Well, you don't get a cutscene or anything, but that banter is pretty clear -- they had sex, enjoyed it, and as soon as you are finished following Hawke around that day, they're going to do it again!

It's another reason why I think he was talking about emotional closeness and sex within a relationship, and not confessing virginity.  But you do get that banter if he's never had sex with Hawke, so obviously sex itself is not offputting to him.  It's only once feelings are involved that it's time to RUN AWAY! (ok ok, I'll give that whole subject a rest now!)

Just did Bitter Pill on Rivalmance for the first time. I let him kill Hadrianna. What are the consequences if you let her live?

It was certainly hot when the whole pinned to the wall thing happened. Although the animations are a bit awkward. I think I would prefer if Fen did the kiss/pin also. That's just me. I also thought he would have his armour off after sex so that was a little weird. But so cool that he had the red favour and Hawke insignia on his armour.

Which makes the whole break up thing even slightly more awkward, but on on rivalmance kinda works. Cause you know he loves Hawke, I mean he's walking around with her favour and insignia and all even though they are not together.

Oh I got this dialogue today, but I wasn't sure if it had anything to do with the romance or if it was just Fenris being his typical self.

I hope that answers your question. We do look at Fenris and go "oooh, hot elf with deep voice" very nice.  But that wouldn't hold my attention for very long.  I'd be bored if that were all there was to him.

Well said. This is what I mean when I say that the Fenris romance is, to me, by far the most honest one. 

I was just commenting on the fan made art that was the last 2 or so pages before i typed it. All had him shirtless and posed. Just sayin. I like the guy and he's one of my favorite. Just was amusing. Isn't like I said all are. Maybe the word many was read as more than I would have meant. Would "some" have appeased enough to not justify a wall of text defense for a one liner?

There was a lot of ambiguity in that discussion between Hawke and Fenris - and my interpretation of the conversation was more about his choice to be with someone rather than having no experience. He never really talks about being a slave other than in generic references.

I thought that Danarius was quite clear that there was a level of sexual involvement between them (I do not recall the exact quote but it was something like "the lad is quite skilled"). And Fenris clearly did not forget about that part considering his angry reaction.

I don't think men like Danarius use sex as their means of gratification. I can easily imagine that he is fulfilled by dominance, humiliation and inflicting pain on others, similar to the manner of serial killers. Hadriana gives me the same vibe - I wrote about her forcing Fenris to give her massages, but it wasn't because of sexual reasons, it was about control. I tend to take Fenris' words to mean he has no sexual experiences that he can remember, and Danarius' comment as an attempt at dominance and humiliation, not a truthful admission of what he seems to imply.

That's just how I've chosen to take it all, though, and I do very much understand the other perspectives on the subject. It's actually really fascinating to see the different takes on some of the less detailed bits of Fenris' life, past and present.

Hmmm, I actually think it's funny that Fenris and Isabela get together (that banter is priceless).  As far as the jealous conversation -- it is another instance where the 3 year gap makes ZERO sense.  It's like Hawke is in stasis for 3 years or something.  Fenris questioning about it when it should be old news is weird -- it sounds like it's something that just happened (and that key GRRRRR).  Really, the time gap between act 2 and 3 makes no sense to me at all as far as relationships go.  Anders and Merrill are horrible, with Fenris and Isabela almost as bad.  I wonder what the time gap was originally supposed to be when the romances were written.

I don't get it either.  I'm glad they hook up.  In my playthrough where I rivaled Fenris without a romance he just seemed so lonely.  I doubt they would have had anything long term and I'm sure they both knew that.  But, she could have helped him open up and eventually find someone who really would love him.
