How, how, how, how, HOW do I get the jealous reaction in "A Murder of Crows"? Please help.
Don't take isabela with you. Flirt with Zevran in the first conversation. In the second conversation, Zevran should proposition Hawke. If the romance is still active with Fenris, he'll get jealous.
Edit:

HE'S A KILLING MACHINE. But I made him my enemy (somehow) and he's pizzed at me and is un-usable, unless the game TOOK him away as part of the story. Does that mean if I irk all my players on purpose, I will be fighting alone with my DOG?
Fenris is my mage's enemy as well (though they can't stay away from each other). He doesn't leave though. He only leaves if he's indifferent.

Do I still get to complete the romance if I flirt with Zev? Or does Fenris only get pissy if I flirt with Companions?

You're allowed to flirt with Zevran. It doesn't affect Fenris' romance other than the jealous line.

So, on my most recent playthrough (another mage rivalry) I took Fenris and Anders to the gallows for the first time. When Fenris asked if it was wise, I took the aggressive option and had a fantastic three way argument, Hawke and Anders against Fenris. It was GREAT. Also got me a lot of rivalry points. I've never seen that particular argument before, only the intial concern from Fenris. Actually, when it degrades into an argument, it looks more like he's questioning Hawke's judgement rather than being concerned.
Ok, give. When does this happen? Is it a specific quest? A general stroll to the Gallows? Tease!
Also, does Fenris leave Hawke in the end if she is his rivalmance? I mean if she sides with the mages in the endgame. Or does she still get the "We all left the Champion's side, well, except Fenris" spiel from Varric?

I took one flirt option with Zevran when friendmancing Fenris and triggered Zevran's proposition with Fenris's response. The romance completed with no problems. This time on a rivalmance I didn't bother and took Isabela along. That was funnier.

For those that are attempting friend romance with Fenris, I have another method: it requires you to be rivals with Merrill. Basically any of Merrill's personal quests, take Fenris with you. You'll score easy friendship points that way since Merrill's blood magic is a big no no for . For instance when you first meet Merrill, take Fenris with you. If you disagree with the way Merrill disable the barrier, that's an easy 10 pts in friendship with Fenris
Actually that was the easiest friendship point. And as Merrill haven't officially join the party yet, we don't have to worry about her rival scale
Yup hahahahahahha~! and anything with bloodmage related (like really, not stuff like Keran or whatever that kid's name is) and like someone said, anti slavers hahahaahhaah
so far in my PTs (on my 3rd), I'm not friends with Merrill, and I can care less about being friends with her lol

I realized if I was going to do Friend Points for Fenris, I might as well bring Aveline along. Act II started and Aveline is maxed and Fenris needs like 5 or 10. I love how they just agree on everything I do.
Aveline and Fenris were constant companions to my mage. So was Varric. I'd throw the others in for their personal mission (managed to get everyone maxed to Friendship once >.> Damn if I know how I managed that), but mostly it was these three.
I don't like messing with group mechanics so I mainly stick to one group and let the others fry. Big reason why Isabela ditched me first game. I'm thinking about just letting her go again so I can have different scenes to watch. And that Isabela just doesn't work with my Mage well. Merrill...has always been tricky. I've avoided her quests like the plague as it seems no one in my group likes what she likes.
Aveline + Fenris + Varric is a pretty good set up. My mage just casting **** like yeah. But I think I screwed up in her ability points early on. Tried Elemental but decided to go down a different tree, ugh my attacks are weak.
I wonder if it's like that with a lot of people
mine is ALWAYS Aveline, Varric, and one other person that's related or want to add friend/rival points. Varric is necessary for lockpicking and Aveline...well she hardly ever disagrees with me

It's just the first trip to the gallows (I reread my message and saw it was unclear -- I meant the first trip to the gallows where Fenris asks whether it's a good idea for you to go), and you have to pick aggressive options, otherwise Fenris is just concerned about going to the gallows as a mage. But Anders speaking up, talking about throwing fireballs, it was great.
And yes, Fenris stays if in a rivalmance at the end. I've never had him leave, friend or rival

My rogue Hawke got him to 100 pt friendship and romanced him. I don't know how she managed that, I must've picked all the right responses/actions by accident
I was somewhat shocked that the first playthrough romance ended so well, even though my rogue supported the mages. Except in the end where poor, naive Hawke sided with the templars to try and lessen the impact of Anders' brainchild. She was very afraid what his actions would do to the mages, and feared for her sister. Poor Hawke had no idea Meredith would call for the Rite.
So yeah, just like my poor, naive, heartbroken mage from DAO, my naive rogue also let herself be fooled by a friend. But Hawke didn't get trashed by her LI at least. According to Varric, he stayed with her, and that's all good.

-because of his voice
-because he's very genuine. He doesnt 'say' how he feels about out loud, he 'shows' you
-he doesn't give you any bullcrap in the very end, you know, throw you into the spike pit with him and claim it's for the greater good kinda stuff
That's just some reasons from my perspective

He's in Darktown in the abandoned mining tunnels when you start looking for your mother. I didn't get a quest marker for him, had to search a bit. But I also didn't get the glowy Fenris option.cinderburster wrote...

What act are you in? If you refuse to go with him after Hadriana the 2nd time you're ambushed, he leaves the party. He can leave the party in the final. I don't think there are any other crisis points where he'll leave..BY-TOR STORMDRAGON wrote...

He's awesome that way
I have everybody at 100% freindship right now. My rogue is a little skitzo.
And I have to say, loving the videos people are posting.....there are so many ways to go with the dialogue.

My mage is BEST BUDDIES with everyone, with out really having tried much. She's all "Merrill's k with the blood magic, cuz she's kind of like a blind kitten playing with string, all wrapped up^_^" and "Me and Issy are going to the brothel to sex and pickpocket, k:devil:?" and "Avaline's right! Bad guys are bad and need to go to jail:police:!" and "DOWN WITH TEMPLARS, DOWN WITH TEMPLARS. Right anders!?:innocent:" and "Slaves are bad, mkay. Lets make half breed babies fenfen:wub:" and "You owe me 50g from that last round of diamond back, Varric. Buy me a round and we'll call it even ;)" and even "Oh brother, stop being so melodramatic :P"

Maker's Sigh is a potion to zero-out your character's attributes and abilities. I actually use it on Fenris before taking him into the Fade in act two so he doesn't completely murder my characters...>.>; I've messed up my abilities/attribute points once or twice and this potion saved me. It's available from Black Emporium for sure, and maybe in act 2 in the Gallows.
My poor new rogue (different rogue-- this is actually my first male!Hawke, and he's all anti-mage exception to Merrill and waaaaay bi-polar-- cracking jokes one second and the next he wants to rip people's heads off) just learned the hard way about an hour ago. I brought Fenris into the Fade sequence there because, as usual, he's my MT. The rogue got one-shotted, and then I had to run around as Varric and hope Fenris didn't go *SMACK/SLASH/STAB ONE SHOT!*
It was very sad, as Fenris and Male!Rogue!Hawke are all buddy-buddy (and not in that way!)... I should've brought Merrill so she would've gotten taken-- I could've gotten her down easily. But I didn't want my rogue to get the rival points-- he's so close to capping her friendship meter...
