See, that's the kind of crap I was so miffed over with this game. Like when Fenris turns on you in the fade, he's just the same guy he would be if you met on the sidewalk earlier that afternoon, instead of the guy wearing your favor and family crest for years, pining away for you in silence. They needed to work harder on the depths and levels of their characters and the interactions. Anyway, I digress! Still kinda want to get him kidnapped.

 This story made me laugh, MRC. So cute!

*Bows* Too bad it's all true though. It's so very embarrassing sometimes-- but at least it makes smiles when I tell about it.

Fact, honey. Fact. And oh man was I OHMYGODALISTAIR! For real, Fenris wins. I don't even want to watch him get taken away on YOUTUBE it would make me so sad. Did you know that if you let Danarius take him you get a letter saying he's returned to his complacent former self because they've RE-wiped his memories. I almost cried just hearing that, let alone doing it!

I watched it on YouTube. I read the little letter afterwards.

I think I died inside.

I actually tried to get him kidnapped on purpose. Then I remembered my Carver was a Grey Warden so they kidnapped him instead.

Do they kidnap Carver if he goes templar? Sorry-- I sort of like Fenris getting kidnapped for RP purposes. Typically calm, collected, diplomatic mage!Hawkette finally snaps when people take her elf-- shows she really cares about him . Also nice to know that it took four men to subdue him.

So my mage has to let Carver die in he deep roads...kinda lame but I really want to see the kidnapping cut scene with Fenris.... Is that wrong? >.>

But, IMO it seems kinda far fetched that Fenris (or any companion really) would let himself get kidnapped.

@PunkNouveau13, they used blood magic. All they probabaly need was to refrain him for a little while to make him fall asleep....

Okay, so I'm romancing Fenris as a guy on rivalry - I'm at about 90 on rivalry and I'm at the point where I pick Templars or Mages. I picked Mages and Aveline stay with me but Fenris ran away - I'm confused as I thought he would stay if you're scale was over 70. Is he gonna come back?

Alain(or whatever his name was) tells Hawke that Grace had held the hostage with blood magic. Could be the "hostage" was just *surpriseattack!bloodmagic*'d. May not have even had a chance to fight. Or they were attacked by several to distract from Grace throwing some unpleasant blood magic spell or another at them.

I clicked the link, saw what it was and instantly closed the window again. I just can't make myself watch that scene. It was heartbreaking enough just to read the letter you recieve from Danarius.

As much as I want to experience Fen-kidnapped scene it won't happen. I can't kill my brother/sister when I know they can be saved and Fen has an almost permanent spot in my party along with Varric.

Wish Hawke didn't said "friend" as well. They're a little more then friends there...

I always see it in my head though as Hawke going, "Let him go!" and Grace going, "Oh, it all makes sense now. You're much closer to him then we thought... KILL THE HOSTAGE!" And then Hawke diving at her and attempting to rip off her head with her bare hands before anyone else can say anything. 

Well, much fancier of course. But that'd take a while to write down.

Fenris does not go quietly into kidnapping.  He takes down 4 of them while they try, and eventually blood magic is resorted to in order to subdue him.  He was really pissed with himself.

"I should not have let them take me."  <---He says that after he wakes up and looks so ashamed of himself it's cute  XD

Isn't there a way to convince him to come back? Someone told me that-- I've never personally had to worry because I usually have Fenris maxed at either friend or rival by early Act II because he goes everywhere with me.

I might have to go watch the kidnapping scene again (I actually have it saved right before getting to the autosave checkpoint  XD)  I just remember the 'agressive' answer to finding out that he's been kidnapped.

@Helen0rz, I did it once in the cave. Fenris didn't do anything. Then when Zev made the offer on Antivan Camp, Fenris snapped without me even go to the flirt option.

I wish fraps worked in my Dragon age, else I'd record the kidnapping. No idea why it doesn't. >.<

And I suppose calling him friend does have its uses there, aye. Else they'd probably kill him on the spot. I'd check what she says if I could avoid romancing him for one playthrough and then be lucky for it to fall on him being kidnapped.

They'll do WHAT?! Rewipe his...memory so I technicaly won't exist in his rewiped head?
