@zee I am torn between hanging out here and talking about Fen all morning or going and playing the game and hoping for more Fen LOL and I've just accepted I am obsessed. Have not been this obsessed since Atton.

Hmm I know we were talking about hair colour on elf and someone saying they didn't see many Darkhaired elves in DA2.
I have found this to be incorrect. I have seen at least two dark brown or black haired elves in the Dalish Camp and then there is the elf Jelden, who gives you the note from your cousin, and Nyssa, who is married to Huon the mage, in the Alienage. And that is the ones I can remember seeing right now.
The Elves in DA2 seems to draw roots from Irish and celtic when it comes to accent, art and looks. So at least to me it make sense that having red, black or dark brown hair would be common among elves. So many being blonde really throws it more for me then the darkhaired elves...

@zee I think it's because when in Hightown many of the elves you see are all wearing white kerchifs on their heads and there aren't that many walking around the alienage, they all seem to be dock workers or down in Darktown. So you can't see what colour their hair is.

That is true. And a whole bunch looks like they are bald too. xD
Its funny how you suddenly realises that you saw something in game that need to mbe mentioned here. And then either alt+tab out to the desktop to write a reply or grab the laptop (which is usually next to me when boyfriend isn't at home) and write out a reply.

That picture was very nice indeed. Wish I were decent with drawing humans - but they really are my big weakness. -sighes-

So true, I don't care what the haters say calling him an 'emo' kid. Hear that voice one time and listen to his dialogue and you know that isn't true. They made him perfect IMHO.

@zee yes they do look bald lol

EDT: and I can't draw either, I paint but it's all abstract. Writing is more my thing. We all have our talents.

Its nice when Sarcastic Hawke says the same thing I was thinking. "Just fro once I would like to go a week without meeting a insane Mage" (its not identical to what she says, but oh so awsome)

And yes, I have a hard tme seeing him with any other haircolour then white. But I think I still firmly belive that he was born with dark hair and that the ritual is the reason why it is now white.

Also with a better angle I now noticed that Nyssa and Huon both have dark brown hair. But it still fits the profile I have buildt in my head for the elves XD

Edit: Oh I can draw and I enjoy doing so very much. But human anatomy always throws me, I can draw decent faces, I can draw most animals with some reference... but human bodies, there is just to much in the body language that I want to get out and can't get right... -sighes-

I don't mind the white/silver. It kind of makes me think of Rogue from X-Men with the whole shock-induced white hair deal, except that it's not just a streak.

-nods- Or Geralt in The Witcher. Actually he's closer I think to Fenris since I seem to recall Geralts white hair was the result of the alchemies that turns people into witchers.

That mod made me think it was recolored with MS Paint truthfully. I think just about everyone will agree that his original color is not the silverwhite, but it is the one that was created for him and we saw him with first and thus sticks. With characters it's not as simple as changing a hairstyle in real life.

Then again what do I know, I love default female Hawke and can't imagine making my own Hawke even though I usually love character creation.

I use Sarcastic Hawke dialouges 90%+ of the time. throw in some diplomatic or agressive answers where it fits though... Its so awsome that I think once I am done with this playthrough I will start over on this character... for the third time -.-
I really should try to play another character or class. But I really love my current Hawke... She's just awsome...

And for some reason ... just like all my other canon characters in every Bioware game I have ever played, she is a redhead -.-

I am the same with sarcastahawke, her dialogue is just winner and she suits my personality. I love to play rogues and she works so well as a rogue. I have to say I don't do all the greedy dialogues, I would probably have more gold instead of a paltry 30s, but I can't do it.

Mine are normally brunettes. I decided to try and make a character that looked completely opposite to my last DAO characther since they are both dw rogues.

I ways also trying to imagine what colour hair would look best for Fen's LI, but they all work I suppose. Silver goes with everything

-shakes fist- Now you made me realise that I had no decent screenshots of my Nadira Hawke... I have over 150 video clips of her, but only a few screenshots from very early in the game. So of course I now took some screenshots just to show them off. XD

Edit: Oh dear, Anders has come across as a bit of a douche to me this playthrough, maybe because I know where he is headed and thus hear things diffrently. But he sure does have some awsome lines sometimes. Was talking to Emile (the runaway mage that wants to lose his virginity in the Hanged Man) and the boy was complaining how he had never kissed a girl. Anders response: "The Ferelden Circle is more fun, everyone was kissing everyone. Though that was before the Abominations."
It made my smile at least XD

Hmm I wonder what would work for me. In the past I haven't really used music that ties in all that much to what I am writing/drawing but instead I have choosen music I enjoy that has some flow in it. I did however listen a lot to credit song in ME1 since that song is amazing back when I was completly stuck on drawing Garrus a year ago.

At the moment I actually listen to in game audio (through videos I have made) when I write and such.... Guess I could look through my spotify playlist later today, might be one or two of all my metal/rock songs that might work as inspiration for either Fenris or my Hawke. Or I could always go back to Infected Mushroom - Going Insane - that song always triggers creativity in me for some weird reason. XD

Edit: Actually ... Itchy Daze - Monster sort of makes me think of teh scene I wrote after Hawkes mothers death and such.

EDT: @Zee when I write I usually put on Last.fm either on puter or xbox and just punch in tags or fav bands to get a decent mix. Just so happens that was playing when I was writing and seemed apropriate lol

@silver I like it - you summed up the song really well. As I don't write or do art in general music is not a creative muse to me, but I tend to associate certain songs/artists with people/events/things.

I've become addicted to spotify the last year or so. I can find almost any music I want there, and I usually turn to a Swedish rock radio channel to discover some new groups.
Corroded - Piece by Piece sort of feels like it could represent my Hawke at times. And there are some lines in Carpark North - Just Human that I think could fit. But not quite the song as a whole...

Edit: Now why do I not have any 30 Seconds to Mars songs in my playlist already? Because It feels as at least that one belongs there. XD

@Zee I like your Hawke music, for me my DAO Rogue and my Hawke Rogue are all Kasabian Club Foot not 100% lyrics, but the attitude of the song and music is so them. Plus the line "I tell you I want you, I tell you need you...Just want you near me" applies to both Zev and Fen. EDT:you do need at least one.
