In my last playthrough, code-named '100% companion frienships', instead of knifing Anders (which I've done twice), I told him to GTFO.  Then he showed up when I went to support the mages and tries to act all buddy buddy.  So I told him to GTFO again.  He walked away with the expression of a whipped dog.

If you flirt with her she'll kiss you as a 'thank you' for getting her with Donnic.

I accidentally hit one of the flirt options during that quest when I was playing all of the responses and was definitely surprised when Aveline went in for a kiss. And my LI was on the team, too. D'oh!

The one I hit was the 'Why him and not someone else?' question. It was hidden in the Investigate section, darnit!

By item based side quests, do you mean like the Grimoire of the Apprentice?  And have our weapon out? Do you mean like we're still in battle mode or something?

I have a few nice items in the BE that I'm aiming for, but with only 5 sovereigns, it's a little difficult.

Yeah, Grimoire of the Apprentice, Eustice's Pomel, Locks of the Golden Fool, and the like.  I was SO upset, because I learned about this cheat after I was already in act three of my first playthrough...<_<

I play on console, so I only have to press A to draw weapons, and as long as you come to a full stop BEFORE pressing A, then you can keep pressing A until you max your level and have more coin than I know what to do with.  However, if you move ONCE, it will spoil it.  Also, if you're playing a rogue, it doesn't work with if you have a bow equipped.

I didn't have her in the party. All I did was pick that first flirt and none of the others and she still kissed me.

I'm not sure actually.    It was after finishing The Long Road.  I did choose a flirt option with her early on, because I wasn't paying attention to the icons.  I'm not sure if it's related to how much friendship/ rivalry you have with her or what.

Ahhh ok. I did just get the sweetest conversation about Leandra with her. I've taken diplomatic choices most of the game so I got to pick "yes" when she asked if she could tell me about her father. At least I think thats why it was there. Also, Fen's visit after Mom died, is it just me or does he only actually sit on one option, the "please just say something" choice. I can't remember, I just know he always says something about people talking to much in these times and it fades to black, I'll just RP theres some holding of Hawke there:P

She's almost in the middle for me.  She disapproves of my Hawke's shady dealings, but I'm usually nice to her in conversation and don't take her out and about much so she hovers in the middle.

I don't think he's bad at it.  It depends on the type of person, but someone just being there and not saying a lot of empty stuff is what I would want.
