*shrug* I find Merrill bothers me very little, what with me, sorry the WARDEN running off to find an eluvian and letting Merrill leave through it. Without even trying to stop her.
I just can't take the eluvian seriously as something to be afraid of. Or maybe I've killed too many demons to be scared of OMG another demon has come through the mirror. *yawn* whatevers. how's that compare to a room of seemingly crazy amounts of spawning demons and arcane horrors and reverants? And I mean, I did that one by reading a book for attribute points. What can poor Merrill do with that mirror to top that? Nothing, that's what.

Hawke... worse than Merrill and yet getting no crap for it.

Might very well be, hair is fun to draw, but it seldom seem to want to act as you plan on it doing. Will give it a little rest and then look over the hair again and see if I can do something about it...

Ah yes, that thing where you shut your eyes and lies still for several hours, right?
XD

I'm sort of instable in my sleep pattern now, it happens at least twice a year when we get under or over a certain number of hour of daylight up here it seems. I either sleep way to much or way to little, it sorts itself out eventually.
Besides sleeping now would have meant missing out on one of the biggest creative rushes I had had in quite a while and that would have been an awful waste of perfectly good creativity XD

Sounds like you're up near the 'frozen North'.  In about two months, I'll have a day of NO night.  It will get dusky around midnight, stay that way for about an hour, and then the sky will start to brighten and we'll have full blown daylight for 22 hours (I think).

Pretty much yes, its pretty frozen still. XD
Think we have 23 or 23½ hours of daylight during the very mid of summer, and we are down to maybe 2½ to 3 hours of "daylight" During the darkest parts of the year. However when I lived with my parents we actually hadMidnight Sun during the summer, it never did set. And pretty much a few days where the sun never rose during the winter.

I love it up here though, it is home - even if it wrecks havock on my sleeping schedual ever so often...

Edit: corrected a few "I fail to write coherent" issues ... even if there are plent of them left XD

Edit: Okay I am going nuts. XD I have now started hearing voices... sort of...
Was writing something to a friend on facebook and realised I had written "Here I am" just to hear it in my head with Zevrans voice... And now female Hawke with "It is home" ... Think this is a sign I might have played a little to much Dragin Age XD

@demon you in Sweden? I know zee is - I used to live in Finland so I know how it is ... I miss it though, the 24h daylight more than makes up for the darkness, it's preferable to the endless drizzle of rain you get in England...

day 1 of detox complete *sigh of relief* though I expect it will only get harder...
Aaanywayy... my favourite Isabela/Fenris banter:

Isabela: You seem especially broody today.
Fenris: Does it bother you? Should I stop?
Isabela: No, don't stop. But could you add some smoldering to the routine? Just for me?
Fenris: Smolder?
Isabela: Oh, and while you're at it, perhaps some cold insolence.
Fenris: You want me to smolder and be cold at the same time? Those don't go together...
Isabela: Shush. Don't distract me with your logic

:)

OMG, that's awesome.  I need to have those two in party together more often...

And anyways, I'm in Alaska.  It was my husband and I's compromise.  He wanted to live in someplace that was not physically connected to the US (or was a northern foreign country connected to it...), I wanted to live on the same continent as my parents (although the other side of the country wasn't what I'd planned).  This way neither of us got our way, but we're both happy with the decision.  LOL  My parents, on the other hand, missed their grandkids so much that I think they blackmailed my (not very maternal) older sister into having a baby.

In other news...My Hawkette just had her heart broken...for the fifth time (yeah, fifth playthrough.  I have no life at ALL).

Alaska! Gee, you can't get further away and still be in the US :)
But it's quite like northern Sweden/Finland - I miss the proper seasons..

(fifth playthrough!? ohmg)

Working on some fanarts myself here http://img691.images...xmarianwip.jpg/ - I know Fen's likeness is still slightly warped, will fix that, but I figured I'd give you guys a vote on whether I should dress him up for that pic or not?

Y'know, after browsing dA and then seeing this drawing here, I am wondering why everyone draws Fenris so much taller than Hawke. Or is it that they're drawing her really small?

I can't speak for the rest of the fandom, but I have two reasons:

1) Fenris uses manly towering-over-you-techniques more than once in the game, who am I to deny that of him in fanarts? Seriously, take note, somehow he always manages to seem like he's looking at Hawke from above.

2) In my head, rogue/mage Hawke is on the lithe side, whereas my warrior!Hawke, if I had one, would be of completely different size.

Funny that, today I've seen several Fenarts where Fenris was shorter/smaller than Hawke, both female and male Hawkes.

Fenris should be slight-built - as elves are wont to - and at least a bit shorter than Hawke (male or female).

Was going to guess on Alaska or Canada since you didn't seem to be in the same time zone as me but seemed very familiar withe the northern hemisphere.

I'm tempted to continue playing DA2 myself. I think I heard boyfriends alar sound - meaning he's getting up. Think he hs afternoon/even shift today so no gameing for me untill he goes to work, just to keep the peace in the house. xD

I usually only play when husband is at work/away as he doesn't play DA - very occasionally I can get him to play something else but the PS3 is mainly mine :)

I dunno about shorter then my female Hawke, I actually see him being about her size. He does look smaller when you walk around but then he is hunched over and barefoot where everyone else walks straighter and has boots on. xD

He should definantly be build leaner then Hawke, even if he probably is in pretty good shape compared to the everyday alienage elves you meet in the game. But compared to Hawke and other Humans he definantly should be build morr narrow over hip and shoulder...

-is firm on the fact that her Hawke and Fenris looks about the same size-

I've family out on that side of the globe (not certain where...I think it was Finland, but...).

In my house, my hubby gets pick of the TV when he's home.  I have an Xbox hooked up to my computer monitor and I'll flip back and forth between gaming and writing/drawing/interwebbing.  My brother in law has all the other systems in his room hooked up to his (OMG, I WANT) 55" LED 3D TV.  However, as my hubby is off to war, he will be getting a laptop with a copy of DA:O (his favorite).  Due to the convenience of my set-up, I have yet to re-locate myself to the TV, so the kids get the big TV and Netflix to watch their shows/movies.

I think the 'standard' is roughly 4 inches shorter than humans.  However, I think that was referring to humans of the same sex, and there's always some variance.  I always noticed that he's about the same height as Lady Hawke.  I swivel the camera just to check things like that...:)
