Yes, this is the only issue with Da2 I had - the 3 year time skips seem to make little sense and I personally would think 1 year t/s would have made more sense! Not just for the whole story arch but in a large way for the romances! The sexual tension that must have built up, esp a hawke still sees him a lot (teaching him to read etc) must be unbelievable!

Well, hopefully any dlc/expansions will fill in some of that. I, personally, would love to see a dlc open with Hawke interracting with their LI. So, for Fenris, he/she would be teaching him to read. Posted Image

For a rival, there's no teaching going on.  He's downright insulted by the suggestion!

Odd. I got he was insulted at first but he later apologizes and considers it.

Let me bust out a save. *digs*

Yeah it seems he first goes "ugh what is this teach the poor slave to read?" then he scoffs and goes "Ignore me. You are not to blame for my definiciences. I always wanted to learn more about Shartan. Perhaps this'll be my chance." (Severe paraphrasing).

No other way to learn how to read the book other than learning from someone. And Hawke just offered.

Lol!

I'm not asking for manly groans and moans because THAT would be extremely awkward. In my head, Fenris does not mind the idea of Hawke falling asleep in his arms, andthat behind closed doors, he's open to lots of ideas when it comes to intimacy (whether it's...a peck or a nibble, I don't know, imagination is where it's at!!)

You know who doesn't cuddle? Ashaad.

@tealsie
I think...maybe he was actually kissing someone? I can't picture anyone doing that sound without actually kissing someone. It's like...I think it was Shrek(I think it's Shrek)? There was this whole part with I guess Shrek confessing his love for Fiona, mike myers was saying it all his wife in the soundbooth so that it'll come out genuine Hahahahah

I am all the more glad that I friend-mance'd him, then. Posted Image
Hummm... then maybe there's something different for those who did a rivalry romance. Maybe a fight between Hawke and Fenris?
A... smoldering fight? Posted Image

Edit: ^^^: that almost make it more awkward to listen to. Posted Image
And forget Ashaad. I'd totally cuddle the Arishok.

@WMRina

Dry humping and that music, plus those facial expression, I had a hard time sit through the love scenes. Bioware needs to do what they did in Mass Effect 1&2...well, except the one where that girl Kelly was dancing exotically on the wall. That was awkward to say the least

I was going, firstly by the convo you have when you give him the book, and then when you click on the bookshelf at hawkes estate you get the comment 'fenris readinf is coming along, i should pick out a new book for him' so I asumed hawk3 was teaching him, unless you meant other things where going on in which case........naughty! Lol

I think we are talking semantics here.  Letting someone fall asleep in your arms or simply holding them is not cuddling to me.  Spooning and snuggling are cuddling to me and I just have a hard time imagining Fenris doing that.  I do agree that he would definitely be intimate and I could see him wanting to touch Hawke (a brush of the hand against hers, a hip, etc. as they walk around) when able after the 3 year awkward "we're on a break" phase.  But the term 'cuddle' and Fenris together does not gel much just as it wouldn't in reference to Loghain or Nathaniel Howe.

And yes, manly groans can be awkward... Nate bard yell anyone?  Oh the LOLs

Just to help whoever might have had my doubts regarding the slave Orana in A Bitter Pill.
After a few reloads, I noticed that what decides if you get friendly point or not, its the dialogue wheel before the one where you choose to give her money, leave her go, or take her as a slave/domestic.
Whenever I choose "I'm sorry" I had friendly points.
If I picked the middle option instead, something like "You are just a slave, they don't care about you", I didn't get any friendly points letting her go (with money or not).

Ummm...not really. Think it might have something to do with how high on friendship meter you are as well.
You see I had around 90 friendship on this one and I picked the "You're just a slave" option and still got friendship points....Now the wierdest thing ever...I wanted to try how Fenris would react if I choose to make her my slave (not a servant... a SLAVE!) and still got 5 friendship points!Posted Image Madness right?! I was like "Fenris...really...Are you kidding me??!!!" Looks like you can talk him into quite disturbing stuff as soon as your friendship is high enough.
Maybe I got this buged. I don't know I just think it's insane that he'd actually go for thisPosted ImagePosted Image
I had to reload it ofcourse as my kindspirited Howke could never do such a thing being with Fenris.
I do think however that giving Orana a job as a servant is the best thing you can do for her since she doesn't really know how to survive when faced with freedom. She hardly makes it to Hawkes estate...and you can see how helpless she is when you talk to her.

You just made my day with that in bold.  I have to agree 100%, especially because Fenris sometimes has the sweetest facial expressions, dialogue, and tone in the friendmance, I find it hard to believe he'd never do any cuddling...between other things.

Secondly, that's hilarious about Myres, it never occured to me.  That would definitely help, a lot.  Much easier to literally make out with your wife in the soundbooth than a cold hunk of metal.  Damn, now I wonder what Adam Howden's love life is like, lol.  Back into the gutter I go.

You get rivalry points if you're far enough in a rivalry, even if you give her a job.  more Neutral will give major friendship points for the same action.

I think it's once you are firmly established either way, he'll see the good or the bad in your actions and respond to that (helping an young girl who can't make it on her own vs having an elf slave/servant in your home).  Like the gifts.  If you're friends with him you will get FAR different reactions than if you're a rival.

Ohhhh, I see what you're saying now.  Okay, I can totally see that being in line with his personality.  If as some people have said comparing Anders with a kitten.  (Anders and I feel the exact same way about cats...I mean my family owns four, damn.)

On another note; Nathaniel Howe.  <3

Yeah I didn't expect the response to e so friendly when I gave him the Sword on my friendly mance playthrough. He was practically hissing at me in the rivalry one. =]

Wow...it has never occurrd to me that people take the word cuddling differently lol! Spooning is totally not in my definition of cuddling. Spooning is on it's own lol! Like falling asleep in ones arms, that can be cuddling to me. Like merrill's love scene where they lay on the bed after sexy time, Hawke stroking her arms and they were just talking, that's cuddlig to me too. Oops!

Much to his... frustration. I would have liked if he got at least one scene where you're being all sweet with Anders, and suddenly Justice happens and tells Hawke to gtfo or something.
Or maybe he just pouts and mutters at the back of Anders' mind. Posted Image

Actually, how these two handle affection is fitting for the cat/dog(Anders/Fenris) thing too. Dogs are affectionate, but they don't lie on your stomach and purr(unless you have a great dane, or something).

I'm on the fence regarding Fenris and the alleged snuggling. Part of me says yes, I can see Fenris as a snuggler in the right circumstances. Do I see him as willing to spend a whole DAY doing it? No. I think Fenris snuggles would be brief, perhaps even a little intense, not just laying and snuggling but more likely lots of touching and kissing easily accessible places.

I also think he'd blush if kissed on the cheek...

My imagination can keep running scenarios, but I should stop before I need to go take a cold shower or something...
