Really?  I did the rivalmance but ended it after the sex.  Hrm, not I'm tempted in the future to try out a rivalmance again and stick with it.

Actually, how these two handle affection is fitting for the cat/dog(Anders/Fenris) thing too. Dogs are affectionate, but they don't lie on your stomach and purr(unless you have a great dane, or something).

It's too bad romancing Anders doesn't count for both friendship and rivalry. Since(in a friend romance) Anders loves you, and Justice wants you to git.

Dogs also jump on you and lick your face  

And for the record, when we had our dog, I would totally curl up with her on the couch and go to sleep.  She was a mutt (with platinum fur) and totally thought she was a lap dog.  I miss her.

Omg! Looks like a rival romance scene because I didn't get that doing friend romance. And I KNEW IT!!! Him and Justice is taking over! It feels as though Justice is making him do things, or, heavily influence his decision making. Justice is mad...Nevada Hawke can influence him as well as justice can.. I wonder how you trigger the scene though, since that pillow scene happened inside his clinic for me

Hmm...didn't know about that scene until now.  Thanks for the link (why did I write lick at first?  Damn you all.), ejoslin.  That gives me a whole new perspective on Anders, and fits better with his personality from Awakening.

And I'm off-topic, oh well.

LOL  Long periods of petting and cuddling can lead to sex.  And for the record, when my husband and I first married, we would spend afternoons laying in bed and talking...and the other things.  Everyone needs some re-charge time.

What I like about the Fenris romance, is that 2/3 occasions (depending) he kisses you first.
