So umm, hi! I think this is probably the best place to find an answer for my dilemma. So I totally forgot to take Fenris to the wounded coast to initiate his personal quest in act 2 and I just remembered now that I'm in act 3 and have no saves to go back to before fighting the Qunari T____T does that mean that I won't be able to complete Fenris' story? Or will Danarius still try to capture him but without the involvement of Fenris' sister? Thanks for any help.

*jaw drop*  I...am not sure how you managed that  o.o;    However, I'm pretty sure that if you don't complete his personal quest in act 2 then you don't get his act 3 quest...I'm not certain, tho.

*jaw drop*  I...am not sure how you managed that  o.o;    However, I'm pretty sure that if you don't complete his personal quest in act 2 then you don't get his act 3 quest...I'm not certain, tho.

 I'm doing a nightmare run and having Fenris along when I'm a warrior myself is just not very productive, so I've been leaving him behind this whole playthrough and completely forgot that to start his quest in Act 2 you needed to have him in your party while heading to the wounded coast.  Now I feel like starting all over again  but I'm too far ahead for that, oh well, I guess Fenris just won't get to meet his sister and kill his old master

I really hate that A Bitter Pill is the only event-triggered quest in the game, a lot of people missed out on a ton of Fenris' characterization because of that very fact.

I don't think you can do his Act 3 quest without the Act 2 quest, since he learns about Varania from Hadriana.

This is why I do Night Terrors --> Blackpowder Courtesy --> Offered and Lost --> ALL companion quests and whatever side-quests I can get --> Prime Suspect --> All That Remains --> etc.

Never miss a thing.

Think of it as only true Fenris lovers can do his quests. It is our personal quests the developers have given us.

Fenris slaying deep roads dragon in 1:35

Pretty sure that playing as Fenris with a Mage hawke yields the fastest killing team possible in most situations.  Does anyone else here actually play as Fenris?

Usually if Hawke falls in battle I'll play as Fenris.  I am, unfortunately, VERY bad at being a warrior.  Rouge, sure.  Warrior, no.

I wish if you took him to the Fade, that there was a little more diologue when he comes to apologize afterwards....especially if you're playing as a mage.

Yeah...that would be nice little change to see that mage Hawke kinda have a "well...?" thing with him, and his reply will be different depending on friend or rival romance

I think so, too.  Although...I admit to being tempted to bring Isabella and Anders this time along with Varric.  I haven't seen them betray me yet.  I also haven't heard the 'big boats' comment

I wish there was more dialouge generally. What a voice..

Awesome LI, especially the wall-scene-glowy-thingy. Hard to be angry at the snarkiest man on earth, when he writes such characters.. and such scenes.

I would wish some more content, we would at least get a DLC about him. Usually they don´t conitnue romances in AddOns. (

Just saw something priceless....Aveline and Isabela were having the the "thumb" conversation and right after Isabela says I win....Fenris laughs. I am still grinning.

Geez this thread moves fast! Anyway... I am taking a break from the game for a few days, gotten a leetle too intense lately... planning to start a new game maybe at the weekend and see how goes. Enjoying reading all your reactions and comments though (

Maybe the positive reaction to LotSB will change that.  There was at least acknowledgement of them, if not advancement.

Taking him to the Fade is almost essential if you're a mage, I think. His apology was a real "Ha!" moment for me. Anyway, I found this video. The quest is called Fenris Night Terrors.

Unfortunately it doesn't seem to play out the same for a warrior / rogue than if you were a mage. If you're a mage and resisted Torpor, he comments (with some mild surprise) about it. It probably depends on your rivalry / friendship status with him too.

I'm wondering how they'll do additional content for this. All I can figure is extra missions for mid-game, like with the last one, rather than sequels or add ons. Maybe we'll get lucky and they'll pull a 'Awakening' move on us (that would rock) and we'd get to play as Hawke again, but somehow I doubt there would be much of related romance in it, because they'd have to include all possible romances. More likely it would be a cameo of the romanced character (Like Alistair), or something similar to witch hunt.

I found him in the fade, and I found one of him apologizing to a non-romanced mHawke. I'll just have to do it myself. I have the day off tomorrow and I'm going to play allllll day. I may do some laundry here and there too.
