I wouldn't mind if it was far into the game and I could still visit him. That is, if he isn't an LI.
If he is and his relationship wasn't developed enough yet or something and he pulled that stunt, then I would reload and never go to that place ever again.

If he ever finds out who he really is and where he came from, can you blame him?
Also is Fenris his real name? Or the name the Magister gave him after he got his lyrium tatoos?

But anyway, the reason why Tevinter Magisters probablu use elves in their experiments is because of these adaptable cells and genes of elves.

I think they genes are recesive and the human ones are dominant (at biology i am good xD). For example the colour blue (eyes) is recesive, brown is dominant. So when a parent has brown eyes and one blue eyes, it's less likely to have a child with blue eyes (but possible). What i am trying to say is that magisters might have used elves just because they think they are an inferior races or something...

Also it just occured to me...what if he is not available when you are a mage? Maybe Bethany must be alive...

I rather doubt that that wouldn't make sense at all; that's like saying you don't get Velanna if you're a human

I think Gaider implied that it was a name the magister gave him, he mentioned that 'fen' being the elvish word for wolf was adopted by the humans, so I construed that as meaning it's a name bequeathed upon him by his former master.

If Fenris doesn't like mages, why would he like Bethany (if she's even a permanent character)? Rogue!Hawke can have him all to herself.
