Playing my Pro-Templar playthrough (usually I do with what feels right, and don't worry about achievements), and so I just walked up to Keran and said you could be possessed (I didn't have Anders or Merrill with me). I almost feel bad for telling the Templars to take away his status...almost because +5 friendship from Fenris

Which is why I like coming to this thread the most!  I want happy fun times!  I don't really like to argue, honestly.  And I run from the general discussion section with great speed.  All of the surly folks who complain, the homophobes, and creepers make my blood boil.  I like to be mellow and chill.  And SQUEE!

Thank you, but I only compiled them into a spotify list. It is all of us here that has the credit for the content in the list, it is a collaboration after all...

That actually IS rivalmance -- isn't it?  He only paces by the fireplace in the rivalmance.  And that anger after Handriana.  I'm actually not sure if the anger is dialog triggered or rivalry triggered -- but I definitely got that anger in my rivalmance(s) and in my friendmance(s) he's not as angry.  But I don't pick as mean dialog choices in friendmances.

Edit: I do love this video though!  It's amazing!

Lovely ladies and lads of the Fenris thread, I just spent like 20 minutes looking for this place because I'm a dork with the forums. Finally I gave up on 'Search' function, thought outside the box and went to see tankgirly's last posts. I knew she'd lead me to you.

It's not too late to re-jump to the bandwagon, is it? I'm saying re-jump, because I posted here once or twice like months ago before the game was out, because Fenris intrigued me.

Well, now that I've actually played the game, oh dear heavens, I have to say... he does more than intrigues me. He turned my fangirling world around once again, put jelly in place of my knees and proved that I still have no resistance whatsoever towards BioWare's fangirl baits.

I need a support group, please be my peers ?

You don't have to be mean! Though, in my personal opinion rivalry path makes most sense if you are a mage yourself, and an idealist one at that...
That way, you can try to be nice, agree with him on some points like slavery, but you are going to butt heads on the mages freedom issue and the rivalry meter will just rise pretty much on its own, given you always drag him around .

It's a matter of personal taste though, I've done both paths and i just prefer the rivalry. Just a bit more 'oomph' in it for me. That and the fact he fights you decisions every step of the way, gets angry and still falls in love and stays with you, makes it that much more meaningful.

I have never managed to friendmance him on a mage.  It does feel right, the arguing over mage issues.

I love both romances though.  He is so sweet in a friendmance.  Just his reactions to the gifts when a friend make me squee.  

I get the feeling he's more challenged in a rivalmance and more settled in a friendmance.  Both are good.
