Or, er, what does she say when you bring Fenris there, by the way?

Can't remember it all exactly. Fenris calls her a witch.Mentatzoee wrote...
Then Flemeth isn't evil? Or the Maker is evil!

Something like
Fenris: You are no ordinary witch.
Flemeth: Figured that oout yourself, did you?
Fenris: I have seen witches, demons, and abominations. You are none of these. What are you?
Flemeth: Interesting lad. The chains are broken, but are you truly free?
Fenris: You see a great deal.
Flemeth: I am a fly in the ointment. I am a whisper in the shadows. I am also an old, old woman.

Also, I don't think Fenris will return with a prominent role

You dont think we'll see Morrigan and her god child?
I think Flemeth serves a bigger a greater purpose. She's evil but I don't think she's like...I'm gonna drink your blood and slaughter your entire family evil. Everything she does, she pretty much knows the outcome to an certain extent. I'm waiting for her and sandal's arrival. I just want know how sandal got his 'magic' and why felmeth has to be a creeper standing next to sandal's bed at night.
I always figured she was/is an Old God. Which could still be the Dread Wolf, since the lore is all linked, as you said.ZombieGeisha wrote...

Could be a variant of the Dread Wolf? Alot of lore has links intertwined with each other.
Quite cool having such mystery around her.
Yeah, I've been thinking she could be an Old God bound into a humanoid form...but...there's been 5 Blights out of 7 Old Gods....if she's an Old God, she would have to be a previous Old God...Tealsie wrote...

She said the soul of an old god, which would escape from the archdemon when the beastie is slain. Any blood relation she may or may not have to Flemeth probably doesn't matter(it might help, but you might be able to the ritual without a relation to Flemeth).elenilote wrote...
Hm. Well didn't Morrigan want the ritual so she would have a child 'of the blood of the Old Gods'...? Because if Flemeth was an Old God, and she is Morrigan's mother, then logically the 'Old God' bit should apply to Morrigan too - she would not need a horrible ritual for it?

I'd like to say that God baby will be there, but some people did elect not to do the ritual in their DAO games. The writers would have to pretty much ignore that aspect of some folks games to bring God baby into the picture. I'm not saying they won't do it (because hey, they can play fast and loose with the story if they want... it is their story, after all).
I still think one of the best things they could do in DA3 is reveal that Sandal has the spirit of an old God in him. There is just something about that idea that makes me smile. Bodahn did find him in the Deep Roads and all.

SOUL of an Old God. That is Urthemiel's soul when you kill him. An Old God cannot truly be killed. Souls just transfer to new bodies. Since you are nearby, his soul would have gone into you. But with Morrigan's ritual, his soul was cast into her and her unborn child.
