Don't know if anyone asked it before, but does it only hurt him when someone touches him skin to skin? Or do his lyrium tatoos alway send signals of much pain no matter what happen? If so, Fenris could have troubles in a fight.

If Fenris' attitude about his past is similar to Shale - a roll of the eyes and a smart sarcastic remark - I'm keeping a close eye on this boy. You can have your angst elf, just don't be cryin' rivers of lyrium over it baby.

Personally, I hope that it's only skin-to-skin. He wouldn't be a very effective weapon otherwise.

Very cute I hope you end up coloring it, chibi's deserve color to boost their cuteyfullness, also that belt is pretty epic it alone could be his weapon

I'm not sure - I think the lyrium was burned into his skin as part of the process which made him into a living weapon, and that it being painful to touch is one consequence of the process [I wonder if this means they haven't perfected the technique yet?] That's another thing - do you think other Tevinter magisters have slaves/weapons like Fenris, or is he one of a kind? I wonder how many people were involved in the lyrium-burning.Angangseh wrote...
So, i was having think and what if Fenris' former master loved him but he did not feel the same way. This broke is former masters heart and filled it with rage. So they decided if they cant have Fenris then no one else can, therefore burning the lyrium into his skin so he could never be close/intimate with anyone else. Just food for thought.

I also wonder if it's just elves who are selected for this process, being exposed to raw lyrium like that...*shudder* humans probably can't handle it, and dwarves I would assume it'd take a lot to make it effective

He's pretty glow-y in the
concept art but not so much in the screenshots we've seen. Obviously
we've only seen a few screenshots, and obviously not everything from
concept art is carried directly over - I wonder if he glows in-game -
maybe only at certain times? 0:"

Yeah but the whole it feels like liquid fire thing---less of course the pain isn't as terrible as we think it is, it just might be slightly uncomfortable

Gaider said himself that touching him is excrutiating to the point he will punch someone, other then hawke.
