Kind of random, but: I am in love with how many different designs I have seen for the markings on his chest. Posted Image seriously. Makes me all the more excited to see if we'll ever get to see them in-game.
As a random request: could someone possible come up with some idea for those on his back? It could be a quick mspaint sketch if you like, but I'm curious what people think they could look like. Posted Image

I understand that, I do. Really. Everyone seems to misunderstand me. I know that a rivalmance -- even in actual practice -- is very possible and works. However, I don't find it appealing. We'll see what happens if I ever fall in love with someone with whom I agree on almost nothing, but as a personal preference I need someone who's on my side. I have a friend I love dearly but we argue all the time. I respect him, but I could never be in an intimate relationship with him.

That isn't to say I want someone who agrees with me all the time either. Or that I think rivals aren't in some complicated way, friends. I simply have preferences.

Just wanted to say that I rather agree with you. I mean, I see how rivalmance is appealing, and how it could work in the long run. But I'd rather Fenris be Hawke's partner rather than her rival. They'd still disagree, but it wouldn't be on almost everything. Even if she was a mage.

 I didn't find it too difficult to friendmance Fenris even though I sided with the mages through the whole game(I just finished my first run through. :crying: I'm so sad it's over!). I brought him in every mission with me. I got some rivalry points here and there but I guess my conversations with him maxed out my friendship so I couldn't lose anything anymore. I have a hard time disagreeing or putting down my characters, so I think in my next play I'm going to challenge myself with a rivalmance(as a mage perhaps!).

From the videos I've seen on youtube, the rivalmance seems to be more spontaneous and passionate. Tres Sexy~

Post game, where do you think Hawke and Fenris go? For some reason I keep imagining them just camping out in a forest. Not to live or anything, but on their way "somewhere".

(Sorry for multi-tasking post.  I don't get to come online as often as I'd like with work and school.)

I won't even say how I read that first...

Edit: ANYWAY, it's not difficult to friend or rival romance Fenris.  He has strong feelings on things, and it's easy to push the correct buttons either way.

Both romances are amazing, though.

I imagine they went to Ferelden. Hawke knows the area, it's easy to find work with all of the rebuilding, and if Hawke is a mage, it's probably one of the safest places in Thedas right now being that they're ahead of the curve with the whole Circle collapse thing.

EDIT: Plus, my Hawke met the king. That's gotta get her brownie points. Maybe they went to Redcliffe, since Teagan will probably recognize Hawke.

I can see them going to Ferelden but for some reason I can't see them settling down. I agree with the whole "traveling" idea.

And I'm interested to know what you all first thought I said when I said the "felicitate" thing. lol :whistle:

Maybe not all Hawkes would want to settle down, but mine certainly would want to. She spent most of her life hiding and running, and finally thought she might find a home in Kirkwall when fame and fortune ruined that and cost her everything. She's probably seriously considering taking up farming. :P

Fenris seemed keen on finding a place to call home as well, but I don't know whether or not he just likes the idea in theory.

BLARGH, epic fail :<
Anyway, here's a /written/ desc X3

One broad line going down the length of his spine, with little spikes outward around each vertebrae. At the top of the broad line, two smaller lines break off and sweep over the back of the shoulders. They split when they reach the edge, one going around his arm and the other going down, to trace the shoulder blade. Right before they'd reach the spine mark again, they turn and spin away again, arching out then coming back in right above the tail bone, so they form a sort of hour glass figure. The two main lines, I mean. All along their length they'd have little trendils spliting off all the time to vein the skin.
That's... my idea, anyway >>;

I like to think they're travelling too, with the "home is where the heart is" kind of mentality. Fenris probably wouldn't be totally over paranoia about slavery, and mage!Hawke probably would have a huge target on her back. Plus, she/he is "gone" just like the Warden so I'm guessing there will be a third game. Dragonage II feels like a bridging game, to something more.

And to answer your question...*cough*  fellatio

I sort of assumed that they, as a group, were sort of running for their lives (since I sided with Mages) and slowly splintered of from eachother as things got heavy, or tight situations appeared. I mean, my Hawke and Fenris are sort of... fugitives at this point. X3 Very /recognizeable/ fugitives thanks to Serrah Wolf.
And yes, that's what I call him 8D;

I assume that they wander around, trying to not die, and then The Warden contacts them and arranges a meeting.
And now... DA3 has begun ;)

I absolutely agree with the thought about DA:2 feeling like a bridging game. There seems to be so much more that was about to happen and they left us with a cliffhanger. Hm.

And HAHA about what you thought I said. xD

Someone should write this. I have a thing for fiction that shows characters just living the life.  I could totally see my Hawke be a farmer too. I think they'd both just sleep with a knife under their pillows.

Yesss, I would read that. They hide away in some nowhere town which is why nobody can find them and just... live.

As for knives under the pillow, my Hawke is a mage and Fenris still has his phasing abilities, so they're pretty covered. Still, I guess the ol' murder knife needs somewhere to sleep too. :P

EDIT: @Tealsie: And shirtless. You meant to also say shirtless, right? :devil:
