Speaking of pop-ups, my lil bro was joking the other day when i was talking about Fenris/Thane...he said that a pop-up might appear and say "We are sorry, Fenris couldn't bear the lyrium anymore and died. Poor sod."

I loved Thane but the whole dying issue made the romance even more sad..
Hopefully that is one side effect Fenris wont have I can deal with the lyrium and the rambo warrior thing he has become cause of it but him dying would be reallllllllllly cruel...

The Mighty Gaider has told us that touching puts Fenris in pain. A lot of pain. Other than that, no and may I suggest you avoid page 110? It is not the threads shining moment.

I just read through the 18 or so pages that popped up overnight, and David Gaider stopped by and hung out a bit (before getting grossed out). Why is it he only shows up after I've gone to bed? I always miss out.

Most notable tidbit about Fenris revealed is that his lyrium scars/tattoos are painful so he doesn't like being touched. And he broods.

Maybe it has more to do with people touching him than stuff touching him? Like the lyrium becomes an amp for other people's natural magic or energy or something and it would snap like a static discharge on him. I dunno. Time to hit up the Lyrium codex!



He can obviously /hold/ stuff since at least in the concept art his palms are covered in Lyrium lines, so I bet it has more to do with touching people. No high five for Fenris.

I was wondering about that earlier in the thread, too. :]

If his clothes hurt, would he prefer to dress a certain way [related to the bare feet?] Or maybe it's only sore to touch/be touched by other people. Either way, I would guess he doesn't like crowds or busy places [although with his past/memory/issues he might be fairly solitary and space-conscious like that, anyway?]? Are some brands/marks more sore than others? Is the pain they cause him a side effect of the procedure or the intended result? Maybe the pain lessens with time or will be constant for the rest of his life? Why do the markings on his arms and neck look different in that screenshot [maybe it's just a graphics reason]? I guess he's used to bearing the [physical] pain - more adept at bearing pain in general, perhaps?

It's only painful to touch his marking..? There are no markings on his lips ^^
