Eeep, um, bad timing on the ffnet account.  There are 'issues' atm with adding new stories to the Dragon Age archive there.  Just a heads up and please do not let that discourage you if you find you can't publish things once you have them ready to go.

In so far as what to write, I would recommend writing where ever your mind takes you. 

Also, if people have Fenris fic that is on ffnet and want it added to the Fenris archive on there, let me know.  I'm one of the staff on that comm.

Don't worry. If I can't post it immediately on there, I'll just post in under my DA account. Or even on my blog here.

And I have something specific in mind for the boa that would not be OOC for Fenris.

Twofold Black made a recolor of Varania if anybody here is a PC user and was as bugged by her appearance as I was.



Family resemblance is much more noticeable without the distracting pale skin, no?

ARGH! I knew when the nice man at Gamestop asked me if I wanted to pre-order DA2 for the PC and I hesitated and thought about it for a second, I should've said yes. Not, "No-- PS3 please. I played Origins on it and my save files are already there."

That's going to drive me crazy. Just like the mods for Oblivion that I couldn't touch drove me up the wall for a year before I just got pissed and went out and bought Oblivion for PC so I could use the mods.

Well, she does now LOOK like him, somewhere. YAY!

I can't decide if I want the red or black hair but god she looks soooo much better now and actually like his sibling.

It was the red hair that threw me more than anything. Which is odd, since white is in all likelihood not Fen's natural hair color.

Well, sometimes drooling is better. We don't have to deal with mods when they go bad. 

But a recolor mod couldn't really go bad... could it?

Dont think so. I mean, the whole point with modding is to mess with things...so if something goes wrong... *looks at backup saves*

The only mods I really bother with deal with hair styles for my PC, whether or not my charrie can have freckles (I luff them long time), and maybe getting some nice armor. Other than that, i stick to my basic game.

I just bought the PC version. I've already played through twice with the console, but now the disc wont play so i bought the PC version instead. I hope it's as fun to play as you all say!

Although I'd probably do something freaking with the eyes. They'd really stand out. I have a thing with using the palest gray setting I can get for the eyes (character looks like she's a little blind there!) and outlining them with lots of dark red or blue. Which I've been on the DA Nexus and seen a mod for DA2 that gets like... a lot of dark red and makes the eyes much more vivid.

Yeah, I'm not big on changing companions or NPCs. I've played the game long enough to be used to their appearances. Its probably why I can't use the rest of the presets, since that would change Hawke's family.

if there's a mod to make alistair not ugly, i'd do it in a heart beat.  genetics mod would be great because some some of the non-importance NPC, they're pretty much straight out of Sims 3 without modern clothes on. Especially that guy Fenris killed to get info on whereabouts of Hadriana...the dude is totally Sims 3 and very....weird...

Alistair's appearance in DA2 isn't a problem for me. It surprised me, actually, to see that a lot of people were bothered by his looks.

Zevran, on the other hand....
