Couple of Fenris related speculative questions:

Do you think he would ever be mistaken for a mage because of his magic fisting thingy?

Also if friendmancing Fenris and Hawke is a mage and she got taken by the Circle (not that they would be able to) do you think Fenris would do? Do you think he would try to break her out? Would he just leave her there?

Honestly, I think he would break Hawke out -- but I don't think Hawke would ever allow him/herself to get taken to the circle to begin with.

MageHawke is the one mage that Fenris doesn't feel is a danger.  And he loves him/her.  He'd rather live life on the run with his apostate than be without him/her.

I just checked the wiki (and edited my post above) -- the star icon is for diplomats only.

Aggressive Hawke gets a different star, with a line along the gist of, "If you stand between me and my mother, I will destroy you."

What was his response? He was executed by the templars in my aggressive playthrough so I never got to play the scene out.

Well , i sure hope Fenris would help hawke .
I mean he kinda want you to help with the danarius thing.
Now it depends how many years they would be friends , i guess the first years maybe he wouldn't bother.
But after the love thing , i have no doubt he would rescue her.

He backed down, apologized to Quentin and helped Hawke in the fight. Guess he's not as dumb as he looks. :P

Re: Presuasion.

Buh. I knew there were some downside playing sarcastic personality. It's still my favorite one, but missing out on Fenris related scenes sucks :P

Oh well. Varrick arrowing the bastard is kinda cool too :)

Fenris has tiger blood and bi-winning or don't you know that? :D

Tiger blood and Adonis DNA. Sorry Charlie.

(Couldn't resist adding to that. That guy...)

heh, yes, well, that is all true too!

I seriously have Fenris in the blood. Haven't been this inspired to write some FF since Atton Rand. Fen is actually probably the best successor. I can't even imagine romancing Anders now LOL. I loved Zevran of course and Alistair had his moments, but I think Fen tops them all.

EDT: and it's not just because he's hot and a bit mysterious/angsty. He has so much great dialogue wherever you take him, such great insights about everything. It's really interesting just having discussions with him and hear him debate with others.

Question... what happens when you turn down Fenris after he marches up to you and says he's been thinking about you? Just curious.

My diplomatic Hawke rivalmanced him, I just tried it and she says, "I don't remember inviting you." He pauses, then furrows his brows and says, "As you wish." and leaves.

The things I do for curiosity. :(

EDIT: And the middle heartbreak icon that says "now is not a good time" got this:

Hawke: You have the worst timing.
Fenris: [sad face] That is nothing new, I fear. I will leave you be.

THAT WAS EVEN WORSE.

I pull that kind of cr*p too :crying: ^ That's just tragic..............

Haha, I rejected Zevran's proposal just so I could fraps it and put it on youtube.

I did feel dirty afterwards :/

Edit: Actually, I did every single Zevran and Alistair breakups just to see.  Zevrans were sadder but...

I cannot bring myself to break up with Fenris ever since the one playthrough where Hawke ended up rebounding on Anders.  But that banter, where he tells Anders he'll kill him if he hurts Hawke cements it for me.  One day, perhaps, I'll see these firsthand.  But...  NOT YET!  Though I am curious about act 3 and telling him it's too late...

LOL I am glad there are people will to experiment. I don't think I could do it. If my Hawke doesn't end up with him I might cry.

Dude, seriously? Fenris would tear the Gallows down single handedly! He'd go all lyrium on those Templars and probably murder half the mages out of principal, but he would get her the **** out! Woohoo! :)

Oh, excellent. Been planning on restarting my canon run as aggressive when we get the patch. (I was so anxious to see what came next that I didn't really look at the vendors other than pretty robes and didn't realize I could get companion upgrades and extra backpacks -- yep, finished the game with a painful 50 bag slots. =p) Diplomat was interesting, but I really dug aggressive Hawke a lot more. Sarcastic Hawke has her moments, but it's not really my gaming style.

Yeah, if I had to pick between yet another scene of Fenris squeezing a random NPC or Varric taking matters into his own hands, I think Varric would win out. ;)

For what it's worth, I enjoyed sarcastic Hawke acting like she was best friends with the templars and lying about the blood mages being wiped out. It was nice to not have to get into a fight and letting the mages go free.

Hawke may be the one mage in all of Thedas Fenris would happily kill for. Well, if you're maxed friendship or rivalry. ;P

Ahahahaaaa oh man.  Rivalmance Fenris would rescue Hawke just so he could yell at him/her.  (While secretly being worried as heck the entire time.)

I think that the rivalry mance with Fenris is brilliant, especially with Hawke as a mage. Anger and stubborn beliefs really to make the whole Hawke slamming him into the wall thing that much more appealling :D

I just have to say it... if default Male Hawke looked as good as he did in the trailer IN GAME, I would totally make out with his face. And yet still give him the boot for Fenris...

Sorry, just caught the trailer again online and thought, damn he's smokin. :)

It was a very selfless thing to do and we appreciate your efforts so we don't have to (I've watched your Zev videos, but I think you know that :))

Oh yeaaahh, so much sexiness in this game.

And speaking of swords, what is it with sexy guys with white hair and massive swords in RPG's?

That alone makes it really hard for me to side with him and the mages. Really both sides are the same, people just seem to have more trouble with killing nameless innocent mages than nameless innocent templars. I think it may be the stormtrooper thing, you see someone in a uniform and it's easier to dehumanize them.

Also...I think when there's supression involved, it is VERY easy to sympathize with the suppressed party and will find logical reasons to justify their actions

Ryzaki wrote...
He just has to be a martyr. It's sad that I can't just hand him over to Cullen or something. Frankly I think tranquilizing him (if it's even possible) would've been a far more fitting result of his actions than that lame stab in the back.

I don't know if I would consider him a martyr...he tries to be, but I think since Justice is involved, I just think the guy is crazy and was heavily influenced by the voice in his head

Batorific wrote...

i don't think he does it purely out of love.  he tends to be submissive and prefers to be led.

I dont think so...he's not the leader type but I dont see him as someone that just..follows. He was submissive to Danarius but he broke outta that cage

nah...because he doesn't carry a staff, he carry a large doubled handed sword/axe...that should be an indicator

I did that just last night.  I'd record it and put on youtube, but I play on PS3...

That being said it was something I wouldn't do again.  This is just a paraphrase (I'm going from memory here, meeples) but it plays out something like this...

Hawke: Whatever happened between us was a long time ago..
Fenris: *looks away kinda sad like* I know, but I had to ask (I think he might have said he understood).
Fenris:  I hope we can still be friends at least.  That is something I have always valued.
Fenris:  I apologize for the trouble I've cause you (something like that).  Clearly I owe you more than I realized.
That was on my mage rivalmance!  Never doing THAT again...I want from  to :crying:

Needless to say I reloaded and chose the options where they get back together.
