Speaking of final battle...if you romanced Fenris and you leave him out of your party to give him orders he answers the most curious little thing, well curious from my point of wiev anyway
I remember watching one of the pre-release interviews when the guys mentioned taking some inspiration from productions like "The Princess Bride"  Now those of you who watched the film ( a really good old school classic btw) should get the connection right away when I say that Fenris answers "As you wish"  ....at which point I totally melted


For those who didn't watch the film, long story short :

There was a farm boy and a very beautiful girl who he was in love with. Every time she asked him to do something he'd answear "As you wish" while what he really was telling her was "I love you" ( I do recommend to watch the movie for getting a "full picture" )

Now I have no idea if his response is different if you didn't romance him...I just can't resist him every time I play! That's why someone else would have to check it up  It's just something I found worth sharing. I might as well be wrong but it still warms my heart just beaing a possibility

Yes you can romance both Anders & Fenris, but for me when i tried out your order after Anders told me he was coming over i went to my home and ended up having Fenris come to my house first and initiate the sexy time ( the scene that occurs if you dont initiate the sexy time when he visits the house after a bitter pill), then once that finished i left my mansion and came back at night to find Anders & he called Fenris a beast to which i turned him down. I am in a Rivalmance with Fenris not sure if this effected the order somehow. Hope this helps

I am not sure if this has any effect on the Fenris Romance in Act 3 still on Act 2 i am assuming the Fenris romance will continue over but i am not certain at this point & will be reloading to my save without Anders kiss because my roguehawke could not do that to Fen or Anders. This is my second playthrough & first time romancing him, romanced Anders first playthrough but i have to admit im slowly being converted to a fen fangirl.. sigh his glowy kiss

How do you get this to go down. Instead of following Gamlen, go to Darktown? Then follow Gamlen?

Now I'm going to have to picture Hawke ordering Fenris to do random things. Take care of his/her horse, fetch things...
And Fenris answering with one of his smirks and quirked eyebrow "As you wish."

Dunno. 8D I spared him to start with in the first quest. Then I just... sort of accidently found him in the southern parts of Darktown.  Or somewhere there, he doesn't have quest mark.

He does a ritual and after that it fades to the place where you start fighting stuff.

If you let DuPuis go, and I believe you must also tell that one templar chick you believe he is innocent after you find Emeric dead, wait until after Leandra goes missing. Instead of going to Lowtown (night), go to Darktown. DuPuis should be by the Abandoned Mining Tunnels (way to the right side of the area).

I would do Ezio anytime of the day. I wanna be his Crisina but marry him and not that gambling dude I don't really care for Desmond, just Ezio lol!!!! They did well with Ezio because Altair was whatever to me :-/

Did you do the quests in that order tho? I was told once you do sexy time it flags the romance but I just wantedto make sure both of them would come over, Fenris first then Anders if anything

At least if in a romance ( well, kinda) he comes back to your estate.  i was actually impressed at how....real he was when he came back. He didn't try to be anything but who he was, didn't offer false sentiment to provide comfort, just was who he was and came by because he cared.  Being there, was enough.  He didn't distort that with contrived, though well-meaning, words.  My mage appreciated that.

I saw the Anders version of that. Man, what a difference. But Fenris's version doesn't look worse, it's who he is. Anders is just better at saying what's expected. xD

Better having someone there who cares though, then holding speeches about death.

Anyone else with there was a 'you don't have to say anything. Just hold me.' option during that scene?  I mean, I know I would rather have a hug than have someone try to comfort me with words.  Fenris and I tend to agree on filling moments like that with empty words...>.>;

Well Altair was a little bit cold and proud. Ezio is def charming...no wonder the girls in Firenze were at his feet :lol:He just spoke in French in AC:B, damn that was sexy! His italian accent was already making me drool :OToo bad he is almost 48 old now...and that we won't get to see him in another game. As for Desmond, i hate the dude. You get the chance of leaving the animus during Ezio's memories, but i did not get out ONCE. I don't care if a bomb falls on Desmond i want Ezio xD

Gascard DuPuis is getting his ass kicked by Fenris! I feel bad for killing him now...shoulda have kept him for later. But i did not believe a word he said.

Yeah I agree. I like Fenris's because he said it like it is. He didnt try and say stuff that's over the top, things that does not belong to him as a person. If that scene had no words, where he just sit down next to Hawke and doesn't say anything, I wouldve been fine with that too.

Anders, however, is different. He's much more affectionate and outspoken as a person/lover, so I expected him to say stuff.

Anders, great with words and all things verbal; whereas Fenris, better with actions (and therefore I treasure every little genuine things he says to Hawke, not that Anders is not genuine of course)

In the cutscene after you romance him against the wall (), there is a change.

For rivalmance, he says that this (the sex) should have never happened. To which I say, "Ouch."

In a friendship romance, Fen says that he wanted a chance to be happy, if only for a little while.

Playing a mage on a rivalmance is sounding more and more appealing.

Well given the fade out, you can imagine what you like about it. I kind of like how they did it, they didn't go too far with it and it leaves it more open to fit whatever type of Hawke you're playing.

I personally imagined that he stayed with her through the night while she cried herself to sleep.

I think having the LI show up during that moment was a brilliant move, I believe that for my Hawke it really solidified in her mind that Fenris still cares about her. During those three years whenever she thought about moving on she just remembered that night.

PS: The sketches you posted earlier are gorgeous, btw. <3

Altair IS proud, and they didn't focus too much in him as an individual. I didn't care for him for that. Desmond has absolutely no personality. They failed Desmond at that. He's pretty much a shell filled with his ancestor's soul, and that's it, nothing more.

Aye, The scene after "All the remain" with Fenris felt pretty much spot on. Fenris is there, but he almost seems unsure if he really should be there. It fitted very well since he had already left my Hawke... And inspired me a whole lot when it comes to why she doesn't give up on him just yet...

-sighes- Bioware must do something really awsomely evil with their games, because once again I find myself drawing stuff connected to the game instead of doing something that needs doing at home - like the dishes....
Was just as bad, if not slightly worse teh first week or two when ME2 came out last year.
