I went to Gascard first I had him take me there because I was lazy and no rivalry pts will be added for blood magic for that quest lol! I did what I could, made sure Varric was not with me and used special dialog option to convince him to side with me. Then after the cutscenes, I went back to darktown where I first found him and he was there crush crush crush!

And to keep Isabella, just be funny/sarcastic with her everytime you talk to her. Just talking and gifting will give you the 50% you need to keep her. You can always make sure whatever quest you're on will add pts to her and take her along

Gah.  I'm so far away from my PS3!  College is awesome but I could be playing DA2 instead of doing homework.  Honestly, I'd never get anything done if my parents let me bring the PS3 to school with me.  Gonna start my 2nd PT asap, though.

I accidentally went to Gascard first...so no Fenris heart crush on him.  Yeah...Next time that B**** is going to get murder-knifed.  I have a feeling Isabella is going to leave for good at the end of Act 2.  I've no idea how to keep her.  I've got two main missions between now and then, and she's still only at about 25%...
I knew I should have flirted with her.  >.<;

Will someone explain the Gascard thing for me? I don't know what you guys are talking about. Fenris kills him? Crushes on him?

Yeah, I noticed that too (sarcasticrogue!Hawke friendmancing Fenris).  He was practically the only person that laughed at her jokes.  He gets her, and that's why she loved him.  And she made him laugh, something I imagine he does little of.  Though now I'm picturing him giggling feverishly.  My brain....melting....

Fenris, Fenris, he's the man, if he cant do it no one can. He was my champion for the entire game pretty much. I found the friendship romance with him to be very sweet. I also find it ironically awesome that I did it with a mage character, mwahahaha.

So yeah, I heartily give my support of Fenris to this thread. I shall now vanish into the shadows to lurk once more.

If you have Fenris in your party, but not Aveline, and talked Gascard out of siding with his former master, then you can bump into him in Darktown again after dear old Hawkemum is dead and have Fenris hurt him lots.

If you have Fenris in your party, but not Aveline, and talked Gascard out of siding with his former master, then you can bump into him in Darktown again after dear old Hawkemum is dead and have Fenris hurt him lots.

Though, if you decide to kill him, it's Hawke and the murder knife...

In the first quest with Gascard (I think it's called Prime Suspect?), you must let him live and lie to the templar lady about where he is (if you tell her, they will have captured and executed him by All That Remains). Then when All That Remains triggers, go to Dark Town, and he'll be by the cart in the southern-most part. He'll offer you a blood ritual, which you can use to find Leandra. When you reach Quentin in the Killer's Lair, convince Gascard not to join him. You can't have Varric with you or he'll kill Gascard in the lair. Then once the quest is done, go back to Darktown and he'll be in the same place. There you can confront him.
