Random advice: rivalry points on occasion aren't too obvious. Doing a kindness to Thrask (I think that's the name of the templar?) when you learn his daughter was an apostate by saying that you won't drag her name through dirt while her ashes aren't cold yet will get you rivalry.

Also, I notice when going after Feynriel, if you don't attack the slavers on sight for fear of the boy's life (even if you plan on killing them eventually ) you'll get "Why are we even talking! Kill them!" line and a rivalry hit. Just don't let Varrick do his bull****ting, which while hilarious doesn't earn you rivalry with Fenris if I remember correctly (I may remember wrong )

I totally let Varric bull**** them and then attacked anyways.  You actually don't get either if you let Varric BS from Fenris, but it does count towards Friend points for the dwarf.  You DO get friendship points if you kill them anyways (which I did this playthrough...for fun), but you don't get the points from Varric.

That story is <3! It's stories like Little Pieces that make it worth the trouble to browse through all the crap in ff.net...

I just want to say real quick that I loooveee to see fellow fanartists being so creative! We've got some amazing art here. :wub:However, I'd like to request that when posting fanart, please please post a link to the artist's dA or wherever it was you found/stored it. I'd love to give the artists some comments, even if it's just "OMGWTFBBQLOVE" (what else can one say about our gorgeous Fenris?). Personally, I really appreciate it when people looking at my stuff take the time to leave *any* kind of feedback and I'm quite certain every fanartist likes to know that they've been noticed!

It's the way Fenris gives up without a fight. And how he doesn't even get angry at Hawke. He pleads with him/her, begs to not abandon him. And then you get the letter that Danarius wiped his memories. Again. And Fenris is 'back to his obedient self'.

Yeah...I'm just going to skip that, for the same reason that I've never let Alistair get dragged off to be executed either. Since what is seen cannot be unseen, I'm choosing not to see it in the first place. I don't have the intestinal fortitude and would be sobbing like a baby.

As an aside, I also want a "punch Anders in the face" button - he launched into that whole "What do you see in Fenris" bit with Fenris RIGHT THERE (working on my canon Rogue right now)...I wish I could have just decked Anders and been done with it.  

Yeah, I tried that with Alistair once. Never again. I could never do that to Fen though, he's the first character I've ever found myself squeeing/fangirling over so much.  Yes, Anders... though I must say I thought Fen handled that one quite nicely.
I initially started that game gunning for Seb, but Fen and that voice . I don't think I can get my Hawkes to go on any other romance paths now, especially after seeing how much of a jerk Anders can be to Fen. And now I'm being long-winded. Just wanted to drop by and show my support to my favorite broody elf.

 You guys, did you take Fenris into the mansion during Sebastian's quest Repentance? The look on his face in the bedroom with that guy and the elf. Hawke and Sebby look really serious, but Fenris . His eyebrows go up and he has this half-smiling startled look on his face. So adorable.

I did Seb's quest yesterday, and Fenris just raised his eyebrows. He looked rather..surprised.

Hi. I used to be in this thread a lot. I'm not anymore. Thought I'd share this.

I just finished Merrill's quest in Act II and had Fenris along with me. A elf gets scared ****less by Merrill and she's all 'wtf' and my Hawke, sarcastic bastard, says "Why are you scared of Merrill? She couldn't hurt a fly. Worst she would do is make frowny faces at you." Elf runs off, we follow, fight the awkward looking derp-mantis, and leave.

And then this happened.

Merrill: Why did Pol run from me? He acted like I was a monster...
Fenris: You are a monster.
Merrill: >

Haven't caught up yet but I was replaying the conversation with Fenris when he talks about his past and I think my favorite smile of his is at the end of it, when he toasts the fallen. *wishes she had PC version to get a screenie*
