I have played through with Fenris as main romance a few times, I feel really stoopid asking this but at what point is he at risk of being kidnapped??

^ you have to leave him out of the party in the Best Served Cold quest. Also, you have to have your sibling dead.

It was just a thank you kiss after helping her get together with Donnic. And I had Isabela in my party at the time, too.

I did all diplomatic replies in my first playthrough and didn't get the kiss in my first playthrough.  This time around, I did all sarcastic and I got it.  But, I'm guessing it has to do with her approval lvl.  I think we're much better friends this time around than we were in the first game.

And yes, she kissed me with Fenris in the party who was already wearing my favor at the time.

With Aveline It's a platonic kiss. She's beyond happy, and if you choose humorous options, she lives a little . It's not dependant on friendship per se. I got it on rivalry path with Aveline too.

I'm not an expert on Fenris so I hope someone corrects me if I'm wrong, but... in my first playthrough I romanced Anders (only because I didn't realize I could do rivalmances) and wound up with Fenris waffling back and forth between friendship and rivalry the whole game.  In the final battle, he left me, but at the end, I played the slavery card on him and he came back to fight beside me.  I'm SURE I didn't have either rivalry or friendship at 100% with him, so my guess is I had him at rivalry 50%+ to trigger him staying.  

So, I would guess a rivalmance would not mean he won't fight with you in the end, even if he does leave at the begining of that scene.

A romance isn't necessary to get Fenris to stay with you should you side with the mages, as long as either friendship or rivalry is above 50-60% (basically enough to trigger the friend/rival bonus in his companion specialization), and you have done ALL his personal quests, he will stay with you.

@Trivia - Oh good! Then what I said was right. Thanks for confirming.

And yeah, I never thought of the quest thing being an issue since I'm OCD when it comes to quests and can't leave any undone (unless their bugged which is driving me bonkers with some parts of DA2 and the incomplete-able quests).

I'm on my way to work. Lame. This means I can't play while occasdionally refreshing the page to see if you guy have said something new :'(

However, I started my third PT last night and I decided to give my new femHawke a boycut and silvery white hair and this crazy light brown eye color. I'm going out of my way to match/compliment Fenris here, because this made Bethany ugly and Carver with Nathaniel's hair.

And my roommate walkee by and look at my new femHawke and go 'i like your other character better', if only she knows....

As soon as I get to work i'm gonna change my work computer background to Fenris so i can stare at it alllllll day hahhahahaha I'm sure my bf wouldn't mind

Yes, if you are at 100% rivalry he stays with you through everything. He will also fight for the mages for you. And you get the blurb at the end that Hawke and Fenris stayed together.

You may be able to get him to stay if it's above 50% even. I have no idea, I have always gotten him to 100% either way just to be certain he stays.

It's called Dragon Age 2: Character swapping (Fenris)

I also saw a vid where Zevran is still loyal to the warden when he/she has died! I was a dialogue fix for him so bad! It's weird that Zevran was so in love with my Warden only to invite Hawke to sleepwith him Thankfully Fenris got all protective hehe

Hahaha no. I just want a FHawke in Isabellas place and Fenris in Hawkes place lol XD I'm pretty sure Fenris can pick her up even if she isn't as thin. He does have lyrium strength! lol

I would love to see merrill's scene with Fenris as maleHawke and female Hawke in place of Merrill so Fenris will be caressing femHawke arm!!!!!!!!!!
