That's a shame then, really. The way he goes on and on about hating mages, every mage is a potential menace, magic taints everything it touches, it would be nice to have him comment about the love of his life being exactly that which he thought he hates the most in this world: a mage.

Bummer.

I think he takes the Sten stance on things. You're an exception, a total fluke.

Herr Uhl

True enough. According to what I read (haven't had it happen to my Hawke), he also convinces the Arishok that femHawke isn't a female at all.

Ah, thanks. I was hoping that something was said, because his comments against magic and mages are very angry and powerful. It would be strange if he had nothing at all to say about his love being a mage.

There are some instances, but they are quite rare, minus the very first interaction with the mage. (loved the 'find out' response. It's flirty, even though it isn't designated as a flirt :))

There is abovementioned Anders banter, where Fenris points out that Hawke is a strong mage.
Rivalry romance post fade apology is eerie where he points out that one day Hawke will realize that not all mages are as strong as she (he) is.

First time Fenris is at the Gallows, he voices concern/questions judgment depending on dialog options.

And the bitter pill part in post Hadriana talk is a whole lot more bitter if pc is a mage and a rival :P

Yes! I loved when he defended her against the Arishok!

And what about when he talks to the Arishok in the Blackpowder promise (promise or courtesy, I can't remember well), that the Arishok replies "The Qun, from an elf?" and something more.

Have you had this one too?

And that's the only thing that's stopping me from romancing Thane, he looks like a lizard frog an I HATE frogs.

@cinderburster
Yes to Garrus! But I would still pick Fenris over him tho

@ejoslin
Maybe I should get origins on pc now, should be cheap now yeah? And then I can get all sorts of mods and whatnot to get things done the way I want :-/ hope it's not too hard to figure out, my experience in modding is just Sims 2 and 3 place things in folder kinda stuff and my ds and that's it. Man I would love for a playthrough with comments mostly from Fenris

I like that. I just have to manage a rivalmance with Fenris - somehow. I fail at this so bad, it's not even funny.

I also just stumbled into a thread where Anders' writer says that if he (Anders) is rivalmanced fully, he can be persuaded to fight for the templars. Darnit, I'm looking at 2 more play-throughs here. And it's spring.

*sigh

*wavies to Uhl*

Hawke is the exception to the rule.

And yes, Fen does convince the Arishok that Lady Hawke is not female. I've had it come up twice so far.

Got that one the first time I played through, because I had Fenris prior to completing the black powder promise  :P  I LOVED it.  My mage was like "Please tell me that helped?"  LOL  Every time I hear the option for more Fenris dialogue or special moves, I'm like YESSS!!!  Need to try that!!!

Like Fenris giving the slaver (and later Du Puis) a little heart squeaze.

I totally loved that moment, haha!

But I was really sad because I got it in my second playthrough, I want it for my main Hawke, even if it won't be anything flagged to import in DA3... *rolls eyes*

And doesn't Fenris say something in Hawke's mother's quest or related to it afterwards? I remember something like "See what mages/magic have done to Hawke" in a conversation where Anders was too, but I can't remember well.

It's a random snipy banter between him and Anders. They argue about magic (again) and Fenris brings up Hawke's mother to prove his point. Which I thought was hurtful, but hard to dispute at the same time.

Yeah he mentions leandra death to Anders , when they chat.
And he mentions it again to Hawke after the Alone quest.
Actually i really didn't like it , taking that death as a exemple to prove a point makes me want to go "wait a minute there..." and slap him in the face.

Meredith does the whole "look hawke , magic kills your mummy!!!" thing ,wanted to slap her too.

"I'm having a growing lack of disgust for you" is something I'll definitely be using in RL. That utterly and completely cracked me up.

DA 2 has quite a few instances where I laughed out loud.

Varric: "Any priest that prays for my brother will instantly burst into flames."
Merrill (completely serious and taken aback: "Oh no. I didn't know being a priest was so dangerous."

Wish to slap aside, I think what really makes the comment drive home is to hear it from someone who you came to love or respect (however begrudgingly if rivals).

For me, when I heard it from Fenris it was hurtful, but it did have an effect of seeding a plant of doubt. 'what if he's right? what if he's been right all along?'

Meredith, i just wanted to kill for that.

Ditto.

Except at the end when he was like "Hawke has the right to challenge you to a duel" or whatever and my squishy mage Hawke is like "DUDE!  SHUT UP!"

You, my friend, are creeping me out by sharing way to many preferences when it comes to this.
I never did quite manage to romance Thane even when I tried, but that was Garrus fault for being so freaking awsome that the poor drell just never had any chance.
I think sadly Anders is in the same position for me, he just doesn't stand up to Fenris level of awsomeness. But in between Garrus and Fenris... that one is hard ... I would say Fenris at the moment, but he's still have that shiny newness to him, so we will have to see in time if I find him as interesting as I still find Garrus to be...

I want to be like Aimo when I grow up.

(She's also got the best comics for Garrus fangirls!)

Edit: Honestly, it makes less sense to me that Hawke would flirt with Zevran just after making up with Fenris.  After all, she's been waiting 3 years for him to come around -- why risk blowing it by flirting with this guy?

How can you not flirt with Zevran?  Posted Image  I just don't think about it too much.  I figure an unattached Zevran would hit on her anyway, and it's way too hot seeing the two sexy elves chest-pushing over your PC.

^That...

I know. XD
I felt the exact same way with my Rogue, especially since I actually had to get into close combat == taking hits to score any damage.

Aaaaaaand... there we go... Another Scene for me to write out once I am done with cooking dinner....
You people will kill me with pointing out some of these epic moments that I then get some inspiration to expand upon....

I liked Thane.  The idea of hallucinagenic kisses make me laugh (It said 'oral contact with drell', which means at least one of my Shep's was trippin' balls while fighting her way through the collector base  ).  I also liked Garrus, who was awkward and sweet.

Still, Fenris...is Fenris...and I'd tap that before going after Alien tush.  No matter how supportive the waist or tight the pants  :P.

I realized that I dig audio-porn after playing too many video games, and as sexy as Garrus/Thanes voices are...
Fenris wins.

About Leandra ,the thing that drives me mad when fenris and meredith mentions her is they just use her death to prove their right.
And they just forget about her loving a mage , having mage children she adored.
I mean "don't go all chantry on me when the woman spent her life runn ing from it to be with the persons she loved"

And yes , she was killed by a mage , but mostly by a psycho crazy monster.
The guy was so crazy , if he wasn't a mage he would have use a knife.
