No, I've been thinking that too, wicked bad, but just didn't say anything. Let's be honest, he was a slave. That is pretty common in all forms of slavery. And Danarius' body language when he is allowed to take Fenris just seals it further for me. God, I wish I could unsee that clip... :'(

If Danarius did do that maybe it was only before the ritual so Fenris would have forgot. Hopefully. And maybe that's why he left Hawke after that one night. Danarius might not have used Fenris in that way after the ritual because he didn't want to mess up his "experiment", but this is just speculation. Even if this is true my Hawke will love him no matter what and have Anders revive Danarius so he can slaughter him again :devil:That is the only reason I would want that disgusting old mage alive.

I think I said something about this few pages ago, but I do believe Danarius may have done stuff to Fenris. Like tou said, it's pretty common. On top of that it's heavily insinuated by Danarius, and Fenris did not contract him. Interesting enough, Fenris said he's never done it, not that he can remember...so it's very conflicted. Either way, the boy was abused.

Yeah I got this eerie feeling that Danarius did more things he's not telling us. Specially when you say that Fenris just glows and looks really angry. I mean he was slave. Nothing stops him from having abused Fenris?

I'm messing with it now. I figured with our rivalmance it could go two ways.

1. Fen leaves saying it never should have happened and Kathryn sulks for 3 years and avoids any more entanglements.

2. She   goes to the hanged man to drown her sorrows and falls in bed with everyone out of spite. Except Merill because she's too innocent >.<

Fenris: Wait! (sighs) Fendhis. (Fenris runs to the wine cellar only to find Hawke with her arms crossed around her chest)

Hawke: Six years, and the bodies are still here. (sighs) You're worse than Carver, at least he only left his socks laying around everywhere. What am I going to do with you?

Fenris: Ignore this and get back to what we were doing?

Hawke: Alright, I'll go along with it, but only because you're so adorable when you're flustered.

Fenris: I am not flustered. (notices Hawke's knowing smile) Perhaps I am a bit flustered. (sighs) I am a weak, weak man aren't I?

Hawke: No you're not, and I can prove it.

Fenris: You're an impossible woman.

Hawke: I know, its apart of my charm.

Heh heh.  I'm glad this seemed like it came from the perspective of a sarcastic/charming Hawke.

How furious Fenris got for Danarius's comment kinda got to me there.  Like he was trying very hard to not think of that.  I was like "Oh, no he didn't..."

Then I realized that he totally would have.  Danarius is a slimy bastard.  He WOULD have molested Fenris and Fenris wouldn't have fought back because he was a slave.    Poor Fenris...

I don't know if there's a way to pit them against each other...but Anders seems really jealous of the relationship no matter what you do.  I just can't figure out if it's because he has a thing for Hawke, or if he just hates Fenris that much he can't understand why anyone woould want a piece of that.

What's more sad is that if you let his sister live, because she ran away, she'll tell Fenris that he says he didn't ask for any of it (lyrium branding) but he did; he asked for it, fought for it, just so that his mom and sister would have freedom. the final line was sad, she said now that she looks back on it, she thinks Fenris got the better end of the bargain.

Sigh...so I think memory wipe has to do with the lyrium branding, on purpose, for experiement purpose (so I guess if you give Fenris back, he get branded again?), and it gave him power. once he did that, Danarius let his family go, gave him a new name so that he'll lose all ties with them, make him believe he's alone. It's easier for Fenris to become Danarius's prey is Fenris feels he's got no one and does not have the concept of "love, freedom, family, etc".

Hey all, I have a question regarding Fenris' first quest in Act III, involving his sister.

After letting his sister go, I went straight to his mansion, but the cutscene where he tells why he left Hawke three years ago, blah blah blah, isn't triggering? Is this bugged...?

Egh, guys, had anything like that occurred during the memory he does have, I think he'd have a different reaction to Isabela's slavery themed sexy musings. Something less exasperated and more SHUT UP, WOMAN and that flirting would probably not have lead to a sexual relationship as it does/is suggested it does when you romance neither.

I think there are quite enough reasons to feel bad for him as is :\\

@Mel Anders had a go at Fenris in my playthrough, and believe me, there's  no way he thought I was interested in him.  It sounded like a jealous rival speech, I did wonder if it was a bug.  Nah, a bug?  Never ;-)

Yes, there's the "Are you sure about Fenris? He's nothing more than a wild dog" convo, and the banter bewteen them with Anders' very unkind comments about Fenris and you....Anders definitely has a bug up his butt about the whole thing.

Yes I did the "depressing" ones but not the one about Anders breaking my heart though.  You can use all of them. The awesome forumite I got it from I'm sure wouldn't mind. Maybe when I make an Alistair one I'll let you know~

Yes I did the "depressing" ones but not the one about Anders breaking my heart though.  You can use all of them. The awesome forumite I got it from I'm sure wouldn't mind. Maybe when I make an Alistair one I'll let you know~
