Well, Sebastion was going to bring an army to kick Kirkwall in the ass. I was viscount, technically, so I kinda had to go the more "no friggen war" way.
Sorry Anders but I do put the majority over one person who betrayed my trust.

This is my third playthrough, and the first time I let him live. I still told him to GTFO both after he blew up the chantry and when he came by to 'help' at the Gallows. I looked at the 'sure why not' dialogue and it just didn't fit with my Mage's personality at that point. She'd been Ander's friend until he black-mailed her into getting him into the Chantry unnoticed, and she mentions not forgetting that he blackmailed her into it. Then he blows up the chantry and shows up and tries to act all buddy buddy?
She went all "I don't consort with murderers," and he left with a kicked puppy look on his face.
I can't say I felt any guilt about killing him. At least doing so gives him some small measure of peace (his face actually smiles a little bit as he's dying...). The first mage trusted him and felt betrayed and the rouge was furious with him lying to her. >.>;

how could I? well, I romanced him in my first play through and...the guy betrayed me. I was siding with the mages, did all sorts of stuff for the mages and...he did that! I let him lived because I needed to complete the romance. Personally, I wouldn't want to be with a mass murderer who murders innocent people. I don't care how sweet and tender and gentle he is behind closed door, blowing up the chantry was just a dealbreaker for me.
well...killing him didn't really...eased the saddess that he broke my heart but that's ok, Fenris will fix that

By act 3 everyone knows, though, including Meredith.Lady Jess wrote...
Actually I think we hide that. I just got to Vincento, and where he tries to bluff that he has no idea about Feynriel, if you choose the "star" option (special) you get a glowy hand and show you are a mage and he opens up.
P.S. What a flat-ear! He's actually wearing shoes!

Yes, but I think the city would get upset if their champion was thrown into the apostate prison XD So being 'Champion' saved her arse...until the ending, when she's forced to flee the city. >.>

At first, I sided with the Templars to avoid pissing Fenris. Then I reloaded and found out he'd stood by Hawke (friendship-romance path) no matter what she chose.
I swear I really wanted Hawke to romance Anders when I started the game. It all seemed perfect: daughter of an apostate, a great warrior and...
There comes Fenris and his voice and spoils it all.
Even when he left her at the 2nd stage I felt tempted to get back to Anders, who at the same time seemed to be deeply in love with her but...
When I went back to the streets and found out that Fenris stopped saying stuff like "I'm yours" I just couldn't stand it and reloaded. I kept the save because it really hurt me to see how Anders seemed to have been thinking of Hawke all that time, and how sweet did it all seemed but I just couldn't let her.. erm... betray Fenris, to call it somehow. He might not be as expressive as the other, but heck, he proved to be carrying it too. I'd say it was a prove of love.
So I've tried to start a second PT to keep with that plan of mine but I just can't help going back to Fenris. I'm trying to get to Anders first, to see if Fenris questions you about him if you get to get him home after the mage. Something tells me that won't happen. But if it does, it's gonna be awesome.
You know, in ME (well, ME2 actually) I had it pretty clear because Garrus was the only and one option I'd like my main Shepard to be with but this has been REALLY hard to do. I don't know, and I'm rambling because I need to get this out off my chest to someone who might understand (and isn't my, er, real life significant one or will say that "it's just a bunch of pixels" -which I'm aware of and blah blah blah- or... errrr... both)
Wall o' text is wall o' text!

There's also a cute one where Fenris gets defensive If you romanced Anders but Fenris likes you too:Helen0rz wrote...
Got this banter a while ago. not word for word
Anders: I don't see what Hawke sees in you
Fenris: It is done.
Ander: I always knews she's got some sense left in her
Feris: Don't you make the light of it. It's the worst thing I've ever had to do
<3
Fenris: So... you're living with Hawke now?
Anders: What of it?
Fenris: Treat him/her good... If you break his/her heart, I'll kill you.
they're so mean towards each other
(If Hawke spent the night with Fenris, but moved on to Anders)
- Anders: You were an idiot to leave Hawke.
- Fenris: And you were fast enough to replace me.
- Anders: I love him/her. You have no idea what that means.
- Fenris: Do not bare your heart to me, mage, unless you would have me rip it out.

Yeah you hide it in act 1, but Bethany and Carver BOTH say after bartrand denies you the expidition that you need money and influence to protect you from being turned in/captured. At the end of act 1 you get that. So in act 2, you're wealthy and an Amell/Hawke and noone cares that you are an apotate mage. By Act Three you saved the entire city from the Qunari, and are Champion. Now the only person that cares about your magic is Meredith, because you're a threat to her power.

I thought that was kind of crappy of Bioware to force you to kill Anders just after you spared him. My last playthrough I sided with the Templars, spared his life, sparked war with Mr. Religious Pissypants who's too pansy to do the deed himself, and then, boom! I have to make Anders dead... again. It sat so wrong with me that I ended up muttering cusswords at my monitor for a few minutes.
At least Fenris has stood by my side no matter what side I chose on both playthroughs... *sigh*

That's how I felt about the default look, after all it's the look the Devs picked along with the voice, they were "meant" to fit together.. I also think default Hawkette and Fen look very good together.

Am I the only one who was impressed with Fen's knowledge about the Qunari? About how he defended her/him against the Arishok?
Even with his procedence, I doubt everyone in Tevinter does know the Qunari culture in such depth... Or do they?

He so loves roughing up slavers...and I so love letting him...
Regarding Anders...his idea of making slaves 'tranquil' and what happens to Fenris if you hand him back to his former master...is kinda creepy...and makes me think that Fenris's comment regarding how much happier Anders would have been in Tevinter might have been pretty damn valid...

I doubt it. However, Fenris spent several years with the Qunari 'Fade Warriors', so he probably picked up quite a bit.Mentatzoee wrote...

You have to side with them on 5 different missions to get that achievement. Same with the mages.
The missions are as followed:
Wayward Son
Act of Mercy
Enemies Among Us
Night Terrors
Best Served Cold
On the Loose
Showdown
I think that means if you show any mercy or neutrality during these events it will automatically null the achievement. I let Alain go during 'Best Served Cold', so I think that might have killed it for me...among other things...>.<;
