Probably finds it amusing Hawke can say "I want to avoid a massacre" with a straight face, since Hawke has the biggest body count in Kirkwall, let alone the Free Marches.  Varric even comments on it at some point, when talking to Sebastian about Starkhaven. Sebby says something along the lines of there being less dead people in Starkhaven. Upon which Varric says "You don't have Hawke." Lolbot.

I decided to replay DAO with a Dalish Elf this time (must confess all my other pt were humans) and romance Zevran just to see if or how it gets mentioned in DA2, though those of you that already did can probably provide the answer before I even get there. Slightly off Fenris topic...Merril...she seams a totaly different person in Origins. More serious and mature, she's nothing like a Merril in DA2. And wile I can justify Anders being different in Awakening I think difference in Merril's character is just wiered. Just my impression maybe?

Zevran is bugged, he doesn't mention the romance and will still flirt with Hawke and/or Isabela in his Act 3 quest.

I honestly don't remember Merrill in DA:O. I played Dalish first, but that was like the day DA:O came out. Haven't done it since. Her part was so small it doesn't really bother me that they changed her, like Isabela. They weren't so much fully fleshed out characters as ideas that were expanded on.

It doesn't  bother me it's more of an curious obsrvation. It's funny like you can go back and discover all new different angles to the story. It's a shame with all those different bugs in game thou. Can't wait for a patch that fixes them

I had it on Casual for that, but it also helps to have a mage with Arcane Shield covering the party and some fire resistance runes.  I brought Anders, had him running the shield and Panacea.  It takes a while but it goes much more smoothly that way.

It also helps if you try to keep the squishies on the move. One of the things I learned playing an MMO is to run out of the way when monsters start flying, and to keep moving if they are just going to stand there and shoot fire at you. I actually usually play as Anders for that fight.  He screams like a girl when he doesn't move fast enough and gets hit with fire... then I have to pause to laugh but other than that it's smooth lol

Yep, Zevran is most definitely bugged.  For now, the best you can do is use the mod that fixes the import flag bug, though that makes Zevran even WORSE (you get a combination of him thinking  the warden is dead no matter what and him still being able to get with Hawke) but his codex is the romance one with that mod so worth using.  I have posted in other places how he's supposed to respond -- hopefully this will be fixed in the next patch.

Unicorns are awesome.  Have you ever been kicked by a horse?  Trampled?  Seen someone run down by a horse?  It's a sight that takes your breath away and shakes your soul.  Now give that horse split hooves, a giant freaking horn, and magic!

They are an underappreciated and underestimated terror.  Only the hand of the unblemished may even have a hope of taming them.

Simply put?  Unicorns kick ass and no one should ever doubt that.
