That's odd. I've always been able to initiate a relationship with someone else after Fenris, at least (and presumably the same goes for Isabela) because he's all, "I can't do this." (but really, he totally can, duh) Merrill and Anders need to be asked to move in or the relationship ends, because they're freaks, though, and that does cut off future boning, I believe. According to the wiki, there's a line you can pick after sleeping with Fenris that has the heart but apparently ends things for reals. I might've picked that, too.

Anders is defintely romanceable after Fenris. 

I rebounded from Fen to Anders. 

You can even tell Anders "He left me". During Anders' love scene.

Agreed.  I think he's one of the best looking of the guys in either game (now I'm going to get my Alistair card revoked, oh noes).  All except the bare feet.  *tears hair*

Damn. You have to be on a tight leash to romance him. You can't romance anyone before or after Fenris. I guess that's the price Bioware makes you pay for that sexy elven god. There's always a catch <_< Oh well no loss. I would never romance anyone else anyways. My Hawke wears a chastity belt with the words "Property of Fenris" enscribed on it. +10 to all attributes

Anders actually will ask you, after the two of you have sex, what exactly it is you feel for Fenris if you have sex with him after Fenris.  I had no problems moving from Fenris to Anders (aside from, well, my own gah).  I dont' know if you can do it the other way around, though.  You could try doing all of Anders until he and Hawke have sex,before doing Fenris' bitter pill and questioning beliefs quests.

Ugh, really? well...I guess it has to with me not consistently flirting with Anders. I mean I did, but I didn't do everyone of them that popped up.

yeah, that "so you're ending this" line. I made sure I didn't pick that. Perhaps it has to do with the fact that you must "end one in order to start another" kinda thing?

I always wondered how Merrill and Fenris put up with not having any shoes on, especially during the sewers quest. Gross!

There seem to be several reskinned Fenrises. This one is especially not to my taste, but, hey, diffr'nt strokes.

I thought the thing about elves not wearing shoes was some weird forum meme, but, no, none of them wear any goddamn shoes.

I believe that's a breakup line (I don't have a save there, though, to check, and I only did that in one game).  Basically, if you tell him that Fenris left Anders will say something like he's sorry that you got hurt but glad that you're with him now.

@Helen0rz: I don't have a vid. But yeah Anders will say "I thought you were with Fenris. Or did that beast finally turn on you." or something similar. You then have the option of telling him Fen's not a beast which ends the Anders romance, lie to him about you and Fen ever being together, telling him Fen dumped you...and possibly another choice that I've forgotten.

That mixed with the whole "it's so emotional and intimate that it brings back his memories" (Please gag me with a spoon) as well.

Especially odd with the rivalrymance.

That is why I refuse to look at them. Most of the mods out there make me glad I play on the PS3...

Then there are some mods(Like Ejoslin's and Charsen's) that make me weep for not being able to play on PC.

You can romance someone else after Fenris leaves you but if you have sex with anders or merril, afterward they almost ask you if you want them to move in with them. If you say no, they get pissed and it ends the relationship. If you say yes, you can't romance anyone else. If you are in an 'active' relationship with someone, you usually can't romance the other characters - especially Fenris. It's almost like he only like monogamy or something - you don't get the option of romancing him if you are in a relationship with someone else. 

But I think that all goes out the window if you can definitively end the relationship - but telling Anders you don't want him to move in, you are actually breaking up with him.

I don't think he assumes that. If you start a relationship with someone, he isn't like, "um, Hawke, excuse me, but we have done and I just kind of assumed we'd do it again in Act 3." He never says anything.

I don't think he assumes that. If you start a relationship with someone, he isn't like, "um, Hawke, excuse me, but we have done and I just kind of assumed we'd do it again in Act 3." He never says anything.

Indeed. Just defaults to the friendship dialogue. 

Would be kind of idiotic on his part to say anything seeing as he dumped Hawke in the first place. He only speaks up if Hawke is with no one else and honestly I find it hard not to shut him down. He's great as a friend and a rival but it's so OOC for my Hawke to say nothing about the incident for three years...

Plus the "Can we at least be friends?" line gives me the warm fuzzies.

Hehe. I'm afraid their mods are more Origins-based...
