Let us just pretend what happened yesterday didn't happen, forgive one another, and call that person when it goes too far via PM?
I don't think they need to be berated further. That is not the attitude this forum should take. It should be warm and inviting, not finger pointing and anger. They already seemed to regret what was said. It was in the spur of the moment.
Gaider said he let it slip, its done.

Cookies and milk? And then we all forget?
Sten wants cookies.... lol XD

What timeframe does Bioware typically use to release info about LI status and character uncovers? One month? Two months before release?
From what I recall, Alistair was announced as a LI around five months before release.

Same goes with Varric. We got very little before the trailer released.

I wonder if the DA2 design team used someone in particular to model Fenris after. His face certainly doesn't look that conventional, and seems designed from a specific person, like how Male!Shep is from ME, and Miranda from ME2.
Just a thought.
Well, we all know who he's inspired by now.

The climax of the game (Landsmeet) pretty much revolves around Alistair's being involved in the game. I'd argue that the entire story of Origins wouldn't have happened if Alistair didn't make it out of the Tower of ishal, actually.
Hm yes...i see what you mean...
And i would really like to know if Fenris has been modeled after someone. His features are quite unique (lips and nose mostly). In the first ever screenshot i almost thought he's aristrocratic.
EDIT: Valen was an LI?

Guys, I have a theory that may *possibly* help explain where Fenris came from. Remember just before the Landsmeet, you go back to the Denerim Alienage and elves are being sold into slavery to the Tevinters there? Perhaps Fenris is one of these slaves? Though the times might be a bit iffy, since DAO's about a year long and I've heard Fen turns up about a year into DA2?
Just adding my thoughts here.

It's also possible that Tevinter had been doing similar things for a long time, and Loghain and Howe were just desperate enough for financial support that they chose to allow it for a short time.

That would solve the time problem. And if Fen's from Ferelden, language won't be any kind of problem for Hawke. There are other Alienages we haven't seen, like the Highever one or the Amaranthine one*I think there's one there...*, he could be from there.
@holyjellyfish, the Denerim Alienage is the only alienage we know of that's definately had elves there sold into slavery to the Tevinters. Could be from one of the others but personally I reckon if Fen's from any of the Ferelden alienages, it'd be the Denerim one.

Humph...hadn't David just given out a special number 9:27? Perhaps that was the year Fenris became a slave?

I second this question for David. That or what drink he's most like? Better yet, what kind of drink does he like?
Avalia Pamunalis, specifically the 9:27 vintage.
It was a good year.
I don't think it was a good year if he became a slave

Also.. I'm still not sure about the Avalia thing but 9:27 would be about 3 years before Origins (though nothing else of significance matches that year in the codex.. yet.) Hm, actually I think the comics take place around that time but they follow the adventures of an apostate mage in Ferelden.
