 3, I forgave him, he gave me a kiss... and nothing else
My Hawke feels all sorts of lonely. Maybe I walked around too much in act 2 or I need to change around the companions more (always end up with Fenris, Anders and Varric/Aveline)... but there's not enough banter and nothing to make my heart go SQUEE.
Well, I have the sultry tone he gives me when I click on him, but does anyone know of other good opportunities in act 3 to have the Fenris romance brought up? There's only the gift from A Bitter Pill left... I want more Fenris action!!!
And while it makes sense that Fenris doesn't move in... and his mansion is my favourite place to go and change companions around and play with inventory... I wish he would say something whenever I went to see him or when I went home at night...
More Fenris!

incidently, the glowy kiss is there for both friendship and rival. What causes the non-glowy kiss is if he leaves instead of giving the glowy kiss then comes back later.

According to what I read if you're at 100% before the Hadriana quest is completed, you get glowy kiss. Regardless of friend or rival.

I promise you, what triggers the glowy kiss is if you get the kiss just after Hadriana's quest. There are two reasons you won't get that kiss. Either you do not give him the flirt option and he leaves or if you haven't finished his "questioning beliefs" quest. He leaves, but the next time you go to your mansion at night he comes to you, and you get the non-glowy kiss.

Cool, just wanted to know before I continue with my second play. My almost angelic mage Arisia hasn't recieved the Bait and Switch quest yet...she has no idea what she's in for.
On another note. I love when random things happen while playing. After a fight at the docks I found Fenris and my rogue Laira like this...

thought it was cute.

Merril teases Fenris about being in luuuuuurve~ at one point, too, but I'm not sure if that's triggered by the events of Act 3 or if having her in your party in Act 2 will trigger it as well.
It triggers after the sexytime scene, even if you leave Fenris for Anders. Too bad it doesn't change to him admitting it after everything is settled between him and Hawke!

I loved that party-banter, and the way he answers "There are no puppy-eyes"..Sure Fen you just keep telling yourself that.
I actually think I got that banter after him and Hawke had made up, but I can't remember.

With Anders the major sticking point for me is the whole Justice quest. He jumps down your throat for wanting to know whats going on with the whole potion thing. He lies to you about what his plans are (blowing up the Chantry).
Then, if you keep the romance going he goes on about how your children shall be raised in a world where mages will know freedom, and Hawke goes along with it. At that point I understood why Cassandra would have a less than rosy image of Hawke. She and Anders are sodding bonkers and need to be stopped.

Fenris' romance in my opinion is one of the best romances in-game (tied for me with Isabela). For once Ser Gaider wrote a character who doesn't tear my heart out. He tears other people's hearts out.

Oh man, I hate that so much. My Hawke kept pressing him to tell her what his plans were, because she's more than a little worried about the guy. And just because you don't immediately tell him you'll help him, he instantly goes all "Oh, do you don't actually care about the mages then? Some friend you are." I wanted to freaking punch him right there. <_<
