People has mentioned that you recieve rival points for taking Fen with you in the Fade. I'm pretty sure I recieved friendship points with him. I think it depends on how far you are on the rivalry/friendship scale.

If you're his rival he will blame you for knowing he would tempted and bringing him along on purpose.
If you're his friend he'll apologize for his weakness. (if I remember correctly)

i didnt gain or lose any kinds of points taking him into the fade =|
i did get friendship points when i turned down the sloth demon though.

So I just went to the Blooming Rose and tried to have Hawke banging a randomner. Nothing seems to have changed, and Fen didn't say a word.
(I'm replaying my main Hawke and I retook one of my early saves -act 2-. Bitter pill and questioning beliefs done, ending in Fen's changing his dialogue as companion *wink wink* -in almost full friendship)

I is disappointed about the lack of jealousy.
Have you guys tried this in the latter acts of the game? Does Fenris react at any of these things? I was expecting him to growl at the -erm- employee of the Blooming Rose like he does with Zevran, but I got nothing!

(On a side and offtopic-ish-y note, don't you think they've made Zev way uglier in this game than he was in the former? -Same with Alistair IMHO-)

God yes I thought Zev looked horrible in DA2 compared to Origins. Alistair I didn't notice any big difference about.

Not for me. I got +10 friendship when I tried that. I had to reload because I was so close to maxing it. I had Fenris at 90% rivalry.

I'd say Alistair was... thinner, to say it somehow. And his mouth wasn't as small.

You remember right, I just finished it with Rival hawke and got blamed for the whole thing. And eerily he said she was strong, but he hoped we didn't see the day I learned not all mages were.

hmmm...true that. I took him to the fade with me (for friendship romance, i wanted as many interaction with him that I can get) and he indeed apologized for his weakness

You need to do the questioning belief before "bitter pill" if I remember correctly (or maybe just before you go to your estate to finish "bitter pill"), then you can pick freely between both romance-scenes.

Oh, as I did it this time, Questioning Belief wouldn't appear until I finished The Bitter Pill, but I think I might be able to do the first one before going back to Hawke's estate.

No, people who have got that paticular scene ,including the uploader of the video, didn't have the meter maxed. I didn't do the friendship romance, but they say it has something to do with doing the questioning beliefs quest before the Hadriana thing. Did you talk to Fenris at his mansion before the Hadriana incident?

(Ugh, yes. I keep waiting for someone to mod his face so I don't have to look at him like that. It's just wrong. I got a mod for Alistair already, thankfully. He was horrible.)

they made Alistair ugly too. it's like someone accidentally dragged his face down and now the gap between his nose and upper lip is really screwed up looking

I actually thought Zevran looked fine in DA2. When that first screenshot of him in mid-speech appeared, it looked awful. But when I saw all the elven redesigns throughout the game, I came away thinking that Zevran and Fenris had the best looks for the models they were provided. I am indifferent to Alistair's changes. Not bad, not awesome. Poor Teagan looked a bit worse for the wear. His hook nose really seemed to be exaggerated this time. (I'm a hook nose fan -- just saying it seemed to be overkill compared to his original model. =p)

Someone should do that for the femHawkes, but my Hawke's a male so I am perfectly content. That's how it went down when the finally got back together in Act 3. True story.
