I think some of the companions need more saving than Kirkwall itself

Yeah...I guess. I mean the outcome is gonna be the same you know? Good intention with bad methods kinda auto voids the good intention part, like Anders, you know? I think all the companions have intentions with what they believe in and are shaped that way based on what they grow up knowing/experienced and can only react generally that way because that's the result of those experience.

Kara: Fenris, I assure you, you can relax
Fenris: No. You are a mage, I must remain vigilant
Kara: Yes, staring a hole through me will certainly prevent me from become an abomination, or keep me from being possessed by a crazed spirit

Another possibility is of course that his sister could be lying straight up about him wanting the markings. She sure doesn’t seem like she holds him in any high regards or care much about him, so why would she really care to tell the truth to him? Then again why would she bother to lie?
… Just a few musings XD

Fenris, you're looking too high. That's the back of my head. Look lower. Lower...lower. There. That's what you were trying to stare at.
Bah he's still cranky, it's only act 1 so he needs time.

We discussed this before, but I don't see it as an order- you're imploring him as a friend not to do something in the heat of the moment which (as I saw it) you think he'll regret.Arlias wrote...
Honestly, I let his sister die because I believe my companions should make their own decisions in times like that. It's their life. If they asked an opinion I would give it but I wouldn't be handing out orders on stuff like that. My Hawke basically put up his hands and was like 'Hey, it's your family, your decision'.
The only time my Hawke prefers to step in is if the game forces me to choose, or a bad decision will endanger others. (Like, my Hawke kept the tool away from Merrill.)
...aaaand, I was

My smile is not fading. I'm in the school's reading room right now cheesing. That is made of awesome, but I probably shouldn't say that because it's too mainstream.
